Whoever's doing the subtitles on this show, you're honestly cracking me up laughing :-D I live in Ireland, and the regional, let alone street to street different accents can be hard to understand, let alone translate :-) I live near Shannon airport, so seeing it in this episode made my day. What they don't show is the number of American military personnel/aircraft that pass through daily, with ZERO security checks allowed on them by customs or immigration, or the number of tall, muscular/fit and heavily bearded Eastern men who come in every day, no passports or ID, claiming to be children under the age of 16, who then disappear into the community, only to show up again at Dublin airport with a new passport/driving license and a ticket to America, all under a different ID to the one they claim when they get here, of course.
Yes, the closed captioning is funny. "What is your daily bread?" when the words were "what is your date of birth?" And unfortunately, yes to every other concern you brought up. All in all, an interesting vid.
Well if you are trying to get into this paradise illegally have no fear…a policeman or border controller will write your name in his notebook….so there
I love how direct the officers are, atleast you know where you stand. In the US, People are too worried about getting their feeling hurt so police aren't always this direct, but wish they were.
So that’s no wonder why I get filthy looks from the Gardai every time I come home to Ireland on visits from the U.K. on an Irish passport into Dublin Port, off the ferry from Holyhead, in my 21 years living in the U.K. and with extended family in Ireland
Are you arguing that there should be no migration? Like at all? The government can't stop people from arriving illegally outside of airports and other formal entry points. That's why they pay people smugglers - the goal is to totally avoid altogether formal entry points. Governments also can not exert control over people who enter legally but then breach their visa conditions. To expect Governments to do so is ludicrous.
Where do you get that they're not insured from? Why would anyone other than the driver need to be insured? And the police's generic insurance covers anyone going about police business.
@@David-mr3gw The police do all kinds of things, in the course of their duties, that civilians don't do or aren't allowed to do! It's the nature of the role. As just one example: in London there's a problem with men on small motorbikes and mopeds driving onto pavements, snatching bags, phones etc from people and riding off. Specially trained police in vehicles are now allowed to 'clip' the bikes with their vehicle to cause the riders to fall off and be arrested. Deliberately driving a vehicle at another vehicle is a crime in most cases, but police are allowed to do it, and are covered by police insurance to do so.
This episode being from 2018, I wonder if they're getting the large Disney ships now? Even back then, the Magic was Disney's small ship (the large ones were 4k+ passengers. And now the largest is 6k+😳) But Disney ships are always the most technologically advanced cruise ships on the water by far (regardless of their size). 😎 If you have kids (that like Disney stuff) and you can afford it, It's definitely worth it. 💪 I have only ever heard a single complaint
A woman not being arrested is a JOKE. Shoplifting, false identity, driving without license. Now they will look for her wherever she will hide. Not to mention the influence on the child.
there is still an entry point in Dublin without any passport control (just tested a few weeks ago). I am happy to share that intel with LE if interested.
All you have to do is follow any Irish registered truck down any motorway, 65-75 mph is the norm when English vehicles HGVS are only travelling at 56mph which is the legal limit for heavy vehicles. Everyone involved in haulage knows this but for whatever reason the police on the mainland are reluctant to pull these vehicles. Most laden HGVs will exceed the 56mph limit when running down hill as the weight pushes the truck but mysteriously Irish registered vehicles can comfortably do 65mph uphill loaded.
I was going to say. In America That lady giving false names twice, would've been on the ground, in cuffs, and the kid either handed off to a relative or sent to child services (likely after the FIRST false name). And she very likely would've been arrested for the shoplifting regardless, and certainly been charged for driving without a license. However, your police seem to be much more polite and reserved (we certainly need more of that over here in the states) 🙂

