Tsurumi was one of the best world quests I've experienced so far, cried so hard after finishing it.

Kanna Kapatcir using the Divine Nail to create the time loop makes sense, given Deshret used it for a similar purpose, as you said! I was wondering how the electro bird could manipulate time like that, but this theory makes sense in answering that. Hope we see the Divine Nail soon in some Inazuma expansion!
    Edit: Grammer

The ruins everywhere in Teyvat are from the Unified Civilization that existed before the arrival of the second who came. It’s in “Before Sun and Moon.” And that book was recently proven correct and reliable by Nahida’s second story quest with Apep.
This was before there were any archons or separate nations. They have a lot in common with Enkanomiya, which is their best-preserved state. Though Enkanomiya did still change their culture a bit after being cast down below. They also share wall murals of some king and celestia or the primordial one interacting, with the king’s people prospering as a result. After which some of them show the celestial nails coming down.
Khaenriah studied that original civilization, so there are ruin guards and other khaenrian machines in pretty much every place where these ruins exist.

Nail on Tsurumi was stealed by Khaenri`ahns, probably. There are many ruin guards on Dragonspine, Chasm and Tsurumi. Also some notes suggested that they was hunting for nails

This is great as usual, I had a good time !
Man Tsurumi questline was so depressing I still think about it, poor lil boy.

Something I have always thought was odd about the ruins under Amakumo Peak are the mechanisms we find down there. The red, yellow and blue buttons and corresponding gates are something we’ve never seen anywhere else in Teyvat so far.
We’ve never been given any information (or any dialogue about it at all for that matter) relating to the ruins under Seirai. I find it weird that there’s no documents or notes or anything related to who or what lived under island or when they had lived there. At least with the Pre-Thunderbird civilization, there’s implication that they lived there before Kapatcir came to Tsurumi.
I wonder if we’ll get any tip bits about it in the future. Or maybe we’ll see those mechanism again one day. Who knows.

It seems like some of ruin guard and sentinels being in some of these area most likely there for excavation or research purpose since the location they were at used to a very old civilitation.
