I absolutely love the videos you guys make when you go out. It has inspired me to keep my 1972 CJ-5 and see out all the mods i want to add to it. You are right when you say its a way of life. Keep up the good work
As always, your videos are spot on. Well shot, well edited, and well run. Not too long and not too short, just enough to make you drool. If I ever get out your way I am going to have to go ride with you. Cheers
Wayalife your videos are the best,i just last month picked up my 2013 jku rubicon and last week installed a rock krawler 2.5 max travel and 35/12/5/17 goodyear attiude mt.It,s a start i cant wait till sometime down the road i may get a chance to wheel on one of your trail trips.Your videos show the fun you can have wheelin.
i was watching this and my grandpa was telling me how the stress on your front end is incredible and how the vehicles are not meant for this kind of stuff they build them and say they are but they aren't haha but anyways love your vids keep um comin!!!!!
Another awesome vid. every time I see your vids it reminds me I have a lot of work to do on my TJ. I shot some vids this weekend . It is real hard to shoot good stuff . driving and shooting is hard . thank you guys for great vids.
@sacmarine thanks, you're gonna love the 4-door. trust me, we loved ours so much, we sold our tj to buy another. if you can afford it, i would get a rubicon. the 4.1 t-case, e-disco and lockers will get you running some hard trails stock. totally worth it.
@adanac96 thank you, this is all just a hobby that cindy picked up a couple of years back - no schooling or training what so ever. regarding the camera, it was just an old sony HD camcorder that we bought at costco. it has since died and we now use another that we got of similar quality.
@unwrappedbox in places like moab, yes, the longer wheel base is an advantage. if you can learn how to wheel it in places like the rubicon, it also does just as well as a 2-door. overall, for the kind of wheeling we do, i prefer a 4-door.
@ICEMAN240387 thank you ICEMAN, we really do appreciate the kind words. regarding the camera, we're just using a basic sony HD camcorder that we bought last year. there are much nicer ones that you can get today. as far as wallpapers go, you can find them on our main website project-jk . com - click on the gallery link and then the trips and trail events link :)
Awesome Wheel Stand, And as much as I cringed when that last song came on, nice touch and the out-takes with it work great. You guys ever doing any Sedona Trips? See some nice videos from there.
@unwrappedbox honestly, i think people would have been driving 4-doors years 20-30 years ago if they were made back then. the extra room, ability to carry more people and cargo and overall ride comfort can't be beat. don't get me wrong, i love 2-doors but for most people, having a 4-door is just more practical.
@k1neece well, if you're worried about mpg, building up a jeep like this isn't something you should do. we maybe get about 10 mpg average. on the highway and keeping it at 60 mph, maybe 14 mpg.
@bennybooster if you read the green bar at the top of the screen, it should indicate that the video is "still processing". once it has been processed, it will be in HD. please check back later.
if their rigs are setup right, it shouldn't limit travel. still, i'm not that big of a fan and prefer the new e-disco on the jk over one and keep the already soft factory rear sway bar in place.
@Coonpiss 4" of lift is a lot of lift and more than you need to run 35's. i personally wouldn't do it as it would make you too tall and require a lot more to be done to keep your jeep riding and handling well ON PAVEMENT. 20" wheels are way big for 35's and i might recommend you stick with something more like 17".
If we are going to get in to the fuel consumption issue where the environment is concerned the beauty of wheeling goes right out the window. When the start making a reliable electric offroad vehicle the treats me the way all my jeeps have, I will be the first one on-board. Believe me.
what program does she use? she's got me beat! haha. Your videos are fantastic. I love watching them. I am in a TJ, but your group really makes me want a JK lol
@c34kaupp you can get it at just about any book store or amazon - look up charles wells, he has books for northern and southern california as well as arizona, utah and colorado
the poject jk video's are awesome! Do you guys have a pro IT guy that goes along? or is it all just member video? the editing and video is just fantastic!
Great video, as always. I definitely appreciate your insisting that Jeep is just as much a culture as it is a vehicle with your "wayalife" campaign. I notice a lot of wranglers (TJ, LJ, JK) Rocking the currie anti-rock, but it always seems to severely limit their suspension travel. Almost canceling out long arms in some instances. Is this product really that great?
