The changes from buying already made superstars like modric, bale, kroos, Ronaldo and switching to players like vini Jr who was an unknown talent etc this has to be the smartest move compared to barca who still seem to be trying to buy experienced superstars and it doesn't work all the time
Madrid's best strategy is they keep winning stuff. While teams like liverpool can be defined by magical moments like Istanbul, kids who were watching at that time might become fan of the liverpool. But by winning every year, the chance that the kid that will become the next football superstar is watching, and want to play for madrid someday, is bigger.
Real madrid are incredible bc they trust their old generation, madrids team has barely changed since like 2016 but its because madrid know who theyre signing and those players always have longevity , the same will happen with the new gen, tchouameni, camavinga, vini, rodrygo, valverde
Its not that their transfer strategy is unique, buying young top talents is what many clubs do, but what actually makes Real Madrid so great and get the best talent is the simple fact that every player in the world, wether its a 16 year old in the academy or an established player, everyone wants to play for Real Madrid, they have it seeded in everyones minds that their dream is to play for them. So its that simple, when you have everyone in the world new and old wanting to play for you, you essentially have the world as your factory and you can pick and choose who you want, in this case they’re choosing young talent that has the prospects of becoming world class, good scouting to find those players is all you need, but the real impact is that everyone dream to play their, it makes it simple to bring players in
yea almost like, almost every rumour madrid has a interest with a player, or a promising young talent, that player almost always end up try to get out, or said they want to play in madrid lol, and i loved it
Real Madrid are simply a proper run football club they invest really well in getting the best young players in the world and run their club very well. Chelsea need to learn a thing or 2 on this and with how Real Madrid run their club, PSG need note taking on this and learn that making actual footballing decisions will contribute to having long term success in the champions league.
My god can you imagine a midfield of Tchouaméni, Valverde and Bellingham that will last at least a decade (and a half perhaps). And then you still have Camavinga who can either play as a back or just slide into that midfield whenever you need..
I love our current young core as well as the old guard. Although lately not as much, Carvajal frustrates me. Especially in La Liga. But aside from that and Militao losing focus in La Liga games not many complaints. The team is amazing and only getting better. We definitely need a right back and striker signing next season but everything else looks taken care of.
Tchuameni is 80 million but that money came from selling Casemiro to United for more money when his cost was 15 million and after winning 5 Champions League, Tchuameni will be massive he just arrived
I mean they got Camavinga for only 40 M while City bought Grealish for 100 M and even worse that Chelsea bought Enzo for 125 M 😂😂😂😂. This is definitely a shrewd recruiting strategy, when the rest of the world is building their own version of Galacticos which ended up with a bloated squad, Madrid has literally abandoned them. I can say even their veterans are still performing so well Carvajal, Vasquez and Nacho are still performing like they are in their 20s now that’s a true miracle works.
@@jonathangasana Well actually City spend more money in the last transfer window alone they brought in Kalvin Phillips, Haaland, Akanji, Ortega, Alvarez and others for crazy amount of money . Bale was not a failure at all he more than repaid his costs and fees by DIRECTLY winning them 2 champions leagues by scoring winning goals that decided those two finals. Ungrateful club. Against Athletico and Liverpool finals.
If you follow Bale week in week out you’ll also be frustrated with the player. His contribution in the finals will always be in history but in the leagues he was few and far between, often lacking drive and commitment. The only great overall season of his is only 2014-15, his first season. He was capable of so much more, despite his achievements.
@@langletprolet8378 He has been injured a lot but the games he played in he played well especially the finals and Champions League. @@mohamb3785d It’s sad because 2014 version of Bale is one of my favorite players ever. But ever since theres just a lot of disappointments, particularly on the pitch when he got the chance. Their focus on young talent is exceptional, but best believe if your club's best players never explicitly say they want to stay at their current club for a long time, they would still leave if Madrid came knocking.
I always wanted a top class team that could purchase young stars that don't have to sell after a couple of years because of financial reasons like Dortmund, Monaco or similar clubs... Real Madrid can afford to purchase 6 50+mn prospects, to wait until 3 of them succeed and sell the other 3. That's a $300mn investment in return of 3 100+ worth superstars and 3 players that could be sold for similar value than they bought them. A very, very smart move. They also did that again with Fran Garcia (23 years old), Arda Guller (18 years old), and secured the brazilian pearl Endrick (16 years old) Look at them now. The only top-10 team with a positive balance in the last 10 years and a team with Vini, Rodrygo, Bellingham, Camavinga, Tchouameni, Valverde, Brahim, Arda Guller (all
I’d even argue Brighton is better. All the young talent Madrid have ever signed were chased by every big club except maybe Valverde who was still on many team’s radars. Brighton buy under the radar youngsters
