The way I see it, Chroma was supposed to be the "everything" warframe. I was one of the few players who actually worked towards crafting him as soon as I could in the starchart (because he was so hyped up by the game as this powerful frame made from many others) and I wasn't disappointed. The extra bullet jump helped especially because I didn't have the operator and pretty much all the abilities were strong. (except spectral scream lmao)

Most of the frames u crticized were realsed 8-10 years ago. The game had several mechanics that didn't even exist back then. All they need is an update no need to act like it's a deliberate attempt by DE to sabotage them.
There are 8-10 years warframe with good passives too. And its not an excuse, they can update it but didn't do it yet so they still being bad no matter how many time pass.
Nezha passive is actually pretty good for fire walker, it’s meant to be able to spread the fire easily. And the reason why they made the mod to disable the passive is because people complain about it. That’s all I want to add feel free to comment and stay safe out their tenno
Nova is my girl, and I 100% agree her passive is doodoo water. Surprisingly, even after so many years of being in the game, she still doesn't even need any major rework (cough *Inaros* cough). She's just that good!
nezhas passive is very good for just raw speed, all you have to do is briefly tap crouch and you go flying which pairs with his first ability to cover a massive area in fire

I disagree with Oberon's passive being on the list. Companions can be as dumb as a sack of rocks sometimes, and that can quickly get them put into the recovery state. The extra 25% link to all its survability stats is a nice qol, especially since it can make it easier to reach 1200 max shields and make the Reinforced Bond firerate buff permanent. It's also the only way to give Sentinels a link effect since they don't have access to link mods.
I give Chroma some credit, he has two buffing abilities that will get canceled out when you fall off the map and the additional jump has saved me from that in Duviri a couple of times.
So for Nezha, his passive can be used to get even more runespeed acceleration if tipsliding is used at very precise timings. So it isn't "useless", just bery finnicky, but you can use it to cancel out speedloss of A/D turning/strafing sometimes.
I remember when Oberon's passive was even more useless. It used to be that wildlife on planets weren't aggro to him. Cause, yknow, Kubrow and Kavaats were huuuge threats back in the day /s.
Unpopular opinion: I actually really like Nezhas passive, cos as Nezha is one of the frames with a sprint buff, I enjoy being able to get around largely by sprinting and sliding rather than having to bullet jump everywhere like I'm on a pogo stick, makes them feel good as the lazy frame I use them for lol
I’d honestly be okay with not getting a new warframe or two if we got multiple warframe reworks and or an entire passive rework. Passives in my opinion should be a major factor in a warframes kit which would make them so much more fun to play. Have passive actually make the themes of warframes stick out and effect abilities synergies would be chefs kiss

Most of these passive probably weren't put into account for whether they would be very useful or not, just if they would be cool and fit the theme of the warframe. Couple that with the face that a lot of the worse passives were made in old W arframe. For example frost getting hit freezing an enemy is like "Oh that's cool" and a lot more noticeable because the game was much more simple and less chaotic, also there was significantly less enemy economy so most of the time you wouldn't be freezing enemies. Passives back then probably made a much bigger deal, especially the worse ones. Also it's kinda sick the idea of a soldier trying to attack frost only to be met with a chilling fate, kinda goes with the theme of him being defensive. Some of them aren't even bad. Trinity's fits her healer theme perfectly fine and the only reason he calls it bad is that a free passive is outdone by the heavy investment that is a focus school. Hildryn is also a strange example since his counter is Pro-tea's grenades which he points out are worse since they have .5 less shield gate and don't block toxin and then gives no reason why that is better than the free passive

"fun is subjective" and this video is about usefulness. If an ability is good on paper and in practice, DE would never introduce an augment. Augments by definition are designed to either improve the performance or fix the underlying problems of said ability which got introduced either by poor planning or changing Meta. It still fun to just stand and watch enemies get frozen once in a blue moon (if not already dead to my hound).