I am a Filipina and the way you spelt the Philippines, ‘Philippians’ is utterly indictable. First of all, didn’t you finish watching the episode of what happened to what you called ‘fishermen’? instead of the correct grammar fisherman? In the Philippines, you need to go to a university and finish with a curricular structure of 3 years of academics and one year of onboard training, and once you pass all the requirements, then you are a university graduate with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation or Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering. After that, you need to sit for an examination to become qualified as per rank. And lastly, the process is long, you have to undergo more training, medical examination and so forth if you aim to set sail internationally. I can tell you that because of my father and brother's experience as a seafarer/seaman. My father is a retired chief mate officer and my brother is currently working in one of the prestigious yachts.
SINCERE APOLOGY folks..... didn't mean in that sense, my colleagues here at NHS National Health Services, England mostly from Philippine and never mentioned anyone about seaman profession. They all prefer medical profession. Cheers
Filipina here, yes the Philippine passport is not powerful but the man’s case is that he got a seaman’s book that is a valid document to prove that he is joining a vessel. Also, I’d like to correct the narrator of saying ‘international fisherman’ In the Philippines it takes a four-year program with a curricular structure of 3 years of academics and one year of onboard training to become a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Marine Transportation and Bachelor of Science in Marine Engineering. Also, it takes a lot of requirements and examinations to set sail internationally. Please, Sir, next time do your research before you speak on national or world television.

