Why don't you use the case which comes with the Testo 550?
I am a bit concerned about the hose length. Some bigger rooftop units you need to reach the service ports and to keep the cover closed.

A, i can remove the 550BT in a flash and install longer hoses. B, i can close the cover and use blue tooth connectivity. c, i work on residential.
