Dude you need more views! But don't worry, i play your vids regualrly. I'm growing hair (7 months in) and need all the tips and tricks + I enjoy your vids.
1) rinse hair (shower, spraybottle) 2) dry hair with old tshirt // scrunge up hair to dry (push hair up and squeeze it) 3) use hands to scrunge up at sides 4) dry thru just air, no dryer 4.1) if hair still flat untextured, use hair dryer w diffuser and push it to hair and swirl around (refer end of video for details)
I recently got the 2024 update in my hairs and 2023 methods were not working at all, thank you so much for this method, best video on RUclips for 2024 patch update
Why does the diffuser straighten my hair? I have thick wavy hair and they're almost curly when wet but no matter what I use (not even curl cream) when I dry them they become straight and way too dry. I tried a hair mask for damage and even both texture powder and sea salt spray but all they do is making my hair sticky and too oily, I can't let them hair dry because of climate, what should I do to keep the texture?
Yo thx for the steps man. I also have a question. When I go to the barber what haircut should I ask for. I’ve been wanting a taper but idk what to get. And do I also ask him for a fringe or do I just style it by myself at home Thx man
if you want a taper just ask for one if you don't want your barber to mess up just show him a picture of what you want it usually work and if it doesnt then its probably the barber that is the problem
honestly since you already have dry hair i wouldn't use either cuz both can dry out your hair even more. id recommend like a volumizing mousse or cream of some sort so that you can get volume while hydrating your dry hair
I’m glad there is a 2024 version on this because not many people have gotten the 2024 update on their hair
finally someone gets it
There’s a 2024 update? Damn I’m behind my hair is stuck in 2023

The 2023 version didn’t work for me , thanks for the update
So fyi put anything but texturizing clay cause my hair is sticky now (not cause of the video)
Thanks for this she cut mine way to short so I needed to find out how to style it good 👍
I have long hair just like you and thinking about doing that cut going to try this out thanks

Hey Cole! Do a video on men’s fashion.
I do want to start branching out from just hair content soon. I'll keep this in mind!@@Willis87122
@@Cole_Bussell Thank you! I would say first try a shirts video then branch out from there.

Do you recommend the butter version
Had to get my hair nice to ask someone out really hope it goes well
Edit: got rejected 😞
What did you tell the barber to cut
I have a very similar hair style, I ask the barber to cut the sides, leave the front to grow, maybe trim it up a bit and lower a bit of the volume
I have to get my hair cut today, what i should tell to the barber?@@nerolost4347
Yo this video has helped me a lot but I have one more question. What are the hair lengths necessary for the textured fringe?
you’ll want the hair on top to be around 3-4 inches
@@Cole_Bussell thanks you, that’s very helpful
Thanks bro, wil try it out 😁
Is it possible to get this done without using blow dryer or diffuser, my hair are naturally curly and I use only oil and cream.
Yes!
Ty bro it worked
can i use a pomade/clay instead of the curling cream and if i can which one should i get
yes that should work too
Can you replace the curly cream with powder?
i need 2025 update it is 1/1/2025 my hair stuck in 2024
I don't have a curl cream 😢
I dont have curl cream Can i use hair wax?
Yeah you can use hair wax but it’s not going to give you the same moisture and definition as curl cream.
Do you get a low fade or mid fade?
I believe i asked for a low
Yo thx for the steps man. I also have a question. When I go to the barber what haircut should I ask for. I’ve been wanting a taper but idk what to get.

