I've been using the Pacsafe Camsafe V9 Anti-Theft Camera Sling Bag for 7 years and nothing really beats it honestly, in terms of design and accessibility.

Great review. Does the mesh on the back cause pilling in shirts? I’ve had bad luck with others.

I'm really curious how this pack operates when you "swing" it around to the front. Is it easy to access the pockets? Do water bottles flop out? I love my atom sling for this reason. I easily just swing it in front to grab whatever I need.
Also are the water bottle pockets snug and secure? I could see bottles falling out if I move the pack around a lot. Debating between this and the hydro flask sling for taking along water bottles as well.

@@samnectar It depends on which side you are carrying it. One side great, the other side sippers are on the zippers are on the bottom.

The water bottle pockets are very snug. I spin my bag around and they do not fall out. as the are elastic neoprene type material, they are tight on smaller or larger bottles.

Is this big enough and strong enough to hold a Canon DSLR Eos 7D with lens combined weight of a couple kilos? Looking for a day sling to carry around thats anti theft but also versatile and reasonably light weight and able to pack in suitcase when not is use. Im not wanting ro use my backpack everyday.