You want to reduce fatigue in lorry drivers, reduce the allowed daily work time from 15hrs to 12hrs, you can drive 9-10hrs, but you're allowed work a 15hr day, that's where the fatigue comes from, not driving for 9hrs. But that won't happen because money talks and the EU listen to the demands big haulage companies.
Commands 265. Finding the tampering with a speedometer. Recent video there was talking.. About the gambling in Las Vegas and how they would buy a slot machine about $4000. Use electronics. Some of the electronic tools cost $12,000 a piece. These officers in Ireland do a very professional job. It makes the road saver.06/03/2024❤.
Do you want hundreds of thousands coming in? Thing is, you can stem the flow of migrants to a point. It’s impossible to completely stop. Especially when we’ve an open border with the Uk.
Same as UK and most of EU - uninsured vehicles are immediately seized and impounded. Costs a fortune to get out, or it gets crushed after 2 weeks or so.
Truck should be seized. Also, in the US those digital tachs aren't even used. Drivers are still using logbooks. My family owns 2 trucking companies in England, I recently moved to the US as we're looking at expanding to here, I spoke to numerous people who do the same line of work we do back in England and truly was shocked when I learned that books are still being used over here which of course also means no regulation for a digi tach too. I know some companies have the systems, but still, surprising the US behind on such a critical thing like that
It means he was a perfect traveller the guy with the Seaman’s book! Why did he wait behind the immigration officer for so long??? The immigration officer needs more training about the documentation of the arriving passengers, though!!!
Typical LIB Ireland….. make you pay TV tax, higher road tax for older cars, shitty public healthcare system, ridiculous rules, etc…… but great beer pubs…
Here in the US, you wouldn’t even step on my deck on the truck let alone get in it and drive it it’s highly illegal insurance problems. All kinds of stuff got no permission you can’t do what they want out here get away with it like they do out there. Oh I know you can drive you’re probably grinding my gears
You're seriously suggesting that the police in the US don't have generic insurance which covers anyone driving a non-police vehicle in the course of their police business?
UK and Ireland borders in 2023 are non existent meaning TONS of hard drugs are entering the country i was born in AND I DON'T LIKE IT , Im asian and i pray we need to secure our borders
They mean immigration visa. Not Visa, the payment cards. If somewhere accepts Mastercard, they'll accept Visa. With most, also accepting American Express
At the end he talks about driving hours. What about when your company doesn't give you enough rest and your forced to drive tired because when you're u wasn't tired your hours ran out. I've driven at times I shouldn't have and look back on how lucky I was. Now I work formyself down to 3.5t but I drive when I wake up and sleep when I feel tired. Drove 16 hours 2 days ago. Some days 3-4 hours. We need a new system the old system isn't working.. The ones who crash and kill tend to be drivers who are legal and abiding by the hours
⚠️ TL;Dr My personal Rant and experience... Getting rammed by the state with no Lube for not carrying auto insurance for 10 days 😭😭😭😭😭 It's wild 😂 In Michigan, if you get caught driving without a valid license, regardless how perfect you were driving or whatever, you get arrested (on rare occasions, you might get super lucky and get an officer that lets you go, but that's unlikely anymore) Driving while suspended gets you in more trouble and inevitably costs you more than most severe infractions. My insurance lapsed (This experience is in OHIO now😏) and the DMV sent me a "random selection" to verify my insurance (mmhmm how random and a coincidence) well long story long, my license was suspended and the state sent me a letter informing me of a 90 day suspension, I never opened said letter because it arrived the same month of my birthday so I assumed it was my annual renewal reminder for my tags... and I never opened it. Mind you, I reinstated my insurance and my car wasn't insured for those 10 days but the "random selection" letter asked specifically for proof of coverage on a 7 day period that of course was within that 10 days lapse. FYI I learned later that SafeAuto insurance would send the Ohio DMV driver information of insureds with lapsed accounts .. that's a different rabbit hole you can jump down and explore on your own... anyway, didn't open letter that said I was suspended... did open the first from the previous month asking for proof of insurance of those dates and I just sent on my my cards that showed those coverage dates, even though I was aware that there was a 10 day lapse, my card was still current for that coverage period plus I had already by then reinstated my account, so I had zero worries about it nor did I have a single thought about it after sending in the card. Go to random night a month later and I have a tire blowout on the expressway and pull over. My sister and my toddler are with me, it's late, cold and rainy. Cops pull up and we are finishing up with the tire change and instead of offering any help or literally anything, he decides to take the opportunity for an easy strike 🙄 I love our officers in blue but it was like, for real, I didn't do anything and running my license was a dick move IMO. He informed me I was suspended and now I'm getting a citation for driving while suspended. I was in shock and felt like it was the end of the world. Thankfully he let my sister drive and slapped me with a ticket. I went to court and that's when they informed me that once the DMV got notified of my driving under suspension, my current 90 day suspension would turn into a 6 month suspension and a requirement to hold a SR-22 with my insurance for 2 years!! 😭😭😭 That ended up being the worst fcking part 😡 All the reputable companies wouldn't cover me or the cost for full coverage was $250 a month... with a perfect prior driving record. Zero tickets or anything before not paying the state their insurance monies. So I paid $120 a month for liability from some company I never heard of for 2 years after having my license suspended for 6. All the hoops and money I had to spend to go back and forth to court to get driving privileges for work and doctors appts and the store, which I had to wait like 2 weeks (i think, it's been 13 years) from that first court date before being allowed to request a judge for privileges. That stupid mistake, because I couldn't fcking afford it, and wasn't even driving for those 10 insured days, cost me thousands. My sister's DUI didn't even get her any special insurance restrictions and that could have been a serious outcome drinking and driving. It all comes down to money. I take responsibility for my negligence and no one is to blame in that situation but me but my point is that the consequences for not having insurance, in an already AT WILL STATE which insurance shouldn't be mandatory and each driver responsible for their own but that's my opinion, My consequences and costs were far more severe than those with more serious driving infractions. My ex caused a multi car accident. Injuries and lots of $$ worth of damage. Didn't have to carry an sr22. Didn't get suspended. Everything is guided by money for the state. I learned my lesson but still, having that on my license history cost me jobs because they could care less about the story. It was my mistake but one that cost me a great deal more than serious ones. Rant over. Thanks for listening to my unsolicited, unrelated TedTalk ✌🏼

Gods - going on a cruise would be bad enough, but a cruise run by Disney would be a lifetime's worth of nightmares.
How old is this film.?
Filmed in 2018 I believe
I am working on the assumption that if a passenger does not "pass" they can stay on the cruise ship?
Yes, by remaining on board they are still theoretically in the country of ships nationality.
Could be one of those auto subtitle programs.
I sure hope they don’t get through, we don’t need more criminals in the US.
Yes, the closed captioning is funny. "What is your daily bread?" when the words were "what is your date of birth?" And unfortunately, yes to every other concern you brought up. All in all, an interesting vid.

