When I was a kid, the first thing I associated with a doctor was anatomy. Doctors know about the human body. Simple. It was only when I got to university that I realised that it wasn't quite so simple. Memorising human anatomy was a mammoth visual task. Just memorising the words and knowing what they meant was hard enough. But learning anatomy with just words is ridiculous and inefficient. Instead, I started with visual diagrams and pictures. Then I read the sentences to see if they were a legit description of what I was seeing. Eventually with practice, I could just close my eyes, picture the structures and start describing what I was seeing using my own words. This whole process I got down in 6 weeks using a combination of visualisation and my 3 rapid memorisation techniques. #shorts #anatomy #medicine

that's bullshit , finishing anatomy should mean being able to know the histology , position , blood flow/drainage of an organ , innervation and general functionality . Neuroanatomy by itself will take 6 weeks , if you actually study each part as it should be studied .
@@dio1018I did it in 6 weeks. Innervations, blood supply, movements, and dissections.
@@ZantherStone u can skim through the general stuff , nurse school anatomy is still anatomy . But learning neuroanatomy to an adequate level would take 6 weeks of fully concentration studies . U need to know the organization of the CNS +the histology and nuclei/pathways distribution , the PNS and it's division/innervations , exact pathways of the bigger nerves . Histology of nerves and ganglia , histology of brain and cerebellym , spinal cord and their meninge , the circulatioin of the CSF . + Quite a few other subjects . U might read a key point booklet about the subjects that lets u pass a multiple choice exam ... but u won't no matter how invest finish all of anatomy in 6 weeks . (If what u are talking about is just general organs distribution and their supplies then it's doable but that ain't medschool anatomy)
@@dio1018 I guess I'll have to take your word for it, but I got up at 6AM and went to bed at 1AM pretty much every single day for 6 weeks, 7 days a week (others who did bettr than me only got 3 hours sleep consistently). No time for cooking, working out, full meals, or talking on the phone with loved ones, whatsoever.
We had all the topics you mentioned, though impossible for me to know the depth compared to full med school anatomy as compared to it unless I went through a detailed syllabus I guess.
I wanna cry. It's too much.
😂😂true
Don’t be too hard on yourself
Just accept it as it is 😂😂
Its just baseless memorisation. Most of the doctors dont even remember half of the shit they study in med school.
Okay, so I’m not over exaggerating 😭😭😭
Not me reading head and neck a night before my exam.
Don't kill me with laughter o
Not me
We have the full skeleton tomorrow. Plus tissues.
@@loveislife8868 I'm serious 🤣... Actually the exam came and it was good
@@ASHUJE-wp6fd don't be like me bro
My personal favorite method is using a whiteboard. I draw out the diagram and color in whatever I need to remember (I am currently learning muscles and bones). I will fill in whatever I know, then look at the diagram, pick one or two to remember, and then switch color and write those down. Once I have gotten all the names without looking at the diagram, I will wait for 5-15 minutes and do it again. I will then review them mentally every morning and night.
Today at the univercity i fucking saw a 4 years old childs body without the face and legs and hands just staring into my soul in an alcohol jar. Even if i dont want to that would stay with me
Its not easy to study medicines...it contains study , depression, loss of senses, anxiety and whatsoever....
Everyone Criticizes how Medicine evolved but still everyone runs for the Medical or Surgical Treatment and no one dares to tell the alternative better way of evolving it!
@@AnqaNoorand that’s why I want to become a biomedical researcher or scientist because I have generalized anxiety disorder and everyday I wake up thinking one day something can go wrong with my body and cause me to have cancer or other diseases. I want to be able to make a difference and face my anxiety and better understand it so one day I can be able to change that for myself and others. I want to be able to give everyone hope.. wish me luck u guys !!!
@@afrazamjad1644because theres a law that says that only a drug can cure, prevent or treat a disease. A drug means its approved by the fda. There are alternatives out there, theyre just not advertised because it’s illegal to say that anything at all other than a drug, can cure, prevent or treat a disease. The back of many natural supplement bottles says that statement. You put your life in the hands of an MD, youre most likely to be chopped. They dont know how to cure disease, only to mask the diseases symptoms with drugs.