In respons of the 4.0 inline for the jk's, they wont put it in one because the V6 3.8L gets more power with less effort thus making better mpg and more roadable to appeal to those who aren't jeep freeks like the rest of us.
@wayalife damn, sorry ICEMAN, i was having problems responding to you and ended up making multiple posts. unfortunately, when i started to clean things up, i accidentally removed your post too :(
Not worried just wondering. I just sold my 06 Dodge 2500 4X4 diesel. So anything around 10 is fine by me. Plus I'm not spending 4.50 a gallon. I just wanted a heads up. Thanks
just a quick question for you project JK guys.. do most of you prefer buyin the cheaper non-rubicon models. and adding your own brand and type of lockers and gears ect... or do you guys prefer to buy the rubicons and just lift them.. cause with the rubis you get not only lockers but the disconnects, 4:1 t case, gears ect...
wow, amazing editing!!!! do you dmake videos for a proffesion or is this just a hobby or yours??? Also what kind of camera are you using??? I am really interested in making videos and i love thte outdoors but the best camera i have ever been able to use is a gopro :( You did an amazing job on this vid!!! It looks like you guys have ablast out there, could u please get back to me on the camera. Thanks
Jeep is the MacGuyver of Vehicles. You don't buy it for fuel mileage you buy it because it does not care what the weather is it will get you home. Bone Stock.
I absolutely love the videos you guys make when you go out. It has inspired me to keep my 1972 CJ-5 and see out all the mods i want to add to it. You are right when you say its a way of life. Keep up the good work
Great Camera Work, Bad Ass JKs .. Just awesome! I LOVE my JK! These videos are evidence of a jeeps ability to go ANYWHERE.
As always, your videos are spot on. Well shot, well edited, and well run. Not too long and not too short, just enough to make you drool. If I ever get out your way I am going to have to go ride with you.
Cheers
Just bought my first jk unlimited, these videos helped speed up that decision.

I'm glad you like our videos and hope you can understand that we'll continue to make them with music because we enjoy making them that way.
Thanks for another very well produced video. Was worth the wait.
we've gone both routes and when it came time to buy another JK, we went the rubicon route again.
Best 9 minutes of my life! Great Job!
Another awesome vid. every time I see your vids it reminds me I have a lot of work to do on my TJ. I shot some vids this weekend . It is real hard to shoot good stuff . driving and shooting is hard . thank you guys for great vids.
What a great piece of work. Fantastic video and fantastic driving. All good.
Brilliant work, wayalife. Brilliant. (New JK, former XJ owner) I almost envy you.
LOL!! we were TJ owners for 10 years too. we now own 3 JK's.
gotta say, im a tj owner, but these videos have given me a new found respect for jks (4doors that is)
I would 5 star if I could. I'm an Early Bronco guy but you guys put out some good videos.
@sacmarine thanks, you're gonna love the 4-door. trust me, we loved ours so much, we sold our tj to buy another. if you can afford it, i would get a rubicon. the 4.1 t-case, e-disco and lockers will get you running some hard trails stock. totally worth it.
seriously? I've been wondering that too! Great videography.. Great edits, and great footage. It inspires me to learn more and more
@adanac96 thank you, this is all just a hobby that cindy picked up a couple of years back - no schooling or training what so ever. regarding the camera, it was just an old sony HD camcorder that we bought at costco. it has since died and we now use another that we got of similar quality.
most of us are still running the stock 3.8L motor. mpg depends on how big of a tire you run, gear ratio you have and how you drive.
@unwrappedbox in places like moab, yes, the longer wheel base is an advantage. if you can learn how to wheel it in places like the rubicon, it also does just as well as a 2-door. overall, for the kind of wheeling we do, i prefer a 4-door.
You Guys ROCK.....makes me want to start a TJ club!
She uses Adobe Premier. We're glad you like our videos :)
Every time I watch your videos makes me wish I went for 35s *tear*
Great video. Cant really tell that it was a difficult trail other than in a few spots. at least by the video.
