    What I love about epoxying countertops it that if you mess up, you can go right over it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can probably do it 3-4 times before you reach the price of new table top, and everytime you do it, it makes the countertop stronger.
    I plan on doing my mother-in-law's countertops and can't wait!

    • @StoneCoatCountertops
      @StoneCoatCountertops  Год назад +1

      Great question, whenever epoxy hits a sharp 90 degree edge the epoxy will build up like a speed bump. Round over with 1/8'' to 1/4'' roundover bit on any sharp 90 that will eliminate the build-up. That goes for the top and bottom edge. Lemme know if you have any other questions

    • @StoneCoatCountertops

      Very durable when best practices on prepping the laminate is followed.
      1. clean grease and grime with TSP
      2. fill laminate seams and chips with all purpose bondo
      3. Sand surface and edges with 180 grit sandpaper
      4. Apply 2 *THIN* coats of Stone Coat Bonding Primer
      5. Apply 2 thin coats of epoxy undercoat in your color of choice