That’s Formaldehyde, not alcohol
In just 6 weeks? WOW!
It's practically impossible unless you're Shawn Murphy
@@kingpatil2882 😂😂 well said
When you been a A student since you was in 3rd grade everything else is easy. Repetition and habits just follow. 🤷🏾♂️
@@johnnietaylor5517we did like upper and lower limb in 7 weeks 🙂
We did in 3 weeks 🥲
Wish that learning anatomy could be easy 😮 and not stressful.
Hlo
I'm uploading important questions on my RUclips channel so if you want u can see it
Thank you
Becoming a medical scribe while not majoring in anything health related has been a kick in a butt. Writing this here cause the main thing I struggle on with training is initially “knowing” the concept at first rather than continuously applying it has been the reason I don’t retain certain concepts. I appreciate y’all learning more of depths of medicine cause I’m learning just a fraction of what you guys are doing. You guys got this, and I believe in you.
Memorization and learning are not the same
Yes and no. Beside memorizing the parts, their sections, and locations, you need to make it your skill to quickly identity those on cadavers and people with varying constitutions. If you’re too robotic in memorization, you’d be in trouble.
@@phamdung3884 true
the term memorization is always interchanged with different meanings, sounds like you don't study at all lol. If you go for rote memorization, that is really low level but there are still some learnings in there. The person in this shorts is doing higher level of memorization where you need to understand the concepts first, therefore higher retention. Different ways of memorization, but still learning.
I was thinking of doing medical school and heard memorization is key
What is your system
Anataomy is all based on your memorization and then the concept.. because no matter how much concept you gonna learn you will never be able to learn all the nerves, arteries, bones, muscle and landmarks without memorising
6 weeks.... guys, please don't fall for this hoax
Lol 😂... Honestly he is lying.
If he said 6 years I will accept.
You can’t memorize Human anatomy in such a short time.
You can
Clearly, you haven't seen his power 😊
I'm from non medical field, I'm an engineer, and always wanted to learn about Human anatomy, physiology and pathology..... Any suggestions, books, resources would be appreciated... Thanks in advance.... DOCTORS ARE BEST❤
Me and my friends done that one day before exam 😂scored well.
Seriously! 😂😂🙌
Useful to know thanks. 😃
Yeah we do it before exams 😂
I got 2 weeks 😢
Must have studied the basics before. It's a long process, none can remember whole anatomy in 6 weeks. That's why they teach basics in high schools.
What do you mean by "basics" so I can prepare myself ?
@@Aminhelal210bruh if u want to go to med school just prep for mcat , no point in studying stuff it's useless.
everyone doesn't learn the same
Actually we do lmao just depends how many excuses we make.
When im hard at work to learn something i get it fast
When im not its slow
All you have to do is try just as much as someone else that succeeded has and you’ll be fine
Saying “everyone doesn’t learn the same” id basically already giving up or not trying as much
@@I1ght961 it's a fact that everyone doesn't learn the same you idiot. Learning something involves creating new neural pathways for memories. The strength of those pathways depends on the attachment with the memory being formed which decides wether a memory is short or long term. Different people respond differently to different things and thus their reactions and eventual ability to memorize and recall something will be different due to their unique interpretation of the stimuli. Everyone needs to find a method that beats help them retain information, it's not a matter of jUsT dO iT gEt gUd brUh
@@I1ght961ut there has been several studies where geniuses are mostly born.
That's another story. For an average Joe, like us, being hardworking (even if you understood *nothing* ) actually pays off in the end.
It's all up to you.
No, we don't..And he's not saying you'll get the same results in the same amount of time. He's just kind enough to share the technique he used so you can try it too
@scream9973 actually not everyone learns the same. I think what he meant was some of us are more visual learners, some are more auditory learners and others kinetic learners. So, its not that people make excuses but maybe it's because every human being on earth is unique and not one person on the planet, ever since the break of existence, is identical to the next. Hard to belive right ...