Yep, Jude is a proper player to relay the torch from Luka modric. With Modric extent his stay for another season, is also a great move for the transition with Jude
The wasted contracts to Bale in 2018 and Hazard in 2019 really hurt Madrid's chances to keep signing established stars. Once Hazard leaves, I think it'll be possible to see either Mbappe or Haaland join or perhaps even both. If there's a team that can make that happen it's Real Madrid.
Honestly yes Bale ran down his contract in the last seasons but you cannot call his time at Madrid a failure, he is a multi champions league winner and has won countless trophies for the club and will go down an all time great so out some respect on the name but it is true he ran down his contract
The renovations of the Bernabeu were funded by a loan which will be paid off by their partnership with Legends. The legends deal is a guaranteed €400m a year. Madrid has money to spend on galacticos but want to do so only for the right galactico. By doing so they’ve kept themselves from multiple failed big signings with a wage bill that could cripple the club as Barca have.
Real Madrid is the full package. In City or in PSG you have players like Verratti, Neymar, Mbappe, Bernardo Silva or Gundogan who want to leave, and they are not allowed. In Real Madrid is the other way around, you have players who should leave because they don´t play but they want to stay, and why is that: Terrific climate from september to June. Best club history in the world. The same values from the president to the cleaning staff. A club owned by 85.000 members and not by a millionaire or a dictator. Perfect food. And the door open to everybody who wants to leave because R.M only wants you to stay if you are committed with the targets for the club.
That's crazy in the market in this day and age, Real Madrid got Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Valverde, Camavinga and Bellingham for just €250 million. There team is going to be unstoppable fr. Vinicius Jr, Endrick, Rodrygo, Valverde, Camavinga, Tchuameni, Bellingham, Brahim Diaz, Militao all really young and some of the best players in there positions imagine they get the likes of Mbappe too 😳
Bale is not a failed transfer in Madrids history, he was so successful to the point were he is considered a legend. You can't put Bale and Hazard in the same category when talking about performances at Madrid.
I believe the strategy here is to sign young players of the same age group to grow old and reach their prime together, same as what happened during the (kroos, modric, ronaldo, benzema, ramos, casemiro) era. And using some old experienced low profile players to provide some xp
Real Madrid is a direct result of the capacity of their directors to look forward, starting with Santiago Bernabéu with the stadium in rumbles and no players against the Franco Regimen , asking directly to the people for money to build an stadium after the Spanish civil war in a location that at that time was out of the city , that brought the likes of DiEstefano , Puskas, etc , Them Florentino with the Galácticos and taking away the Spanish flag form the uniform , globalizing the brand and using images rights to bring more money, to the capacity to adapt in a time against club states that are back up by petrodollars or even the Chinese super league and the inflated premier league ( don’t understand how a league can be affordable with teams losing money, probable inflation), and after all that and looking at Real Madrid with a new rebuild stadium , young players , continue wining , looking at others at the Spanish league broken economically like Barca and Athetico de Madrid. All that Madrid continues to win even today that we know that Barcelona paid for 20 years to the second of the referees in order to “secure neutrality “ an explanation only accepted by sideblinded Barca fans.
The problem for Madrid now is that La liga has become a two team league. Before when there was a strong Valencia, Deportivo etc I used to love the La liga. Now it's the most boring league of the top 5 leagues besides the French league.
The risk of buying young players is very high example Reiner and Endrick that play like an very average player, Barcelona made that mistake with Halilovic, people do not understand how hard it is to find a world class player with a real potential of being a super star, real madrid had taken huge risk that has paid off. As a Barcelona fan this makes me jealous because when i started cheering for Barcelona most of their players came from La Masia and that Barça DNA made me love the club, but then they wanted to create a galatico team with ridiculous transfer fees like Coutihno, Grizmann, Dembele, ect.. now we see the huge crisis Barcelona is in, 😢 Congrats to Real Madrid and their scouts
Bale is most definitely not a failure. People just look at his final seasons, but he’s top 3 greatest right winger in Madrid’s history. That says a lot considering it’s Madrid.
Imagine once they have fully integrated Bellingham and he matures a little bit learning that he has not got to do everything in the midfield....Valverde, vinicius Junior, Bellingham, Tchouameni...there will be so much power, technique, creativity and dynamic on the pitch and these boys are all at around the same age. Get ready for another few CL titles for Real Madrid.
No they need rely LA Masia more instead of buying galaticos who don't do well at the club look how Xavi has provided a lever to the academy players when other managers that hadn't had barca DNA wouldn't difference between Barcelona and Real Madrid rl Barca should be the smartest club bc of how they develop their players and get them to the first team but barca went through awful owners

