I’m glad to hear it actually. It’s been a pretty interesting build so far. Soon it will all come together and I’m sure it will be unrecognizable from the point we started at
Well the build is definitely coming along, it is really going to be coming together fast at this point and we have a bunch of pretty cool things happening in the next couple videos Thanks a lot for watching and for following the build series
I’m glad you are liking and following along, hopefully the next video will be out in the next day. Thanks a lot for the comment and obviously for watching!! The support is always much appreciated!
Thanks for the insight into these forks. I am working on a worst 92. You should check the oil height as well to make sure both forks work the same. 118 mm for std height on a 93
Just got a 93 cr250 and need to do the steering bearings. Luckily mines in better shape than this one but few things need replaced. Looking forward to more videos. Thanks for the tips ✊🏻🔫🇺🇸
You got lucky with that frame. usually bikes that old the frame is beat to shit and collapsed in on the bottom. Nice little trick there with the old seal for people that don't have the exact tool!
Thanks a lot for the comment! I wish we got as lucky as you think with the frame but in the previous case repair video I did a lot of welding to the frame to build up all the low spots. The older frames are hard to repair because they usually are badly damaged. We got it done none the less.. and the old seal trick can work but obviously it’s better to use a proper tool. Thanks again for watching
Great comment! Actually I normally do freeze most of my bearings and in the situation the races.. I probably should have mentioned that for all the viewers. Thanks for being that up, totally slipped my mind in the editing step.
I believe from 1992-2001 it is a m27x1.0 left hand. I can’t remember if it’s the same for 2002-2007. I would have to check. But I’m 99% sure about 92-2001
Really enjoying this series!!

@@Dirtbikerepair Ha, when I wrote the comment I thought about saying "if you didn't fix or weld up the frame" you got lucky...
I'm sure you know this but take and put those races in the freezer for a few hours and that makes things easier as well.

Thank you! Hey unrelated question, is the thread size for the flywheel m27×1.0L?? My handbook doesnt specify and i cant find a answer online.
