Definitely going to add one of these to the bike, especially since I see that it has the gear indicator. Also I ended up changing my SL7 Emonda for the SLR 7. Because it would have been too much of a hassle to upgrade it later.

I hear you on the SLR initial upgrade. I got a good deal on my Frameset so the whole build worked out for me. Plus I got exactly what I wanted in every component.

Does the Garmin computer communicate with the duotrap S Sensor?

YES! I always liked Treks frame mounted sensors. If it projects a Signal of Ant+ or Bluetooth you’ll be good.