Madrid fans can be toxic though, they booed club legends like Bale, had a terrible farewell for Casillas, etc…
@@jasonschafer4723 Yes, there are toxic fans everywhere. However, Casilla's case was special because most of us fans were very angry with the club with how we left. Bale had some moments when the relationship with the fans was not good, but I think he's probably one of the exceptions for the last few years.
@@davidzhan Its gotta be said that Madrid went to LA for a training camp/friendly shortly after Bale joined the LA side, and Bale met up with his team mates, coaches and other club staff voluntarily, it didnt end great, but he was a fantastic club servant and was well loved behind the scenes

Very well done! I appreciate the mention of Juni. Although, one small point that should be remembered is that this policy started with Ødegaard.

Bale didn’t play munch at the end of the season but he definitely wasn’t a bust he’s the most decorated English player
He is NOT English.
Bale is Welsh.
He’s not English 🤡
**sigh** he's British, my friend, not English.
So its that simple, when you have everyone in the world new and old wanting to play for you, you essentially have the world as your factory and you can pick and choose who you want, in this case they’re choosing young talent that has the prospects of becoming world class, good scouting to find those players is all you need, but the real impact is that everyone dream to play their, it makes it simple to bring players in
Their philosophy is more a technical players
Madrid pull is unmatched.
yea almost like, almost every rumour madrid has a interest with a player, or a promising young talent, that player almost always end up try to get out, or said they want to play in madrid lol, and i loved it

Real Madrid are simply a proper run football club they invest really well in getting the best young players in the world and run their club very well. @@jesterbeats2898 Chelsea has a very good youth system but they don't know how to use it
My god can you imagine a midfield of Tchouaméni, Valverde and Bellingham that will last at least a decade (and a half perhaps). And then you still have Camavinga who can either play as a back or just slide into that midfield whenever you need..
BALE IS NOT A BAD SIGNING!!
You don't have to disrespect Casimero like this. he was part of the reason why real Madrid dominated Europe.
Best thing Grandpa Carvajal did last week was mess with Grealish.
Camavinga costed 35 M Euros.😅
Grealish is good though, overpriced but still good.
They also bought tchaumeni for 80 mill + 20 mill in add ons, while city bought haaland, alvarez and akanji for a combined price of 80 mill....
City got Haaland and Alvarez for less than Madrid got Tcuomeni for. And lol 4-0 🤡
@@jonathangasana Well actually City spend more money in the last transfer window alone they brought in Kalvin Phillips, Haaland, Akanji, Ortega, Alvarez and others for crazy amount of money . While in the last 2 transfer windows Madrid only brought in Tchoua, Cama and Rudiger and one of them is a free transfer. Try again cheater, I hope FA charge you. Well it seems to be possible since their accusation deemed valid 🤣🤣🤣
Juni calafat was the one who made the signing of odegaard. This signing was what initiated the new signing policy on real madrid.
I agree some of the things he’s done made some fans angry like taking a nap on bench but can’t be labeled a failure at all but it’s also that he was disappointed because little playing time last couple of years.
@@mohamb3785d It’s sad because 2014 version of Bale is one of my favorite players ever. But ever since theres just a lot of disappointments, particularly on the pitch when he got the chance. I don’t care much about off the pitch antics as long as you perform week in week out. His iconic goals in the finals including CdR will always make him club legend though. He’s definitely not a failure but not a complete success either.

