My boss has one of those blue drivers and he loves it. I wasn't too sure about it until I saw it featured in your videos. First thing I do when I get home is make dinner and eat in front of the computer watching your videos. Don't ever stop!

@Tom Nelson I really do love fixing up on cars and I am starting to realize now that id rather have my own business, working my own hours rather than punching someone else's clock. Thank you so much for the information because I would really love to venture out into these different programs. Youve helped me realize what I want to be when I grow up as well. Ive always wanted a nice scan tool for my own personal vehicle and my family's. Could never afford a top of the line one but didn't want a cheap one either. That Blue Driver seems like it would be a good option for somebody like me.

I tried one of the first OBD scanners on my 2003 Saturn Vue and was thrilled... until the company changed everything and their "lifetime guarantee" was pointed out to be "the lifetime as-long-as-we-say-it-is guarantee." I'm really going to check out the Blue Driver because God knows, with the GM BCM on a Saturn (I now have an 07) you need something better than killing a chicken at midnight under a full moon... though the chicken thing IS pretty reliable.

Never buy anything from Aliexpress. Most, if not all of that stuff is cheap, Chinese junk that's 'trying' to be blue driver. Why would you not support the Canadian company directly since they coded, developed, and update the Damn thing? I'd rather pay the $99 dollars to receive the actual product than only pay three dollars to get a Chinese knock off that doesn't even work.
B No you are completely wrong. I legit just went to Aliexpress and searched for blue driver. All that came up was cheap Chinese crap and not even what I was searching for. I doubt them cheap Chinese ones have as much functionality as the blue driver has. I'd much rather support the company directly than buy a cheap knockoff that doesn't work.
B Nah, keep that knock off Chinese stuff. Just because BlueDriver is made of electronics from China, does not mean it functions the same as that one. Get a life and do some research. My brother-in-law bought that same exact one and it can't do half the stuff that BlueDriver can. 🤷♀️

Tip: If you have a OBD2 Bluetooth adapter, buy the Torque Pro app. It might seem "light," but if you select graphing and look over the real-time dataset, there's a lot you can do with it. Another adapter I can sort-of recommend if you own a BMW, Lexus etc is the Carista adapter, because it allows you to customize accessory functions, reprogram TPMS sensors (if you know the sensor ID) etc., although the Carista software has a rolling fee after one month.

BlueDriver has limited functionality for non-North American VINs. I hope they'll expand the support for the European market in the future.

I have one because of him. I love it. You won't regret it. Plus, anyone in your family would appreciate it as well.
Get it if you can. I've had it for about a year and a half and I love it. It can read any type of code from engine to transmission to abs codes, it has live data, it has mode 6 data to tell you if a particular sensor or cylinder is functioning within preset parameters from the computer. Heck, it will even give you suggested fixes for trouble codes. Helps narrow down the problem and it's usually one of the top three suggestions.
