Hi, this video is extremely helpful but I was just wondering a few things. So this has helped me go through my vocal break smoothly but how does the mixing registers come into play? Like I still feel like I’m just hitting the notes in full head voice and don’t know how to add more chest into it.

I don`t know if i can explain it in a comment, but i`ll try=) If you`re just starting to find your mix you had only expirienced heavy chest quality and light head quality, and your mix is smth in the middle, with wider resonance than your "round" and " hootie" headvoice. Those are new feelings, and they differs from chest feelings that you know and try to achieve. It`s like knowing 2d and 3d, but 4d is hard to understand and impossible to expirience=)))but hopefully for us, we can experience mix, and you`ll definitely find it. It has to be light, but with time, the more you`ll be comfortable with that mix you`ll start to bring more power. But DON`T pull up chest. Also watch my another video here about mix ruclips.net/video/_TgrtkIEeYc/видео.html

Metada, I have been learning a lot from your teaching style the past few days and really value you as a person and voice teacher. Thank you. And I have been following the war in Ukraine every day since the invasion. I am concerned about you since your video in which you said there was bombing in the background. I am.a retired psychologist in Wisconsin, the U.S. and would offer my home to you and your family, if that would help, until safety is restored in beautiful Ukraine. Carole Kj from America.

Hello! I`m really happy that my videos are helpful! and that`s so nice of you to invite me, thank you!=) we`re ok, trying to live our normal lives as much as we can. Luckily, there was no bombing on the background, just alarms that we have few times a day...(( mby we have a good anti-rocket system here in Kyiv, and last real bombing here was month ago. But, in other regions of our country they continue everyday((( And also our man can not leave the country, and i don`t want to leave my husband as long as it is somehow safe. Sooo, yeah, but! Thank you a lot!)

@@MeladaVocalsThanks for getting back to me. I'm glad you and your loved ones are safe (big relief). Certainly we can't leave our loved ones behind. I appreciate your cheerful spirit and, of course, you are helping me a lot to understand voice. Please stay safe and if I can help you back some time, please let me know. Slava Ukrainiani!
