    RK3 Designs is a learning studio focused on teaching how to create beautiful epoxy finishes using Stone Coat Countertop Epoxy. These tutorials include epoxy countertops for kitchens, bathrooms, and much more. This channel provides tutorials for DIYers, contractors, designers, or artists.
    Rhonda Dracoulis Founder and Primary Instructor
    RK3 Designs started as a way for Rhonda to showcase her creativity but has blossomed into a way to help others find theirs. Her obsession with painting led her to start refinishing furniture and kitchen cabinets. She found customers wanted a nicer option than laminate but more affordable and customizable than natural stone, which lead her to countertop epoxy! Since then, she’s helped thousands of students, from across the country (and even Canada eh?).

      We work with several contractors around the area. Most are word of mouth actually, which make it nice. This particular contractor built a house rental house for us and we installed the countertop, vanity and shower. He was very impressed and now pushes the product to his other clients.

    Would the veins move the brown the same with the bondo spreader if the brown was spray paint?

    • @RK3Designs
      @RK3Designs  Год назад

      Yes, but being that the veins epoxy, they will move just a bit and not stay like the spray paint does being on top.

    Great job, this was exactly what I was looking for when doing my countertop. The only change I make is a little lighter on the gray. Was this on a wood surface with a paint and primer or MDF with an undercoat bonding?

    • @RK3Designs
      @RK3Designs  2 года назад

      I agree with the lighter gray. Would have been perfect. It was MDF.

    Is there a reason why you didn't start with a light spread of epoxy on this project? Thanks

    • @RK3Designs
      @RK3Designs  3 месяца назад +1

      It’s not mandatory to do a skim coat. The skim coat will just help the epoxy move a little easier. If you don’t want the pattern to move too much, you can skip that step. 😊

    Why not just spray alcohol mist and get the bubbles out without torching..

    • @RK3Designs
      @RK3Designs  Год назад

      Depending on what epoxy you’re using will dictate how well alcohol pops the bubbles. Too much alcohol on the surface can compromise the integrity of the epoxy.