19:08 how ironic is it the Officer is talking about safety as he and the camera man are whizzing down the highway unbuckled.
I love how direct the officers are, atleast you know where you stand. In the US, People are too worried about getting their feeling hurt so police aren't always this direct, but wish they were.
Yes I've noticed the American cops like to have nice chat for twenty minutes before they think about dragging you out 😂
So that’s no wonder why I get filthy looks from the Gardai every time I come home to Ireland on visits from the U.K. on an Irish passport into Dublin Port, off the ferry from Holyhead, in my 21 years living in the U.K. and with extended family in Ireland
People protecting their borders, as their own government allows several 10s of thousands of migrants in with no restrictions.
Those " people " ARE the government...
Welcome to ireland
at 11 minutes theres 4 people in the truck on the motorway, only 2 insured though? 🤔 hows that legal?
Where do you get that they're not insured from?
Why would anyone other than the driver need to be insured?
And the police's generic insurance covers anyone going about police business.
@@clairenoon4070 2 seats in a lorry, no seatbelts for the guy sitting on the bunk, im only sayin.

And now the largest is 6k+😳)
But Disney ships are always the most technologically advanced cruise ships on the water by far (regardless of their size). 😎
If you have kids (that like Disney stuff) and you can afford it,
It's definitely worth it. 💪
I have only ever heard a single complaint

A woman not being arrested is a JOKE. Shoplifting, false identity, driving without license. Now they will look for her wherever she will hide. Not to mention the influence on the child.
there is still an entry point in Dublin without any passport control (just tested a few weeks ago). I am happy to share that intel with LE if interested.
18:56 wrong lane Garda, keep left unless overtaking. Truck 100% should not be in the overtaking lane.
Other than that interesting series
Is that Terrance Stamp doing the narration?
All you have to do is follow any Irish registered truck down any motorway, 65-75 mph is the norm when English vehicles HGVS are only travelling at 56mph which is the legal limit for heavy vehicles. Everyone involved in haulage knows this but for whatever reason the police on the mainland are reluctant to pull these vehicles. Most laden HGVs will exceed the 56mph limit when running down hill as the weight pushes the truck but mysteriously Irish registered vehicles can comfortably do 65mph uphill loaded.
why are you talking about english problems on an irish video?
What are you on about "the mainland"
65mph uphill loaded :D :D give it a break
This show has taught me that theres little risk to breaking the law and its worth taking a chance because you wont get punished lol
I was going to say.
In America
That lady giving false names twice, would've been on the ground, in cuffs, and the kid either handed off to a relative or sent to child services (likely after the FIRST false name). And she very likely would've been arrested for the shoplifting regardless, and certainly been charged for driving without a license.
However, your police seem to be much more polite and reserved (we certainly need more of that over here in the states) 🙂
Same here. It's even more tempting the more you travel through these airports and notice how infrequently people get checked for these things lol
It’s a high trust homogeneous society with little to no “usual suspects”, although that has started to change in recent times unfortunately.
this show has taught me how east it was back in the old days to explore lol. No wonder british looted every country and colonized most of the world...

Philippians arriving Dublin without visa ???? Whats the story of Fishermen in Dublin please????
@balishah82 maybe u have genes of a carabao 😂😂 seafarers can go anywhere in the world without a visa if they have to immediately join their ship
SINCERE APOLOGY folks..... didn't mean in that sense, my colleagues here at NHS National Health Services, England mostly from Philippine and never mentioned anyone about seaman profession. They all prefer medical profession. Cheers
This inspector and camera man are sitting on the bunk at 122klms per hour ? They are there to enforce safe road use ?
5000 euros fine is pathetic the company should be shut down forever
You appear to forgotten the potential jail sentence.
The man at 4:58, that's a Philippines's passport, that Filipino passport are considered one of the weakest in the world if any of you were wondering.