Even though i do understand why some people might not like Nezha's passive, i personally like it and i hope they keep it and just give us a way to disable it without using an Augment. Why didn’t you mention Revenant’s passive?!? When your shield breaks, knockdown enemies in a radius…WHEN YOUR SHIELD BREAKS…but Mesmer Skin makes you IMMUNE TO DAMAGE…so please, tell me how my shield is gonna break?!? Electric Conduits?!? Cuz thats all I can think of
I really hope they leave Nezha's passive alone. I understand that 99% of players would not like his passive. However he is my main. You jack up his parkour velocity and he'll outrun even some Titania's. That slide in between bullet jumps helps keep the speed. Though it takes a long time to get used to how slippy slidey he likes to be. I just think that it falls into uniquely useful for anyone that bothers actually learning how to play Nezha. Keeping in mind that changing the Warframe you are playing should almost completely switch up the gameplay
As someone who doesnt main nezha but enjoys his gameplay, I agree actually. His passive is pretty fun and gotten me out of some pretty tight situation on higer levels
Nyx passive is fine. Even with all that crowd control you still get enemies targeting you fairly often, so having a bit of evasion helps. Unless you're using Assimilate 24/7, in that case it does literally nothing...
@@KnightmareFrameit's a passive... it literally passively gives her a tiny bit extra survivability that works in addition to all you said... it's nothing more and nothing less you could expect from a passive, if you use Helminth for abities + shards, put on p sure footed, invest a bunch of forma and use a weapon that's built to obliterate enemies at level cap - all passives are obsolete!
feel like passives should be more applicable and or have better synergy with the main abilities. like swap the chance of freezing an enemy to frost emitting a splash of liquid nitrogen that slows enemies on bullet jump. or for rhino have a passive that raises armor somehow that wouldn't be broken, idunno a killstreak that raises armor value by 20% for every enemy killed within 10 seconds that stacks with ironclad charge
Mags passive is terrible for no reason. Increase the distance slightly and it would free up a mod on your companion I guess, as it stands it's just useless.
I was just thinking about this and how the Vacuum and Fetch mod are the mods everyone uses. Honestly I think everyone would still prefer the mod over her passive since they don't have to go as far. Now if it was a 15m range, it'd be a great passive since Fetch has the highest distance of the 2 mods.
@@chaotic_tier-0029 honestly I would settle for just the same as vacuum. At least then it gives something to mag, an extra slot on sentinels. It's not invisibility while airborne or just an additional 100% damage like some passives but it's actually something. I tried to run just the passive and at its current distance it genuinely doesn't feel like it's functioning.
poor inaros we saying he is ussles but he just maded for old Warframe. Pablo shloud look in Frames passsives and rewerokem them but mainly go for Inaros rewrok.
Primed sure footed. Best exilus mod in the game. Me using Inaros' negation swarm augment: Ehhh. Mines cheaper and negates all status, not just knockdowns.
I feel like the main defense for almost all of these passives is that you have to remember how old a majority of these passives are, and how much the game has changed since their release. Most of them need a small buff to bring them in line with the game, or have something added to the game that their passive can "exploit". And hildryn's passive is flat out better than grenade fan.
Yeah but for a lot of frames, like Rhino, there's no buffing that to ever matter unless they go, "Yeah this just does a million damage" because it's just doodoo water. They should do something like, as he moves he generates Overguard, which ties into letting players rebuild up their iron skin as they go.
@@StevenTLawson or maybe give slam attacks a damage and range buff based on your ironskin? That way it fits his kit, while keeping the original passives theme.

I mean mesa has 3 passives Gauss has a guide book battery as a passive There are frames with more then 1 passive but voruna has to choose which passive to use like imagine all were active at the same time
I mean they're 2013 passives mostly. New ones have been good. Idk why they don't spend just a little time to give them a tiny buff, not even a comprehensive one.
Im surprised you didn't mention nekros. By no means is it flat out bad but my gosh it needs a ramge increase beyond 5m. And he s self reive bug from his passive is amazing.
Nezha's passive is amazing. DO NOT GET RID OF THE CURRENT ONE, JUST ADD AN ADDITIONAL EFFECT TO IT AND KEEP THE AUGMENT THAT DISABLES THE SLIDE PORTION OF IT. What can I say, I love butt-scooter roller skating. It fun.
Ngl I don't think neza's passive is bad. Certainly, it's awkward if you don't know how to control it, but it's secretly a massive speed buff. And the fact that there is a disable mod doesn't mean the effect is bad(there is a disable mod for titania's vaccum and zephyr's floatyness)
kind of wish you could just helminth passives Aswell as abilities, cause some warframes are just already have good ability sets but crap passives. Could you imagine slapping Yareli's passive on mesa? or Stynax's passive on any frame with a shield. I mean kit-based ones are obviously out like grendal or octavia's but a lot of early warframes have generic passives from before kit synergy.
I barely ever think about passives. I guess I can think of a few off the top of my head that are okay (Voruna), but I don't really consider them when I make a build. The better video might be about which passives are actually good enough so that there's a reason not to ignore them.
@@kayser195yep, but amalagam furax body count gives +45% fire rate for secondaries on her, which is a higher amount. it is entirely useless except in no melee sorties
idk about reworking warframes. The whole damn game needs to be rewritten to make it good. I envision such an amazing game that it could be. Filled with challenge and requirement for team play and awareness. Actually know that there are different types of enemies and needing to learn their abilities and attacks as well. Just a mindless hallsweeper game, though.
People enjoy mindless hallsweeper games. It doesn't need to be reworked. Not every game needs to be super focused towards teamwork and whatever. Warframe is meant to be mindless and fun, that's what makes it good.

