It's already in the experimental build. I've tried him out and he's awesome, I would almost say that he is done. He's also in a seperate character slot and the only problem in the whole thing is basically just the high change of getting desyncs in direct mode.

we got 64, Melee, and Brawl mods that allows us to add characters. now all we need, in my opinion, are mods that can add characters in 4 and Ultimate
We can do that in sm4sh on the Wii U, people have ported over Ice Climbers, Wolf, and Knuckles into the game. Ultimate is still fairly new, with only model/sound swaps and different colors/textures.

If there's going to be more fighters beyond Wolf, I think Wario would be pretty neat

yeah! for some reason I've always preferred Sector Z...
well.. idk tho, it feels more comfortable as a stage to play on to me, even if it's quite big.. also, that's why it's about perfect for 3-4 players even if you don't want to call it viable.

You should add entrance animations to each character with the 3, 2, 1, GO! introduced in Smash 64 and reintroduced in Brawl. Peach's Hi comes from Mario Power Tennis.
That was introduced in 64 my guy and dropped for Melee for whatever reason

If they do add Akaneia in though, the Fire Emblem fan in me will be incredibly frustrated if they call it Akaneia instead of Archanea.

Based on the project's name I'm guessing a certain planned stage is on its way
If it does release the name would be different now - it was never localized at the time of Melee's release, but it's now called Archanea in English FE games.
I lost my shit when I realized the orchestra *and* the opening jingle were both recreations made just for the trailer and it just kept going up

The music at the start is from "Super Smash Bros. Melee: Smashing...Live!" and it's around the middle of the track titled "Original Medley." I recommend listening to the whole thing.
Apparently it was mailed to Nintendo Power subscribers in 2003. What the hell? Such a powerful track should not live in obscurity.

God it's been my dream for years to be able to play PM characters in the melee engine. If y'all ever add PM meta knight to this game idk if I'll ever play another video game ever again for as long as I live. Great job to everyone who put this together.
