I went to Hiroshima, Japan and saw the Hiroshima Carp take on the Tokyo Yakult Swallows on August 21, 2019. Here's what it was like!

I have not been to a Carp game since the late '70s, but It still is exciting! One of my memorable times while attending a game In Hiroshima was seeing the Cincinnati Reds play a combined Hiroshima Carp/Tokyo Giants team on November 15, 1978. The Reds were on a 17-game tour of Japan that year.

Love this video. Thanks for sharing. I'll be in Hiroshima in about a week to watch a game. Super excited about it. Love the beers you were able to bring into the game. Hope they still do that.

Don't be a drunk idiot like him where he's too wasted to find the fried chicken bowl places so he settles for gross ass day old takoyaki. Outside the stadium you can find a beer-slushie and bring that in a cup with dignity instead to enjoy for the start of the game instead of chugging two overpriced tall boys. And if you're going to get drunk at least let the keg girls do that for you for $6usd per cup toward the 4th and 5th and later innings instead of showing up drunk like an idiot
