Hello how do I add solar to my Pentair pool system ?

What if the 'like magic' step doesn't happen? We have a router from our provider and a mesh network plugged into the router. Have tried plugging the controller into both and we're still waiting for the 'magic'. Thanks!

I am struggling to change the pool rpm for each scheduled time. Our pool guy said to run it during the day from 8-4 at 2100 rpm and then later in the evening lower. Is there a way to set that?

This is a really good video. A good part two of this would be how to upgrade from let’s say a single speed whisperflo to a whisperflo vst. From my understanding the vst will always require power. The single speed will be wired to a relay. Then installing the signal cable ect…

I can’t get mine to connect. The little light is red and I’ve tried unplugging it but as soon as I plug the power back in the light turns back on red. I’ve tried resetting using the reset button seems to do nothing. Please any suggestions?

Thanks for the nice video. Ques - I have a Pentair with Intellitouch panel inside the house that mirrors the outside panel. How do I know this is compatible? I asked a pool guy who says installing this is $1700. I checked and it looks like it is stupid simple with Amazon selling the antenna + board and housing for $750. If you add a surge protector it is maybe $800 tops. So I'm trying to find out if I can just buy the equipment myself and have him install it for the professional setup. So how do I know this is compatible with my system?

hi, I purchased a home that has a pentair screen logic pool and spa. I forgot to ask the previous owner the password for the screen logic app. I have been able to operate the pool/spa and all of the functions just fine from the pentair screen logic app on my phone when in local mode. I am unable to use the app to control my pool in remote mode because it asks for a password.... which I do not know. Any suggestions? please Pentair Screenlogic

I am having problems with scheduling. I’ve tried from my iPhone and from the panel. I’ve reset everything. It shows the schedule in the app and at the panel, but it does not come on or shut off at the desired times!?! I’m so frustrated. This is year 4 and it’s worked until this season.

Very good video, thanks! I purchased one about 2 weeks ago but am having one significant issue. Everything was easy to set up and the communication was a snap because I have a short distance and a powerful WiFi. I have an Easytouch system where my remote eggtimer board had gone bad so I decided to try the SL2 setup. My Easytouch panel displays all my info, such as the Intellichlor settings/readings. However, the Screenlogic software shows Intellichem, and "not" Intellchlor, which again, does show just fine on the panel on my Easytouch box. I guess I'll be calling the vendor I purchased from tomorrow...

Does this work with the i5 easy touch. the one without a screen.

Pentair is the leading pool company for several reasons ease of automated and wireless control is definitely one and they do have superior equipment on average.But if you go beyond the surface and break the water tension and dive deeper into why its because they were the 1st to partner with energy star and governmental EPA program all about pushing the green new deal scam and climate sustainability agenda. They are a "woke" "inclusive " company that works with and has members in the world economic forum(huge group of globalist dystopian elite business owners who lobby and run the show for private rich interests who get free public tax money and subsidies to push their power grab transhumanist agenda) so sorry yall the worlds a business and the product ro be used and dusposed of at the businesses discretion IS YOU!

The main reason to run your pool longer is to keep it cleaner so it really just depends on the pools bather load(frequency and quantity of swimmers)/ and organic load(amount and frequency of biological debris entering the pool). Dogs and critters like birds in the pool will definitely throw off and use up the chemicals much faster pound per pound than people. Rule of thumb is one dog in the pool is like having 3-10 swimmers in a pool. Ive serviced pet spa pools before and believe me trying to dial the chemicals in and keep the ballanced in a shallow pool full of dogs is a nightmare and requires far more work and attention to chemistry than a pool for people.

One secret most people dont know is an obvious chemistry one. Like any solution that has different soluable compunds in it the more frequently and quickly it circulates the faster things will dissolve/mix and be used up. So running your pool at lower speeds durings the day and higher at night will definitely save you chemical costs and prolong your chlorine retention aswell as create a more stable environment for less fluctuations in range chemistry meaning your pool chemicals will be more stable, predictable and evaporate slower.

As a pool technician this may be fun for a little while but I can garuntee you it wont last if you leave it in your pool and use it frequently. Exposed wires are always a hazard especially in water. Most of these kind of things are just cheap gimmicks that Americans love to waste money on. But you guys can waste money on whatever you like right cause its yo mula not mine.

There is no easy break down of pool costs every pool is unique and climate and location varies drastically but you can get a ball park estimate.

In short owning a pool is a money hole that never ends so dont buy a house with a pool thinking its better than one without or will automatically add value to your home being a better investment. Also most pool sercice guys dont really know what theyre doing and will cost you alot more money that way and be slowly but surely damaging your pool with improper maintenance education. If you own a pool take the time to understand pool chemistry and your equipment because the service guy only comes so often and youll need to know what to do in several situations they cant come that could cost you a ton of money if not!

A quick question. If I have ethernet cable close to my Easytouch panel, can I connect the Screenlogical interface protocol adapter directly on COM port of Easytouch panel and avoid these two antennas (outdoor and Indoor)?

Again, thanks for doing this. It's super straight forward but I still can't get it to work. My display times-out so quickly that I can't keep track of where I am in the process. If I rush I ALWAYS hit the wrong button and get kicked out of the menu structure. I'm an idiot.

Thanks so much for taking the time to do this. I think my actual request was how to do this 2nd schedule at a different speed. 12 hours at 3450rpm and 12 hours at ~1800rpm.

Bummer, I thought this was a tutorial on how to add a second schedule to a single (variable speed) pump. Mine runs 12 hours at full speed and is shut down for 12 hours. I'd like to have it run full speed for 6 hours and run half speed for the remaining 18 hours. Might not be possible.
