Definitely the 30,000 feet discussion. What you needed to do was drill down about 20,000 feet and show or, better yet, demonstrate HOW to change areas, how to customize settings in SLConfig etc. Just from the comments below you left a vast amount of folks hangin.......

Very good video, thanks! I purchased one about 2 weeks ago but am having one significant issue. Everything was easy to set up and the communication was a snap because I have a short distance and a powerful WiFi. I have an Easytouch system where my remote eggtimer board had gone bad so I decided to try the SL2 setup. My Easytouch panel displays all my info, such as the Intellichlor settings/readings. However, the Screenlogic software shows Intellichem, and "not" Intellchlor, which again, does show just fine on the panel on my Easytouch box. I guess I'll be calling the vendor I purchased from tomorrow...

Thank you for this video. Very helpful. I'm not sure how the egg timer works exactly. I said it for 15 minutes, but nothing happened. So how do you do the egg timer step-by-step?
Thanks for posting these videos. I love how clearly you explain things. One thing I was wondering if you could help with is how can I set 2 schedules for my pool motor. I want it to come on at 8AM to 9AM hour at 2600 RPM and then 9AM to 1PM at 2300 RPM. Is there an easy way to do that?
Yes, you can totally do that. You need to create a new function under settings, circuit functions, and pick an extra one there and label it. And then you go back to schedules and set the time for it. Then you would go into settings, and inteli flow pick your pump scroll down and go to speeds, then find that same new label to function and pick it and choose your rpm. If that doesn’t make sense, you can email me and I will email you back a video of my features and you can trace it to yours.

I am having problems with scheduling. I’ve tried from my iPhone and from the panel. I’ve reset everything. It shows the schedule in the app and at the panel, but it does not come on or shut off at the desired times!?! I’m so frustrated. This is year 4 and it’s worked until this season.
I want my Airbnb guests to be able to turn the hot tub/spa on and off obviously but I don’t want them to be able to change or access any other features.
The Screenlogic App gives access to turn the pool on and off as well as the heater. I don’t want guests trying to heat the pool. What is the workaround? Thanks!!
That’s a really good question Lucas. I did some digging, and I could not find any way within the app that you can limit such control. I could be wrong. For a workaround what I would suggest is that you install one of the easy four button wired, remotes to the easy, touch panel and just mount it on the side of that panel, and then a lock the main control box, then there are four buttons on there and you can program button number one to turn the spot on and off, button to turn the light on and off for the spa and also for the pool. And then I just wouldn’t use number four. That way it would limit them to turn the heater on, but it would only heat the spa and never heat the pool. And since you have a small lock on the major control panel, they won’t be in there fussing with anything. I know it’s an old fashion work around but it would work for her older gas that may struggle with installing an app and entering the username and password. I think with Airbnb the old fashion way is the best way.

I just recently noticed that if you download the same Pentair app on a tablet or even on your computer (Mac), the app looks different and has limited functions that could work for my guests. I might be wrong, I'm still learning. I even reached out to Pantair but they never got back to me. I can't imagine being the only one renting a house with a pool! :)
I am struggling to change the pool rpm for each scheduled time. Our pool guy said to run it during the day from 8-4 at 2100 rpm and then later in the evening lower. Is there a way to set that?
Great video- quick question- how do you change your password on the ScreenLogic system?
If you connect to your System on the all via the local config then no password will be required. Because it knows you are on your own home network. Then you can enter settings and change it for remote access. Connect via Local into Config. You can then set up a new password for Remote access.
hi, I purchased a home that has a pentair screen logic pool and spa. I forgot to ask the previous owner the password for the screen logic app. I have been able to operate the pool/spa and all of the functions just fine from the pentair screen logic app on my phone when in local mode. I am unable to use the app to control my pool in remote mode because it asks for a password.... which I do not know. Any suggestions? please Pentair Screenlogic

I can log in to the app under the Remote tab only. Not under the Local tab like you did with yours. Any ideas how to fix that?