Why wasnt that woman arrested and charged with shoplifting , driving without licence and insurance and lying to the officers??? Crazy
I enjoy The border officers the Uk. Especially the advanced technology. And the dedicated dogs and how they can pick up senses. They need to raise more money, so very dangerous job.
Very professional people
They could use a cheap Amazon GPS speedometer to show what the speed actually was. To keep off the police radar.
Priceless now, anyone can come in now, no need for visa or passport 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
The 5000 euro fine is ridicilous. The haulage company can make that back in less than a month of operating with a tampered vehicle.
Muy buen trabajo de la policía.
The woman driver being allowed to walk away with just her car seized is a joke! She stole and then lied repeatedly to the Police.
She will be summonsed to court and then charged. I think the laws are slightly different but this was a while back. Now, she’d be arrested on the spot.
Ireland seriously needs to get much stricter , too many illegals coming in and never to be found again , it would happen anywhere else . Ireland get tougher, alot tougher
Had no clue trucks tracked that.
I wish India had possessed such advanced technology centuries ago. It would have facilitated the swift apprehension of illicit activities. Presently, the British endeavor to safeguard the artifacts they have expropriated. 😂
Why was that Women Arrested, ,She was Illegal Driving no Insurance and let to walk away Even Though she was Spotted Shoplifting the Night Before 🤔
You want to reduce fatigue in lorry drivers, reduce the allowed daily work time from 15hrs to 12hrs, you can drive 9-10hrs, but you're allowed work a 15hr day, that's where the fatigue comes from, not driving for 9hrs. But that won't happen because money talks and the EU listen to the demands big haulage companies.
Ha Ha subtitles are hilarious 🤣🤣🤣
Commands 265. Finding the tampering with a speedometer. Recent video there was talking.. About the gambling in Las Vegas and how they would buy a slot machine about $4000.
Use electronics. Some of the electronic tools cost $12,000 a piece. These officers in Ireland do a very professional job. It makes the road saver.06/03/2024❤.
Why bother thousands are coming in every day without any money, documents or skills 😂
Do you want hundreds of thousands coming in?
Thing is, you can stem the flow of migrants to a point. It’s impossible to completely stop. Especially when we’ve an open border with the Uk.
This is a normal day in a place…. Where tolerance is.. thousand
How did he arrive without a visa..
So funny Seaman's book is not for international fisherman 😅😅it's for those who works on shipping company
Correct! The Officer is ignorant!
This should apply in US cease the car without license and insurance. Hope the govt should think this I guess
Same as UK and most of EU - uninsured vehicles are immediately seized and impounded. Costs a fortune to get out, or it gets crushed after 2 weeks or so.
There tactics approaching the car is poor.
Well done no visa no entry
U dumb,he was allowed entry.
Perception of tough border, weak enforcement in ireland. As it looks.
Is This Post a Joke Advert 🤔No Wonder All of Europe is Moving to Ireland, We’re a Laugh 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Like he said, didn't want to hold up the line
That woman with false names scrap the car
Christ the truck having no speedometer is crazy dangerous. An operating like that for hours on end. Insane.
Truckers know their speed by engine rpm and gear they are in.
The question is... How was he allowed to leave the Philippines without a visa for Ireland?
Driver got caught
I would have arrested this woman right after she lied the first time! Yes, he will find out who she is when he takes her to the station!!
Lol! As if she gives a toss! She's literally just got out of jail.
Border security personnel are heroes.

She gets away but the truck driver could go away for 6 months.
26,000 is just the tip of the iceberg.
I have cancelled my trip to Dublin, I have only Mastercard, not Visa.
They mean immigration visa. Not Visa, the payment cards. If somewhere accepts Mastercard, they'll accept Visa. With most, also accepting American Express
@@JackJackProductions Can you use the American Express to travel to Ireland?
@@Pierluigi_Di_Lorenzo Yes. You can use an AmeEx as a payment card in Ireland. Although you may need an immigration visa to enter the country
Getting rammed by the state with no Lube for not carrying auto insurance for 10 days 😭😭😭😭😭
It's wild 😂 In Michigan, if you get caught driving without a valid license, regardless how perfect you were driving or whatever, you get arrested (on rare occasions, you might get super lucky and get an officer that lets you go, but that's unlikely anymore) Driving while suspended gets you in more trouble and inevitably costs you more than most severe infractions.
It sounds like " Sha Na Na " Pote.
The trucking company owner needs to be in prison.
