what type of pomade do i use to get Sams hair? Does the cream pomade from american crew work or just the orignal pomade. I have straight hair.

Water based pomade will evaporate after a little while so it wont hold and as long as you shower regularly with lukewarm water and only use shampoo every three to four days youll be good

I tried it for 2 months. It didn’t really work
i used to have the exact same hair type but i actually managed to get it really fluffy, all I really did was find the correct hair routine for me (like learning how often to shampoo every week) and it turns out my hair was actually kind of wavy. Idk about you but I just ditched the harsh shampoos and experimented how often i should shampoo per week. You also have to learn how to style your hair properly to get it fluffy. I don't really use many products because i personally don't really like the feeling of having product in your hair 24/7 but it really helps with the style that you are trying to get, as it gives better hold. I used to have pin straight hair as well but that was because i used to shampoo way too often and once i found how many times I should shampoo per week I was fine.
just get a light perm if u have super straight hair thats the best you're getting because you cant magically change your hair type

Gel is for coming hair use texture powder, pomade, sea salt spray or if you want your hair to stay in a certain position use hair spray but not to much cuz it will make your hair silver or extremely shiny
