This was a great video. The installer from the pool company left it unconnected and told my wife that it was our network connection. After further inspection after work I returned from work and noticed the colored wires were not connected in the antenna. Couldn't believe it. This video helped me out in troubleshooting and after connecting the wires the interface connection linked up on the computer and the app displayed the same information. Once again, the video was awesome and thank you for posting. I will be subscribing!
It’s such a great read to know this video helped you properly set up your antenna and get your automation online so to enjoy your pool equipment and features. Thanks for watching and becoming a subscriber. Please share this out so that many other can also watch, learn and fix their systems. 👍🏼
Dude. Life saver. Thank you. Great video. Most instruction videos skip steps, go to fast, mumble, etc. thanks again! Got my pool up and running within minutes.
You are amazing! Thanks for doing it from start to finish w/o editing out all the crucial elements! Thats extrmely important. I was able to do what my pool technician couldnt just because of your video (they installed the wires incorrectly 🙃) but thanks again!
Thank you. My circuit was damaged by lightning (I am told). This is discontinued by Pentair (!!!) and it’s impossible to find a replacement panel. (If you know where I can buy one Let me know) Finally found one, but it doesn’t work the Spa mode (?!?!). If anybody has any idea Let me know. Lastly and most importantly, it doesn’t communicate with the wireless device (which is why I did the upgrade in the first place) In watching your video, I noticed that you mentioned that the antenna and the panel need to have same ID. How can I if I bought separate panel? And it is not sold these days as a kit with the antenna. How do I make it work with the antenna I have or how do I get an antenna to work with my new panel board? Very frustrated
Great video series! Thank you for taking the time to put them up. I have a question. Is there a way to have the actuators rotate before the pump gets turned on? How do you set the timing so that you can have the valves switched between the pool and spa before the pump kicks in? Thanks
Actuator valves are not designed to rotate before pump is on. This could cause air to be drawn into pump loading the prime. You can try selecting spa mode, but I don’t think it would function that way. There are no timer settings for actuator valves
Hey, I'm a pool guy. I had a client ask if they can do screen logic AND the wireless remote. Client has an AirBnB and want to access the system with thr ScreenLogic WiFi but want a remote at the house for clients. I know the EasyTouch can have both. Any info on connecting them both? They both go on the same Comm Port and use their respective Antenna? Appreciate your videos and any guidance.
Looks great. I have a question-- I have the same setup and I can hit the button to sent the signal to the inside transceiver and it all lights up. Everything connects up but only lets me use it remotely 1 or 2 times and then loses connection between the 2. I have called my guys a month ago and they are too busy to help me know. Could you please help me. Thank you Preston
Make sure your transceiver is in relative close proximity to the outside main panel. If not, you’ll have to add a signal booster for your wifi router. It’s possible it’s to far or a lot of walls in the way blocking the signal.
Try standing outside next to the main panel with your smart phone in hand and check your wifi signal strength next to your panel. If the wifi signal strength is weak on your phone it will be weak for the transceiver and the box will lose the connection.
My house had a very old Pentair system .. replaced everything to the latest/greatest. The new control board (with the mobile app capability) included. I noticed the installer connected the new control board to the old one - is that normal? It looks weird.
Do you happen to know if there is an issue connecting through Starlink Wifi to the Intellitouch? I contacted Pentair and was unable to figure it out with them.
Please ensure your wifi broadcast signal from the router is 2.4ghz fixed coming out The wifi can not be 5.0ghz because these systems only operate in 2.4ghz. Most routers have two options for signal and each option has a specific password, be sure to use the 2.4ghz. If you tried to set it up with the 5.0, wipe the credentials clean and start over. Also ensure the wifi signal strength is at the strongest possible. If you stand at the outside automation panel where the antenna is located and the wifi signal strength is one bar, you’ll need to install a wifi booster to your network to enhance the strength. It’s important to have all three bars of wifi reaching the antenna.
Great video, helped us a lot. Question, we don't know the password and the app on one of our phones lost the profile for the remote connection. We need the password to set it up. Is there any way to reset the password?
excellent videos 1 to 4 but I got a bit lost on the connection of the wall antena to the control board. do you connect it to the screenlogic interface protocol adapter or directly to the Easy touch board? i need some help with that part wold you please help me with that thank you
Protocol adapter gets wired to your WiFi router. The antenna gets wired to easytouch board. Once this is completed then at the EasyTouch panel, go through settings and search for WiFi connection
I'm kinda new to all this can you tell me if you dont mind how much all that stuff cost just a ball park with labor so I no what i'm getting into thanks bro I do appreciate it
You may have to delete the info stored on the app that was programmed for the other network and relearn the new network to the app. Delete the profile if you can. Remember that you’ll have to have the transceiver numbers handy. If this doesn’t work then you’ll have to start from scratch. With the new network already working and wifi signal present you’ll have to relearn the panel to the network. Outside at the panel inside the menu options there is a section where it’s stated to send the signal from the panel to the transceiver (in one of the episodes relating to the easy touch series i describe this process). It’s like staring all over again. You have to have the panel and transceiver connected to the network first before setting up the app.
@@EliteSwimmingPoolsTV I found a issue with the inside antenna, seem if the wiring was moved the lights would go crazy. I also installed a long network patch cable to 36” and played with the wires and it settled down and connect to the panel. Do figure

Thanks for these videos. Do you have a video on installing a screenlogic on an easytouch 8?
Thanks for watching. At this time I do not have a video of what your needing.
It’s the same process the easytouch 8 is just a panel capable of 8 equipment function capabilities

I bought my house and only had the antenna. Can I buy the other item that connects to the inside the house?
Nice job on the videos. I’m installing an Intellichem and then an EasyTouch system, so wish me luck, cheers
Thanks for watching, Good Luck

I don’t believe a password is needed unless you saved one. For best answer to this question you could contact manufacture tech support.
TY! This was sooo helpful!

Super helpful. Thank you!
Great help! What was the password you entered?
Nunya

Maybe around $5,000 -$6000

Lol. No 👎🏼

Where is the attenna?

Thanks for the input

Those 4 relays where just in the way
Nice
Thanks
How do you know what the password is???
Not sure which password your referring to, but it’s either written on the transponder box or it’s straight 0’s.
@@EliteSwimmingPoolsTV Right, but how many though? Y'know so someone like me, who works in installing these, can actually set one up.
Cant hear you with volume up.
