    I sometimes wish there was more in standard tuning, I wanna learn math rock or some cool stoner rock riffs but the tunings make it a little troublesome. Can constantly changing tunings affect the guitar somehow?

      Changing the tuning frequently can mess up the setup and will kill your strings quicker, but unless you're doing some realllllly weird and out there tunings it shouldn't damage the guitar or anything

      You can still make a lot of great stuff in standard too, just makes a lot of the stretched chords and reaches for a lot of those augmented Melodies. Capos can help a lot, alt tunings are sm fun and I love them but if standard is your jam that’s totally cool! It works
