Yes to the hot French Flower Man!
He's only about 18 or 19 ffs. Control yourself
@@RockDove5212 go get him he's ready for u the french men are always ready
Surely you mean "Oui"
It's always fun to look......
You go girl!!! 😂
Watching Hanzel strutting his teenage masculinity was the best thing so far this Spring!
Philip is a treasure
Maria's cooking is always so beautiful
Stephanie and Philip’s bantering was so cute. What chateau in France doesn’t need a boar or an Ostrich 😅
l'd have bought the crazy fox/squirrel "lamp" and put it in a kids' playroom!
Flower man must become a regular!
I think you'll find the "cake tin" is actually for moulding chocolate
Or butter!
Correct! But i suppose one could use them for icecream or ice, mousse, paté or aspic.
Cake needs space to rise and needs testing, very difficult to get the right amount of batter right and see when it's done.
They were chocolate molds!
I was thinking it was a jello mold (or jelly mold in the UK).
All the better 😉
Oh my, Jean Batiste is so handsome! No wonder he has sold out of flowers every week!
I’d love to see Dan’s reaction to the wild boar in his woods 😅
Me too, that would have been a fun video!😂
“That’s weird, that’s a niche problem” 😂
I love the idea of you buying the boar to scare the heck out of Dan. It would be epic. 🤣🤣🤣
You should plan tours from the château and include the flower farm and the cheese factories in them. Sounds like lots of fun
This is a marvellous suggestion! I hope Stephanie sees your comment. Xxx
And the boulangeries...
John Baptiste is so handsome!
It’s nice to see some old types of flowers that are not warehouse raised. So many in America have lost their beautiful sets. 😮
Need to see more trips to the Flower Guy! He has amazing flowers!❤
Every visit to LaLande leaves me SMILING! Thank you Stephanie and Phillip! 😊
Isn’t it a thrill when you realize you’ve got a great bargain?
The Chateau de Chambord is the most beautiful fairytale castle! I visited once and would love to go back! It’s just breathtaking!
OMG -he is gorgeous!
The Flower man
That was exciting to see little Hansel show us his feathers! ❤
I’m liking your sunglasses Stephanie 20:46 , along with the cute conversations! ❤
Maria's food is incredible!!!!.........................................
In the US most of the flowers sold come from S America. So many flower farms went out years ago. Small flower farms are beginning to be a thing again which is nice to see. I’m glad to hear people in France are appreciating locally grown too.
Philip should have said the animal light was for a Summer Garden party 😆
John is just as adorable as his flowers! lol! I do look forward to you going back to show us the inside of that chateau, it's beautiful. Very fun trip!
There is a precious dove who made a nest on the short trees on my front porch. Now I only enter or exit my house through the garage until her babies are hatched and grown. The tins must be in tribute to her and her courage.
Stephanie, Despite what Phillip says and thinks the bird mold are the same type of molds my father used when he had his chocolate business years ago. Oh and they were solid chocolate and not hollow as they make them today. They reminded me of how wonderful the house smelled and how good the chocolate tasted. Easter and Christmas was the best ! His business was in the basement of our home. I do believe that is why I have such a craving for sweets to this day! lol Great find. Sorry Phillip.
like the easter rabbits. do it for easter next year
Such a fun vlog, flowers and brocanting, two of my favourites. Stephanie and Phillip's enthusiastic happiness runs off on us all.
I just love how you and Phillip banter but you compliment each other happy happy for you as always a pleasure to watch ❤🎉❤😂😊
Abby Cox or Bernadette Banner (if they are watching) are screaming - BUY the fashion plate books. What a find!
I am so excited! I am an American, & a few years ago, on a lazy Saturday morning, I discovered this show (on our local PBS channel: public broadcasting station) Renovating a French Chateau w Dick & Angel Strawbridge which I immediately fell in LOVE with. I had no idea that "regular" everyday people could purchase castles!! Lol Then sadly, they ended the series. So, I then dived into RUclips to see if others filmed their experiences & low & behold, 1st person who popped up in my search (thank god!!) was your channel!! Well, I just have to tell you how much I ❤️ ❤❤ watching your videos every week. And, I don't know if your have the streaming service Peacock in France...but I just discovered a show on that service called, Chateau DIY & who do I find on those episodes?!?!?! Not only Dick & Angel Strawbridge giving other Pats advice on their own French Chateaus, but La Lande & Stephanie building her Mother's bedroom!!! I see that you & your Chateau are in several other episodes & seasons of Chateau DIY!! I'm so excited to get to watch even more of you & your family & friends & your lovely La Lande!!! ❤❤❤
Chambord! I had a very close friend in charge of the presidential hunts (Chambord being, with the chateau de Rambouillet, a presidential hunting domain by republican law), spent many weekends eating wild boar and dear (they have to control the populations) or fish from the 16th century artificial ponds dug in in the forests. And the wild mushrooms, and the local wines (extraordinary Cheverny) and the asparagus and the strawberries cultivated on the sandy banks near the Loire river. A fabulous domain and castle to visit.
