There was a Smash Remix update in February, a Project M EX Remix in March, and now Akaneia in April. Awesome.
We really need Mega Man in Melee!

I have no clue how you managed to make the trophy descriptions accurate to how Melee trophies were described, but it's so cool
That Sonic trailer was FUCKING LEGENDARY.
i almost shed a tear at sonic. he's perfect. accurate down to his sa1 running animation and that goddamn beautiful nike smile i never see him do anymore. his moveset looks similar to the one i've seen in smash 2 but i'll have to see. this is an instant download without question.
Hello, I am new to this mod, but every time I play a VS. match at the end I don’t get the results screen… It sends me directly to the Character selection screen… is there a way to fix that??
This is like my childhood getting DLC… just like the words of another commenter on here. I only have two requests, give Sonic a SA2-style texture/skin and also add Shadow to the roster. As a kid, I always loved playing as Samurai Goroh in the game F-Zero GX, and was excited to see him in the Melee opening racing against Captain Falcon. I was super disappointed at that age, however, that Goroh wasn’t unlockable as a playable character in Melee, so I suggest that he be added to the Akaneia build as well with his own custom moveset based on his assist trophy in Brawl.
Edit: The detail in the presentation speaks volumes. Team Akaneia cares very much about preserving the look and feel of Melee in every aspect, and it's truly impressive how much they nail it. I love the attention to the trophies, and the consistency with using a 64-looking model for Wolf, a true Diddy Kong "classic" trophy, etc. It's all so wonderful.
I absolutely adore the Melee Notification Jingles, and how they were used to present each update, Lucas looks great and Sonic looks Fantastic! Team Akaneia never misses when keeping the spirit of Melee intact! This like our childhood getting DLC!
this is like the fifth time Sonic has been revealed and it never stops being hype

That Sonic trailer was hype asf. I was crossing my fingers for sonic that entire ending, I felt like I was watching a Nintendo Direct
I'm so here for akaneia side tournaments in majors just like pm was back in the day. Don't know how we'll broadcast it though but akaneia can be the modern advancing melee with updates that also preserve that nostalgia for melee.
