Awesome video. Looks like the build quality is great. Well, it appears to have well designed parts, minimal connectors, very few points that appear to be points of failure. Now we will have to see how well it stands up to the test of time, a few hard landing, and many many hours of flying! Yeah, I would consider taking a picture of the drone... top and bottom, then printing them out and using them to know where the screws went... but these days, also always take pictures and video as you disassemble as a reference. Thanks again!

Did you ever find or get an explanation about the ‘AddOn’ port that you mentioned in your Exciting Feature/PreSale video? I went back to watch that video again today, still a good video with some very accurate info including about delivery dates, to remind myself about what you had found out. I think it was the main reason I selected the Zino 2 and purchased during the presale. I know that things change, and sometimes a feature that they plan gets dropped on the floor for various reasons, but I am curious if you have heard anything more about it. Thanks again for the great info.
They say this is still a future thing and it is supposed to hook into the usb port but I have no clue if they are just blowing smoke or what. I was expecting a pin socket like the Fimi a3 has.

Tell me if you turn on the drone without the main board, the LEDs on the motors should turn on. ? I do not know how to understand what to change the main board or the power board.
Thank you very much, Chris, for doing this unearthing of the Zino 2, so we all can look at its inner circuitry... On my controller, got its mini-usb soldered back on the RF black colored board at a cell repair shop using a microscope successfully - the controller can be power charged now... and all the 5 connections of the mini USB are fine. The problem is the App still displaying "not connected", while I can still fly the quad with the controller - the quad SD light is red when controller OFF and solid green when bound with controller - but can not record FPV videos in the SD card and the gimbal is frozen, and of course, there is no remote FPV and cannot have access to any of the App parameters... I deleted the App and Download it again, but this did not fix the "not connected" issue. The cell cable is OK. Any idea what to do, or how to troubleshoot the controller??? Hubsan said that they will send a new controller when back in the office Feb 10, then said there are shipping issues with the coronavirus and have not answered any of my 2 emails since...
I think you still have hardware issues possibly caused by the original issue but keep pushing them for a new controller. They can ship it and just sent me a second Zino 2 this week with 3 day shipping from China so keep pushing.

There are also occasions where the x-hubsan 2 complained "USB disconnected" on its screen as red warning continuously, I lost FPV, but the "USB disconnected" voice didn't come out until I actually disconnect the cable, or turned off the remote controller.