And dear Stephanie, the horse in the stables belongs to the Garde Républicaine, which in Paris are the state horseguards and in Chambord replace the usual gendarmes. but they still own a few motor powered vehicles 😀
😍What an amazing experience!!
The flower garden is stunning. The chateau is enormous, yes please go back. The brocante was incredible. Great scores at the brocante. I was worried it would rain, that sky looked very ominous.
Marie's culinary work is amazing. Her presentations and menus rank high in my book.
I can't wait to see the swan cake.
Thank you for taking us along to the brocante and flower farm.❤
Hoorah! I even like the added determined Persian...
James Buchanan the 15th President of the United States had that same porcelain, you mentioned as "Lilly of the Valley's." He purchased it in France when he was there as an ambassador for the U.S. I was surprised to see it at this Brocante! Great job on restraining yourselves from purchasing. I don't know if I could have, as there were so many beautiful things!
You need a collapsable wagon for these type of excursions….I used to take my son’s red wagon to the flea markets here in California….just like you I enjoy sourcing unique, old, lovely things….( We kept our old van just for bringing home treasure) Happy Hunting!✨🥂🍾✨
I’m so happy you found treasures at the antique show. And the dinner Marie created for you all looked incredible !!!
The sweet doves mold is perfect for Valentine's Day or any day. Chocolate, cake or just fun
Yes, it would be great for Valentine's Day or an anniversary.
The visit to the flower farm was lovely. The brocant stalls were fascinating, loved seeing everything. The chateau is stunning.
loved the shopping but mostly I'm always impressed by Maria's food.
So much to enjoy! Love the flower farm to bits. What he is growing is spectacular. I'm a big fan of buying local. Doing so helps our communities thrive. Watching that segment, I found myself wondering if your videos and the lovely attention they have paid to your region of France have contributed to an uptick in people visiting and or moving to the area. I love the countryside and towns that you share with us. Think the boar being left in Dan's woods was a brilliant idea. :) Love seeing your guests enjoy themselves. Well done to all.
"This isn't a diet thing - I just failed to locate the other half of the croissant." LOL!
Stephanie how could you not buy the delightful miniature of the children of King Charles? I was saying ‘buy it, buy it, oh I wish I could’! 😅 Your Baccarat set and the chandelier was absolutely beautiful and such bargains. Thanks for such a wonderful armchair visit to a Brocante where I actually saved money instead of spending.❤️
It was amazing to see Chamborg! The chateau interior (winding interior stone staircases) was where part of the film "Peau d'Äne" with Catherine Deneuve was filmed.... I saw it as a teen (it came out in 1970) and have loved it every since. Cahterine Deneuve is one of the French actresses that had wonderful talent and took each of the roles seriously. Jacques Perrin is the prince that falls for the lovely princess. I was fortunate enough to acquire the revised film on DVD in 2013. Apart from a few other fairy tales, this adaptation of the tale is my favorite - the costumes are amazing and the acting so good you really believe you are part of the story. I'd love to see the interior of Chamborg, not just the stairs and grand hall.
Another great vlog. I found it extremely interesting and the banter between Stephanie and Phillip amusing. Also buying local flowers is such a great plan.
Beautiful flower man...😊🤗💯..so many beautiful things ..😊🤗🇨🇦💞💕
I want to buy all his flowers! The colors are unreal!❤
You have been busting out these videos like a champion Stephanie!
Thank you for the visual feast! The antiques and flowers were nice also
Wow, those flowers... They are called ranonkels in Dutch. They were my mom's favorites but she has got Alzheimer and she can't remember 😢
Lot's of love from the Netherlands, Daniëlle 😘
Hugs for you and your Mom.
@@margareteldrich6337 Thank you Margaret, that is so sweet
So lovely to see you supporting a local flower grower! I'm a flower farmer and florist here in Cornwall UK!
Ok, is the cute flower guy available? Am I the only one who thought of introducing him to Marie? 😊❤
Ik vind de gesprekken tussen Philip en Stephanie als ze verschillende meningen hebben grappig en schattig. Typisch voor een verliefd stel.
I gasped when you announced where you were off to! I adore the Chateau de Chambord; I visited years ago and it is absolutely stunning!
Lovely to watch you both at the brocante, beautiful chandelier and perfume bottles. I so love to see what’s going on at La Land.
Wow, what a flower Man!
What a beautiful place to wonder around in a brocaunte. I took loved all the little glasses, but somewhat impractical. I thought you were going cut Sundays videos, how lucky are we all that you changed your mind, thank you
Yorick!!! we need more of you.
