Good Morning Susan, I am familiar with this home in Ninety Six S.C. It is a great small town, Main Street is 1/2 mile long with an active Railroad through the middle of main street and 2 red lights, since early 1980's the 96 School district has become a renowned Academic District offering highly sought after AP Programs for the Scholars and various other school activities. But my main reason for the comment is the house IS NOT a fixer upper it's tear down and rebuild, in the pictures you said the roof needed repairs but when you showed the back of the house picture I saw a continuous crack from the foundation all the way to the roof at first I thought it was a cable but further inspection shows as a crack from the tree falling on the roof and damaging the foundation. The felled tree was not due to Helene, my in-laws live 1/4 mile up the road and in the same home for 55 years so they know the area and neglected homes due to the owners age and the children moving away.