They also did that again with Fran Garcia (23 years old), Arda Guller (18 years old), and secured the brazilian pearl Endrick (16 years old)
Look at them now. The only top-10 team with a positive balance in the last 10 years and a team with Vini, Rodrygo, Bellingham, Camavinga, Tchouameni, Valverde, Brahim, Arda Guller (all
Agreed I also think Brighton are up there with smartest clubs in Europe
Brentford too tbf
Real are the smartest of the big clubs. There are plenty of clever smaller clubs, though.
Man city up there
I’d even argue Brighton is better. All the young talent Madrid have ever signed were chased by every big club except maybe Valverde who was still on many team’s radars. Brighton buy under the radar youngsters

Only someone who doesn’t watch football would ever come close to saying bale was a waste of money
It also aid that almost all South American players dream of a Real Madrid move

It's not all that nice, the league has become boring. And Real have always been favored by the state anyway, so you don't need a dictator.
That's crazy in the market in this day and age, Real Madrid got Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Valverde, Camavinga and Bellingham for just €250 million. There team is going to be unstoppable fr. Vinicius Jr, Endrick, Rodrygo, Valverde, Camavinga, Tchuameni, Bellingham, Brahim Diaz, Militao all really young and some of the best players in there positions imagine they get the likes of Mbappe too 😳
I remember when united where spoken about in these conversations
Bale is not a failed transfer in Madrids history, he was so successful to the point were he is considered a legend. You can't put Bale and Hazard in the same category when talking about performances at Madrid.
3:53 "in 19 90 1000th"😂😂
Bale isn’t a failure
Real Madrid has became more of a possession based team from pre season to now ever since Benzema left.
they are very lucky their established players have been so good at such an old age. that's why they can afford to make one massive signing per season
Bale is one of the greatest signings ever
I believe the strategy here is to sign young players of the same age group to grow old and reach their prime together, same as what happened during the (kroos, modric, ronaldo, benzema, ramos, casemiro) era.
And using some old experienced low profile players to provide some xp
Fede was a steal
Bellingham is already a galactico ngl
Create breakdown. I totally agree.
Barca hasnt payed the referees you fool
The risk of buying young players is very high example Reiner and Endrick that play like an very average player, Barcelona made that mistake with Halilovic, people do not understand how hard it is to find a world class player with a real potential of being a super star, real madrid had taken huge risk that has paid off. As a Barcelona fan this makes me jealous because when i started cheering for Barcelona most of their players came from La Masia and that Barça DNA made me love the club, but then they wanted to create a galatico team with ridiculous transfer fees like Coutihno, Grizmann, Dembele, ect.. now we see the huge crisis Barcelona is in, 😢
Congrats to Real Madrid and their scouts
Bale is a legend
"the modric and kroos that has dominated" it was only casemiro leave that madrid lost
Who’s here after Real Madrid lost 4-0 to Man City

Bale is most definitely not a failure. People just look at his final seasons, but he’s top 3 greatest right winger in Madrid’s history. That says a lot considering it’s Madrid.
This is a proper montage!
Got outplayed badly by Man City🙄
😅
Imagine once they have fully integrated Bellingham and he matures a little bit learning that he has not got to do everything in the midfield....Valverde, vinicius Junior, Bellingham, Tchouameni...there will be so much power, technique, creativity and dynamic on the pitch and these boys are all at around the same age. Get ready for another few CL titles for Real Madrid.
CL is done, next to come is Superliga.
Their diversity is why they are so great. Barca’s Spanish bias is why they will never be bigger than Real Madrid.
