wayalife, excellent video ! Thanks for posting it. This summer, 5 JKers from British Columbia, Canada are going to Moab. Your videos give us a clear picture of the upcoming adventures.
As always, i love your videos! This was an excellent closing to the other moab video's and it was well put together. I like seeing the trail repairs put in there! Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing your wheeling adventures.
My favorite tires for off roading are now Nitto Mud Grapplers. However, they are really noisy on pavement and if that's an issue for you, I have always loved Toyo Open Country MT's as well. I am currently testing out a set of Nitto Trail Grapplers on our other Jeep and they are working out great too.
@wayalife my TJ is stock except for a steering box skid and a belie skid. thank you for the invite. I would be the one on the end of the tow strap. looks like you folks have lockers lifts and winches. I am saving for a winch and different bumper. just had a blast in a mud puddle on the side of a road. OllllllO :)
the muffler has been relocated and now sits parallel to the rear drive shaft. the skid plate is a part of the off road evolution evo lever rear coil over system.
@ursman777 it is a lot of work but the r&p was binding up bad and preventing us from moving the jeep. pulling it out was the only way to get us moving. adding fluid back in and enough so that oil would make it to the axle bearings without the help of the ring gear is critical in order to prevent bearing failure. trust me, i have seen it happen.
@wayalife I had a simular problem in Montana, busted the pinon which locked up the rearend, we had to limp and back track with just the front axle since no one was avalible to tow got back to the tow vehicle and drug it back to L.A
@wayalife This is true. It just seemed like a lot o' work just to remove the ring gear on the trail. I love you're guys vids. Keep it up and come to CO!!!!
@kowz4u yeah, this was an event we had in moab. we're not really a club but just a group of people who all own JK's. you're more than welcome to join us on any run :)
@LilXJhank it's hard to say for sure or, at least to put it into exact numbers as we've gone through a lot of different stages along the way. in fact, the jk you see here isn't even as far as it is along now. if we had just done it once, it would be a lot less.
Hi folks was this an event or are you guys a club. looks like you like to have fun. I have a T.J. for a little more than a year.I have only taking it on the trails in the San Gabriels well they are closed now. that poor jeep that had a dif, problem. that must have been a real drag. nice vid. sweet 4x4's
the only music you can't use are those produced by warner brothers. some songs produced by companies like universal will prevent your videos from being seen on phones or other countries. but, aside from that, there are still a lot of tunes you can use :)
thanks for the quick reply! I am actually looking at the Trail Grapplers to go on my rig, how are they wearing? How many miles would you estimate a weekend warrior could get out of them?
Just wondering, why do a complete rear end tear down and refill w/ oil etc. on the trail only to tear it all down again to replace the R & P when you get back into town???
Hey I have a 97 grand cherokee, with 3" budget boost, some skyjacker shocks, and 31"s. Any Idea if i could go to MOAB or is it not worth it with my rig?
wayalife i know this may sound rude but. . . how much would you say is invested into your jk? i need to know so when i win the lottery ill know what to put aside lol. i love your rig man and im so jealous
Hahaha all of you are like old and I'm not talking ancient, but I mean how do you know there for tomorrow that is straight up like alternative teenager band.
@wayalife ive got an old mail mule im building up if you guys are ever up on the divide near butte montana shoot me an email, we've got a few jamborees and rallys up here you might be interested in.
I have been producing for many years and your videos are simply awesome!!!! Thank you so much for posting these for us all to enjoy.

i have a feeling it's gonna be a cold one this year. thanks for the heads up
yeah, we play hard with our jeeps and play often. it definitely takes it toll

it's amazing what u guys can fix out there like u said u did a drive shaft and the rear gear. i think it's amazing how u do it really
well, we may not be teens but we're not that old and we like current tunes :)

week before easter - we attend the easter jeep safari that goes on that week.
@kowz4u yeah, this was an event we had in moab. we're not really a club but just a group of people who all own JK's. you're more than welcome to join us on any run :)
in all fairness, we're not a club but rather, just a bunch of friends that like to go wheelin :)
PLEASE NOTE: youtube is still processing the video. once they are done, the quality will be in full HD :)
It's here on RUclips but unfortunately, it can only be seen with a computer as RUclips has blocked it from being viewed on mobile devices.
the video is still being processed. watch it again after the green bar at the top of the screen says it's done processing :)
@gregww101 sure, there are plenty of great trails that you can still do and have a great time
Depends on the run. For the most part, anyone is welcome but, if you're talking about something like the JK-Experience, you would need a JK for that.
Great series Eddie!
You and TrailBud both seem to have bad luck with rear R&P's :P
@MrXerjyo it continued on 2wd till we could get it back to town. there, it got a new ring gear installed
At the rate I'm going, maybe 45,000 good miles. But then, I put on a lot of off road miles on them.
@LilXJhank it's hard to say for sure or, at least to put it into exact numbers as we've gone through a lot of different stages along the way. in fact, the jk you see here isn't even as far as it is along now. if we had just done it once, it would be a lot less.
i want to go on a trial too....!!! it seems fun!!!
Love it!
@LittleofLife definitely a jeep thing :)
I need that jackstand/jack thing.
@mrgreengimp sure they are, we welcome anyone :)
took us a couple of hours.

Hey wayalife what kind of tires have you noticed that work well for the stuff you do and what tires dont work as well? Love the videos keep em coming!
@ursman777 your axle bearings still need lubrication.
the only music you can't use are those produced by warner brothers. some songs produced by companies like universal will prevent your videos from being seen on phones or other countries. but, aside from that, there are still a lot of tunes you can use :)
hes just that cool!
it's just a letter designation for this particular model
Great video! I want some info about the skid plate that I see at 5:47. Where is the muffler? Is it a 3.8L? I'm an italian JK owner ;)
thanks for the quick reply! I am actually looking at the Trail Grapplers to go on my rig, how are they wearing? How many miles would you estimate a weekend warrior could get out of them?

Really enjoy your videos. What kind of cameras do you usually use ? a go pro mounted on a jeep ?
Thank you
We just use an old Sony Handycam that we bought at Costco years ago.
does the white jeep continued with just 2 wheel drive????? or do you repair rear gearing???
Hey I have a 97 grand cherokee, with 3" budget boost, some skyjacker shocks, and 31"s. Any Idea if i could go to MOAB or is it not worth it with my rig?
Do you have to have a Jk to go out with yall or are all welcome?
wayalife i know this may sound rude but. . . how much would you say is invested into your jk? i need to know so when i win the lottery ill know what to put aside lol. i love your rig man and im so jealous
