I love this and would love to see more projects like this. Colors for my house would be western colors. Love my coppers. I would like to see the texture medium use without the rollers to get some ideas that can be done. Thanks for showing us different ways to do things.
This was the first time I have watched a video of yours. Your work is absolutely beautiful and now my mind is spinning with ideas for furniture makeovers.
Thank you for this video. I am French speaking and your prononciation is extra. I understand every word. Thank you for that also. I feel in love with this finish. Maybe I will try that.
that turned out Gorgeous!!! if I were doing it for my house I would paint the legs black. Love watch you , you're very explanative so I think anyone could do it eventually
You knocked this one right out of the ballpark! Wow!! Love these types of creative projects and then seeing how you preserve it with SCC epoxy is a bonus. It looks like a lot of fun, can't wait to try this :)
OH MY GOODNESS !! RHONDA, absolutely gorgeous 😍❤️!! I can't even tell you how excited I was to watch this video! Your talents are amazing and I really enjoy watching your videos! I will try to watch more of your live videos. I'll have to set a reminder on my phone. Lol. My first big project is going to be my shower walls! Carrera marble☺️. From Stone Coat Countertops video. Then my bedroom furniture! I've been practicing different techniques for a year now. My friend needed a granite top for a small kitchen island to match her kitchen countertops, but I'm struggling with this technique! I also joined the foil club from Artistic Painting Studio and I'm watching Jennifer's videos too. Your a great teacher with great talent!! Thank you for sharing! So I'm going to make some small wooden jewelry boxes for my granddaughter and 4 niece's. Thank you so,so, much!
Wall mud does crack and it looks like crap when it drys. Learned that lesson the hard way. Ronda, I love your videos. You are so talented and creative. I've learned so much from you!!
If people want to use wall mud AKA spackle, mix 70% glue all with 30% water. That gives it the hardness you need and it wont crack when it dries. It works for me anyway.
I should have a business doing this because I love love love different textures, medias, never plain, and original creations. I'd rather form with my hands then say a mold, or if a mold is necessary I do things like put soap bubbles on top of UV resin before curing, then a rubbing or dusting of using a mica powder w/glitter then top it off. Beautiful! Or plastic wrap for a silk or wrinkled effect.
Fantastic work as usual Ronda! Tx for finally letting me see the glossy UTC in action on a bigger piece! Love the textured medium and the possibilities it opens. Hopefully in the next 3 or 4 months I will be able to make a steampunk table I have retelling in my head since last year! ;)
I was wondering about using red for your undercoat... I remember hearing that it will enhance copper or even gold. I am loving this piece, and always appreciate your pro tips.
I would like to see tray tables, old furniture table tops, lazy Susan's, coffee tables, small stuff with rollers, foils, texture medium. I love this! Table is beautiful.
YOU just gave me an idea; I have 2 wooden 4 drawer file cabinets that a client asked for something to go into a man's library/office with a Mad Men type decor.. guess what I will be doing to those file cabinets now? I was going to painstakingly do wood stains to look like inlayed wood in a Great Gatsby Art Deco design, but I think I like this so much better.. of course, I will use just the UTC.
That will look epic. If the file cabinets are metal, you’ll want to apply a good bonding primer first before you trowel on the texture medium so you have good adhesion.
I absolutely love this table! I wouldn't change the legs, so rich looking. When u said Crock roller I wasn't sure, but this is one of my favorites so far. So beautiful. And... I also would love to see and feel the texture. Would UTC cover this? Is UTC a resin based priduct?product?? Talk more about UTC and why it's needed over the best resin. Thanks!
love the way this table turned out! what are the pros/cons of using the utc vs a final coat of epoxy. I saw stone coat use the utc also, why the utc instead of epoxy???
Stunning, looks amazing, black red and gold would be amazing. This is gorgeous, really makes me want to try on one of my small side tables to see if I can create something as pretty ❤️
Absolutely stunning. You have just inspired me to do something like this, but on a smaller scale. Maybe make MDF wall watches etc. Problem is that we can't get StoneCoat in South Africa. I will need to look for similar products on everything you used. Thank you for sharing. I love your work❤️❤️❤️💖💖
Gorgeous as always. I really enjoy watching your tutorials..I plan on making it to Texas soon to take one of your classes because I'm so inspired. ❤🙌🏾 I personally won't have used the black glaze as much BUTTTTT we know "you can't stop there and have to take it up a notch" 🤣 But that's why we came here for anyway 😉
Hi Rhonda, I think that you are an amazing teacher and most likely a grand interior designer and I would love to see more of your textures and how you do the beautiful work that you do. Some of it is complicated because you use initials it's the first time watching your video and I don't understand what the initials mean it would be much easier if you would just say the name of whatever you are using I don't understand what texture medium, I don't understand undercoating. I am going to do my kitchen table exactly the way that you did that coffee table. I have watched this video at least 20 times, and I'm still left in the dark, however, you did answer one of my questions, by explaining we simply just can't go out and buy drywall mud because of its texture. I would like to know the difference between the texture, which I'm about to spend over $150 dollars for versus drywall mud what makes the two different? What is the ingredient inside of this textured medium, that I have purchased, between drywall mud? I mean I get that it will shrink and it could possibly crack however I have used drywall mud for texture on my walls. I've had no problems with that as for shrinking or cracking goes. I would like to better understand what you are talking about. I would say the rule of thumb is always to pronounce the name of the products instead of using initials. You do have a lot of newbies coming here. This is only a suggestion. You are very good at what you do
Hey Karen!! Thanks for the feedback Why don’t you give me a call and I can answer any questions you may have. I would love to help but It’s quiet a bit to answer on a RUclips comment!! Our shop number is 830-745-3440.
I love this table. Great colours too. You give a lot of good tips as you do your demo. Great video. I have a dull plain white “stone” bathroom vanity top. Can you make a video on it. The vanity is brown wood and colours of the flore is brown grey and about on a cream white tile. Tub and the shower are a creamy white subway tile with row of glass accent tile. The colours range from are grey, slightly medium beige andoff white. Oh taps etc are silver/ chrome. The walls are beige-ish ❤🙏😎 I could send a picture but I don’t know how. I hope you can help me I have been looking for a solution to restore the shine & cover a few stains & scratches. Please help me!❤️
Awesome project. That little board behind you leaning up against the other big ones. Can I get the link to where you did that technique? It’s the one on your right about shoulder level high.

Thank you for this video. I am French speaking and your prononciation is extra. I understand every word. Thank you for that also. I feel in love with this finish. Maybe I will try that.
Merci beaucoup d'avoir regardé et laissé un commentaire si doux!
It turned out beautiful!! Looks like you went out and wrestled a gaiter for the top and then blinged him up!!
🤣🤣🤣. Thank you!!
that turned out Gorgeous!!! if I were doing it for my house I would paint the legs black. Love watch you , you're very explanative so I think anyone could do it eventually

love the way this table turned out! what are the pros/cons of using the utc vs a final coat of epoxy. I saw stone coat use the utc also, why the utc instead of epoxy???
You actually use both. You’ll do a final clear coat of epoxy then roll on the UTC for incredible added protection and durability 😊
I would try copper black teal or turquoise
Stunning, looks amazing, black red and gold would be amazing. This is gorgeous, really makes me want to try on one of my small side tables to see if I can create something as pretty ❤️