Awesome Wheel Stand, And as much as I cringed when that last song came on, nice touch and the out-takes with it work great. You guys ever doing any Sedona Trips? See some nice videos from there.
Dude yall are my heros. keep going hard!
@Traxxasman94 those are factory fenders that got a custom chop job :)
@vendeta412 back when this was made, we were running a purejeep bare bonze bumper
@k1neece well, if you're worried about mpg, building up a jeep like this isn't something you should do. we maybe get about 10 mpg average. on the highway and keeping it at 60 mph, maybe 14 mpg.
the book is by charles wells and he has ones that cover ca, az, ut and nv.
@UNENCUMBERED1 of course we do, we let anyone who wants to join us come along :)
@steersdjs all 2007-up wranglers are JK's.
totally as awesome as allways

@MrWalizard yup, you saw right - psc steering system

woooow great great video!
Sorry, not sure what wheel you are referring to.
Nice video guys! I was wondering, do you know what kind of fenders are on the yellow JK? Thanks.
If we are going to get in to the fuel consumption issue where the environment is concerned the beauty of wheeling goes right out the window. When the start making a reliable electric offroad vehicle the treats me the way all my jeeps have, I will be the first one on-board. Believe me.
@msiordie44 naw, it ain't too difficult especially if you're running coilovers and 37" to 40" tires like we were :)
what program does she use?
she's got me beat!
@callofduty4dude guess it all depends on how big you want to go and what kind of budget you have to work with.
Love the videos Eddie! What kinda MPG are you getting and do you take extra Gas with you?
I just ordered it, you rock! but my wife officialy hates you, now.
Superb I love it "BUT" try to make 10 sec long video lol is worth watching every sec of it.
Thanks :)
@3Jx we do this :)
damn! i love this song
In respons of the 4.0 inline for the jk's, they wont put it in one because the V6 3.8L gets more power with less effort thus making better mpg and more roadable to appeal to those who aren't jeep freeks like the rest of us.
Love your Videos! Im in the process of trading in my lifted TJ for a 4dr JK. Any advice for this Jeeper? Stay real and explore!
Did i see that right? hydraulic steering on one of the white jk's
I need the GPS numbers to find this trail. I think I ran that trail in 2006 at the Hi-Desert Round-Up. Only Ford Bronco out on that run.
very cool!!!!
@wayalife damn, sorry ICEMAN, i was having problems responding to you and ended up making multiple posts. unfortunately, when i started to clean things up, i accidentally removed your post too :(

He moved a boulder ! :)
@goOFFROADING it'd be nice to have a v8 but, the v6 works well enough
just a quick question for you project JK guys.. do most of you prefer buyin the cheaper non-rubicon models. and adding your own brand and type of lockers and gears ect... or do you guys prefer to buy the rubicons and just lift them.. cause with the rubis you get not only lockers but the disconnects, 4:1 t case, gears ect...
Wayalife why does it always seem like people have a 4dr jeep instead of a 2dr
@RevoKillingLst2 spiderlock beadlock wheels
wow, amazing editing!!!! do you dmake videos for a proffesion or is this just a hobby or yours??? Also what kind of camera are you using??? I am really interested in making videos and i love thte outdoors but the best camera i have ever been able to use is a gopro :( You did an amazing job on this vid!!! It looks like you guys have ablast out there, could u please get back to me on the camera. Thanks
they need to offer the 318 V8 or the 4.0L in the new jks
What is that book you have at 3:52? Does it have the best trails in America? Where can I get it?
@express360 safety thimble
even more. if fuel consumption is a concern, a jeep may not be for you.
what do you do to be able the buy that year of jeep and still be able do all of those mods
can i get the coordinates to the trail head please :)
@wayalife Do you believe 4dr is better for off roading?
I get 14L per 100km combined, 9L per 100km if i stay at 90km/hr on the highway... I have 33s and 3" lift... not too bad considering :)
what year is your Jeep? my 2012 Jk gets around 10L/100km on the highway
The only problem with a 4bt Diesel is that it can't pass emmisions test's..Diesel option are a far but distatant hope :(