Would love to use those beautiful flowers!
Dang... Phillip really took wanting a stuffed animal to a whole new level 😂
He needs a real dog
I visited this Chataeu about 20yrs ago. It is absolutely beautiful, and its double helix staircase is amazing.
Ever thought of a poly-tunnel (greenhouse) so you can prolong your flower producing season? (You might even be able to grow the famous Lalande bananas 🍌 😊 ❤ 👋 🇦🇺
Lol! Step away from the badger-only at LaLande would that be uttered with regularity. That made me laugh Out loud. Thanks for a fun trip.
Oh yes I'd buy flowers every week !
Those fresh flowers and those fashion books !!!
I would have been tempted to get the fashion books for Sara and Steven of Manor & Maker. If Sara isn’t a huge fan, they would be the envy of most costumer’s that visit their chateau for events like the ‘Belle Epoque’ fête they have planned for end of the month.
Come for the antiques and stay for the good natured bickering that is just so funny😂
Gorgeous peacock ❤
Oh! This 74 year old would be in almost heaven at a Brocante such as this one you visited.
Me too Elaine. (I'm 75). On one of my trips to France I attended a brocante but was limited by luggage. I live in Australia and our antique markets don't have as many beautiful things.
@@valerielawson6037 never made it to Australia either but I hear how beautiful your country is! I live in the US and we have nothing like this either!
Wow french flower man 🌹
"Step away from the badger, Phillip!" Niche problems, ha ha!
I love the flowers and being able to get them locally! I love the brocante and wish I could just walk around with you guys!
Loved the flower farm - the brocante with that backdrop just WOW! Thank you for sharing from Australia.
What an amazing backdrop for a brocante sale. So many beautiful treasures. Enjoyed. Love to all ❤
He is yummy! We will need more cameos from Jon Batiste
The torquiose table is gorgeous against the yellow gold chairs!
Those flowers are absolutely amazing! I want all the ranunculus, lol, but also the rest are so beautiful...
The stables are incredible
Oh I wish I could have come with you to the flower farm and brocante! 😊🥰😊🥰
Wonderful! who doesn't love a brocante bargain! Maria's dishes are amazing....how does she always find different dishes to make??? Such a skill. Well done. Sandi x
Oh Stephanie, you were quite right, I love Jean-baptiste. Where is the local market where he sells his flowers ? I’m packing as I type xx😂🤣
You need to make a habit of going to the greenhouse more often! He's very good looking. Nice flowers to.
I lived in Nevers, another village known for its fiance, about an hour or so, south of Gien and also located on the Loire.
The Gien berry plates are really cute. You have the luxury of having an entire château to fill. Malheureusement, I don't have the space. I do recall that French fiance was all hand-painted and not cheap. I'd love to know how the market has held up over the last 40 years since I was last there.
My dream brocante! Thanks for taking me along! ❤⚜️
I love it when you take us out shopping. In America, a brocante is called a swap meet, but the only thing apparently that gets swapped is cash for treasures. Your vlogs are always so uplifting. Thanks so much!
Lovely chandelier. 🥰🎶⭐️
Great Brocante trip! You really got a bargain on the crystal bottle set, well done! Thanks Stephanie and Philip🙏❤️
Oh my goodness that cut glass 😍
Stephanie you wore that dress! And Philip looked like a rockstar at the Chambord brocante. And he found a chandelier with stars!
I think the bird mould is for chocolate but I am sure you could use for cake. I think it is very useful not like a stuffed animal lol
Everytime I see the vlog, I'm amazed at the flowers. The lily of the valley are just piercing the ground. They bloom end of May here 😮
What a wonderful little trip through history. Beautiful treasures. And again Maria knocks it out of the park! And the flower guy is really lovely. So happy you are going to work with him.
So enjoyed that Step and Philip 🥰 I do hope you locate the other half of the croissant and Philip’s tinkling issue is resolved 😂 Till next time 🌟🕊💕
My favorites were the baby peacock and the chandelair. The stars in it are dreamy... ⭐️
Yes I think you will have to visit the French florist every week. Oh what a chore! 😂. 👏🌻🌼🌹🌺 Sending ❤ from Rosie O from Devon England 🇬🇧x
Fantastic to see what Jean Baptiste is doing. Hes definitely worth filming
The chandelier is magnificent !!!!
Looking at all the lovely flowers at your local growers inspired me to go out in my flower gardens and raid some of my spring blooms.... Purple iris, yellow tulips , burgundy tulips and some lovely smelling french white lilacs...
Thank you Stephanie for your inspiration.
What a wonderful adventure today!
The flowers look good as well!
Oh la la the flower guy.❤
The dove mold is a chocolate mold not a cake tin. Not sure how well it will work to make a cake in it, as the cake expand.