There was too much going on in the video, i could not even pay attention to what you were saying 🙄
If i could've been doing only Human Anatomy then it could've been possible
We do Gross anatomy, Histology,Embryology, Medical Biochemistry and Physiology in 12weeks🙂
Goodluck to people with no imagination
full video please
The transitions were so distracting, I really didn’t hear anything the first time I watched the video 😭
100% cap. Either you will forget everything again in a few weeks, or you are not talking about "all of anatomy". Because thats impossible. But u know, gotta make that plug to your learning programs 😂
In my case,I first go through a yt video or two, then go for the dissection and extract whatever information I can from others while doing the dissection myself and then grasp what our lecturers offer, then go through the yt video again and read Chaurasia and perhaps watch the video again. Yep, it’s that simple. 😅
Currently watching this right now at 9:50pm(where i'm from).😅
Upcoming junior college student here🖐️..
cramming miserably, must memorize anatomy & physiology because time is soo freakin fast.. 2 years left before i reach finish line🤞🥹
Wish me luck, doc🫶
Cap!
Bottle caps like Fallout 3.
Even RUclips click bait is setting more realistic goals than I do at this point 💀💀💀
I close my eyes and talk to god
Ah yes the classic clickbait of memorizing the entire anaotomy of the human body in an unbelievable amount of time… great content
im a upcoming freshmen LMAO was thinking i might take nursing and then seeing this............shit
If you are a med student bro just suggest stop making videos, you have to be addicted to medical books and medical lectures, you will be lost into making editing videos, and this is dirtiest addiction , and rest all your choice
I don't have money to buy atlas😭
No wonder I struggle so much with anatomy.
Gosh mbbs is close😢
What is a word for rethinking ? What does rethink it mean ? What does it mean to rethink things ? What does rethink your thinking mean ?😂😂😂😂😂😂
2 weeks here... And it was very easy ...
You should have just advertised that one. WTF
Dork 😂
When you are a medical student : Ugh that anatomy again?
When you're an artist: Givet! givetome!
When you're DaVinci : Let me open and explore what miracles are there...
😂😂😂methods of not forgetting 🙏🔥🔥🔥🔥👍
Clinical examination book for a anatomy exam?
Seems like smarter people always say 3 words but you not
Second day at med school and am already dead-
Why is everyone so shocked? In my german med school we had 8 weeks for everything except for the brain. We had to study in the morning and dissect the cadavers in the evening. It‘s for sure possible
Psst, Americans
We enter med school right after high school. We had approximately 6 weeks to learn thorax, upper limb, histology, embryology, general physiology, blood,CVS, biochemistry- food and nutrition, biomolecules
It's horrible to memorize this massive amount of information in such short time
transitions are very irritating
Whr is the Full video
You don’t lol
Tutor me plzz 🙂🙂
Ok but what can I learn in 24 hours before my final?

This guy's the next Ali Abdaal lol! Improved 😎👍
VERY possible

1 night 😂😂😂
Of course 6 weeks of human anatomy time just for breathing eating and maybe sleeping.
Maybe...
Bro i can memorize most of it but for some reason.....the blood supply and nerve supply gets me, like i believe its because i didn't focus on them much until i reached the abdomen and now a lot of them are there
The ps3 controller 😮
Ok good… now tell us about the 7th week😂😂😂😂
Were can I get the full video
This transition is too distracting. I cant pay attention in what you’re saying… began again… stil can’t
Taking Anatomy now, this is helpful
Anatomy is a hard subject.
Not really interested in the human body
What is collaboration thinking ? What is a collaborative approach ? Why is collaborative mindset important ? What are your thoughts on collaboration ?😂😂😂😂😂😂
lol stop flipping the books and brains around
My brain accept it it's not for you.. Why is Anatomy so hard😭
Can i use these books during mbbs ?
You have huge resemblance to pv sindhu
In six weeks? I call CAP
stop doing those transitions imma transition u to after life
Have a healthy diet to memorise better fr
Just make a video. Stop with the transitions.
That's the ps4 controller, all i can think of 👽
Bruh no way 6 week unless ur prof are very linient , took me 5 months ( anatomy include , micro structures of everything+ neuroanatomy an circulatory system)