Thx man
if you want a taper just ask for one if you don't want your barber to mess up just show him a picture of what you want it usually work and if it doesnt then its probably the barber that is the problem
I'd recommend both showing him a picture of exactly what you want, and tell him its called a tapered fringe.
And also... I went to a stylist for this cut, might be better than a barber imo
Which hair diffuser do you use 😮 even though my hair is wavy but not super. And I don’t really need the diffuser either.
its called laifen swift and the diffuser comes with it
@@Cole_Bussell thanks!
I've got pretty long hair and am thinking of cutting it short. What should i tell my barber to NOT get a phobia of getting bad haircuts?
Bro what can we use instead of the curl cream maybe something like gel or something you can recommend beside from the curl cream?
you can try a lightweight styling mousse or leave-in conditioner as an alternative to curl cream. If you want more hold, a light-hold gel works too
I have straight stiff hair that can barely move but when it’s longer it can move a bit more anytips?😊
try using a hair serum or a leave in conditioner. Should help with the stiffness
@@Cole_Bussell is it bc my hair isn’t wet all the time
What diffuser and hair dryer is that?
its called laifen swift
@@Cole_Bussell thank you🔥
wow so cool 😊
dont have a diffuser :(
im telling you it'll make a HUGE difference. you should get one
@@Cole_Bussell I heard they're mainly for people with wavy hair??
@@Cole_Bussellhow much do they go for? Thx
Is there any alternative to curl cream like gel or something?
Yeah you can definitely use gel as an alternative to curl cream! Just make sure it’s not too heavy so your curls don’t get weighed down
@@Cole_Bussell thanks!

Can you use coconut oil(that's all I have lying around
I have heard a lot of things about sea salt spray. Some people are saying that it damages the hair and some not. What do you think?

How to make it stay for long time???
Plzzz can anyone give me adviced????
Pomade
How do I make it stay for longer since for me it only lasts like 1 hour then it turns into my normal wavy hair
Clay with a mat finish you won’t be able to tell it’s there m
Do I need long hair u think?
Hey man this video will help me so much when i get this hair cut, my name is cole too! Take my sub
My man💪
Do you need the curling cream
So cut my sides short and keep the top semi long?
Hello, can i do this at night and the next morning it will stay like that?
nah u gotta do it everyday
İ gotta change barber my current barber doesnt know how to cut the sides not too much but not too less*-* he just takes it 0
do i need to use curl cream?
Try it without and if your hair isn't wavy/curly enough then yes
is that going to look good on asian people?
Yeah the textured fringe can work on Asian hair just keep the sides clean and textured on top, and you’re good to go
@@Cole_Bussell Thanks, but how long is your hair on the front? all the to your eyebrows?
What alternatives are there if I don’t have curling cream
you could try using a pomade or if you have regular cream. You can also try this tutorial w/o the curl cream and see if you get good results
@@Cole_Bussell ok thank you, love the vid man!
How do you get your hair to stay up?
I think the sea salt spray w hair dryer combination makes it stay up
@@Cole_Bussell I don't have that hair dryer TvT
Thank for the tutorial I just made my hair look like the thumbnail but less fluffy
mine didnt work man, im miserable
What a video, here’s your sub😅
💪💪💪
Do you need the diffuser
Try it without but if you notice its not textured enough use a diffuser
@@Cole_Bussell what one do you got
@@FrxstOn420 Its called laifen swift. Comes w a diffuser
1 extra thing don't do the top of you hair when wake up😅😂
How do I do it without products
You can’t really, especially at first
Yeah I feel like if you don't already have naturally wavy/curly hair you probably need products
Do you recommend texture powder over sea salt spray if I have dry hair that struggles to keep standing up
honestly since you already have dry hair i wouldn't use either cuz both can dry out your hair even more. id recommend like a volumizing mousse or cream of some sort so that you can get volume while hydrating your dry hair
I have thick curly hair is this hairstyle fine for my hair?
absolutely. if your hair is pretty curly then it might look more like a curly undercut than a fringe but it'll still look good
What haircut do I get?
My hair is so straight😪 I need it to look as good as urs man, really in trouble lol
@@skeezy9481 really appreciate it man. I just posted a vid recently on how to turn straight hair into wavy hair. Try it out and lmk how it goes
Hey man could you share some links for the cream and the sea salt spray?
I think Poseidon sea salt spray is like a top 5
After seeing this, I’m keeping my long hair.
Fair enough
This doesn’t work at all
And you did everything step by step? What's your hair look like after

Hey, why do we need to use seawater spray? Doesn't curling cream do the same thing it does, aka give texture and curl?
Yes but just in case the seasalt spray doesn't give you enough texture you can use the curl cream to make sure you'll have curly/wavy/textured hair
