marcooconnor the Golf has a level of overall refinement that all the others have a hard time keeping up with. The Golfs have never been a bad looking car, they are just on a more mature level of style, not really flashy at all. Think that’s what he means by sheek

Eduardot12345556 they do well enough for their segment. But they would never sell as much as crossovers. If we could somehow convince people that lover center of gravity + a better hatch platform is better than most crossovers...at least I did my part. Hot hatch FTW.

It's absolutely beautiful. Easily the most striking of all the recent hot hatches. I want one!
I'd love to see a 3 door version of this! And i'm confident that the handling department will be well sorted out since it's Renault Sport who tuned this car and they're one of the best people setting up sporty cars.
Now I just hope that the next Clio RS will come with a manual transmission option.
Unfortunately I guess they will never go back to manual with the clio rs ;(

Get a secondhand 2011-2015 Megane RS... They are all Manuals and therefore "Real" Track cars.

They wouldn't sell because it's about the same price as a Camaro SS or a Mustang.
Plus I don't think Americans would be willing to buy brands like Renault

Ever since the early '90s the French have been afraid to return to the US market. The competition here is too fierce for them.
I do think that if they return, the Clio could beat the focus, though.

There is a sporty version of the dacia sandero in Brésil
Not sure it's road legal, but you can get a Duster with a Nissan GTR engine.

Awesome video! I currently drive a 2015 megane GT and can't wait another two years to get the RS! Working hard for it! Oh, and I do have a model of every car I have owned, so that model would really tick the box prior to me buying it ;) cheers lads!
The only thing i dont like about it (again) its that it has 5 doors instead of 3. Oh and those wheels.

Brody, they took a normal Mk2 Clio and stuck a 3 litre V6 in the back of the (then) tiny Clio, made it rear wheel drive and stuck massive intakes on the side of the car. That said it would be brilliant if they did something similar again or made the Renault Zoe e-sport a reality.

"Slush" boxes with everything nowadays, they where designed for strokes
Reason being they are not slush boxes anymore, the modern auto transmissions make the car quicker, more efficient and easier to drive than any manual transmission can.

Si ça ne te plait pas, retourne te palucher sur tes allemandes mais tu n'as pas le droit de dire que les voitures Françaises sont de la merde.
Et les moteurs diesels allemand sont bien pires que les Diesels Français. (Pour avoir eu une Golf, je parle en connaissance de cause)
ahh j'ai jamais dis que les voitures allemandes etait meilleures et de toute façon mettre un moteur diesel dans une toute petite voiture n'a aucun sens donc dans les deux cas je trouve sa stupide. Mais si tu veux des allemands au moins eux ils ont des modèles pour chaques categories de voitures de sport et sont tres competitif sur ces marché la. Je vois jamais de berlines sportive ou de supercars francaise, et encore moins competitive avec le marché actuel.
