Just did round tip BA Business Class on the A350-1000 from Austin to London. I must say I loved the Club Suite, entertainment and food. I had the filet on the way over and it was really great. Pick 9A or 9 K and you get 2 full windows!
The A350 is a great aircraft, probably one of my favourites. Pleased you enjoyed your journey. The Club Suite is an improvement on the original Ying/Yang seats. Thanks for the advice on seats, if I’m on there again, I’ll see if they’re free
The seat and the cabin look fresh and modern but can't say that there was anything that "wowed" me regarding the catering, service or amenity kit. Given the choice I think I'd prefer to fly UA in their Polaris business class between LHR and ORD.
The amenity kit hasn’t been refreshed in a little while but the eye masks are great. The food was nice and tasted better than it looked too. I’d love to try UA’s Polaris Suite as well so I could compare
You know? Even way before the pandemic (Circa 2008) I snagged seats on BA in their Business category from IAD to LHR connecting to CPH to join a cruise ship. I was underwhelmed by the service trans-Atlantic compared to MY airline at the time, Continental. (Edit): At least now 15 years later, BA serves Business meals in proper courses, unlike in 2008 when they slapped down a tray with everything at once.
Why is BA the only airline I know that charges extra for seat selection in business class?
I was expecting to hear whether the seats fully reclined to a lying flat position or not. Did I miss that or is it just assumed that they did?
My bad, I guess I made the assumption people new and I didn't actually sleep on this flight, just reclined the seat slightly to relax

@@leestravels7079 You are welcome.
We flew LAX to LHR on the A350. Great plane, great seats, impeccable service and wonderful food.
top quality definitely best yt
Now they need to rid of the ancient hard product on the 787s and 380s.
That’s happening from what I’ve read
@@leestravels7079 Eventually but seem in no rush.
My fave drink!
Champagne for the win Dean
Is the champers a reasonably good one?
Yeah, tastes good! Heidsieck Monopole silver top I believe
@@leestravels7079 nice, I still wished they served Laurent Perrier

Would not fly BA if you paid my fare.
A bit ridiculous no? Yes they’re not the best but there’s far worse, this service looked pretty good?
@@nickf619 no not ridiculous, I'll stick to quality like Emirates, absolutely no comparison.
@@normacoope8239 Ok but do Emirates fly LHR-ORD on this route?
@@nickf619 where is ORD?