Dude i was waiting for this one since your video from worst frames yet still
I really hope they leave Nezha's passive alone. Keeping in mind that changing the Warframe you are playing should almost completely switch up the gameplay
love how he's fast passively unlike volt he don't need to cast a skill to get fast
I put slide on most of my frames because nezha is my main
As someone who doesnt main nezha but enjoys his gameplay, I agree actually. His passive is pretty fun and gotten me out of some pretty tight situation on higer levels
DE should cater for he majority because that's how companies work.
Nyx passive is fine. Even with all that crowd control you still get enemies targeting you fairly often, so having a bit of evasion helps.
Unless you're using Assimilate 24/7, in that case it does literally nothing...
yeah but u also got shield gating and companions aswell
you can not even use her 4th and still have the passive being useless.
@@KnightmareFrameit's a passive...
it literally passively gives her a tiny bit extra survivability that works in addition to all you said...
it's nothing more and nothing less you could expect from a passive, if you use Helminth for abities + shards, put on p sure footed, invest a bunch of forma and use a weapon that's built to obliterate enemies at level cap - all passives are obsolete!
feel like passives should be more applicable and or have better synergy with the main abilities. like swap the chance of freezing an enemy to frost emitting a splash of liquid nitrogen that slows enemies on bullet jump. or for rhino have a passive that raises armor somehow that wouldn't be broken, idunno a killstreak that raises armor value by 20% for every enemy killed within 10 seconds that stacks with ironclad charge
you forgot revenant's passive
Well its similar to nova and valkyr gets removed with something
I still believe that the new augment for frost should be his passive it would be so good.
And don't forget when Ember had a power boost when SHE was on fire. And they changed it to how it is now.
as a nezha main i actually like the slide for speed XD
poor inaros we saying he is ussles but he just maded for old Warframe. Pablo shloud look in Frames passsives and rewerokem them but mainly go for Inaros rewrok.
Frost passive should apply armor on top of his shields.
That way his big ass shield and big ass armor would make sense.
That's a good idea, @DE listen to this please. Someone tag Pablo.
Primed sure footed. Best exilus mod in the game.
Me using Inaros' negation swarm augment: Ehhh. Mines cheaper and negates all status, not just knockdowns.
As a egyptian enjoyer, Inaros hurts. He was barely worth it when he was released. Now, not as bad a loki, but one of the worst.
i actually like Nezha's passive ! and no i dont slide into walls
Oberon passive used to make the kubrow and kavat that attack everything on earth fight for you
I feel like the main defense for almost all of these passives is that you have to remember how old a majority of these passives are, and how much the game has changed since their release.
Nezha's passive is Fun, they don't all have to boost damage or survivability.
Parkour on skates? That's why he's my most played WarFrame.
there are several other passives which are just utility based and still better than his passive.
@@KnightmareFrame That is true, but I love his the most so...
P.S. you've made my day by replying to my comment. I absolutely love your videos and streams. You've taught me a lot about Warframe.
Keep up the amazing work.
As a Limbo Prime main... i kinda LOVE my passive! Its literally the play style. Lol
Nezha passive is legit tho for moment
yeah, he also gains a significant speed boost if you activate his 1 and tap slide while running forward and it's pretty fun
Revenant not being here is crazy
For those who don't know, when Revenants shields are depleted he releases a shockwave, it knocks down enemies and does 100 damage within 7.5m. . . Revenant doesn't take any damage if you press 2 every not and again so this literally never comes up.
Voruna: u guy have 1 passive? 😅😂
The day she debuted I nearly died from indignation.
I mean mesa has 3 passives
Gauss has a guide book battery as a passive
There are frames with more then 1 passive but voruna has to choose which passive to use like imagine all were active at the same time
I mean they're 2013 passives mostly. New ones have been good. Idk why they don't spend just a little time to give them a tiny buff, not even a comprehensive one.
Chroma can triple jump?! I'm playing for almost 8 years and this is a first for me!
Nezha gets quite speedy due to this passive
slightly* faster. not useful tho
While I don't see myself ever using mod space for Kavat's grace, Valkyr's immunity to hard landings feels pretty nice when you're a new player.
It fun.
I knoww, that's why he's my most played WarFrame, he makes the movement aspect of the game a lot more fun.
Ngl 0:14 I was too distracted and wasn't even looking at mista
Man Nezhas passive is sick, man goes zoom
And totally Misses the landing
Loki's passive is great for that one riven challenge 😅
No one going to talk about Revenant’s passive?
I barely ever think about passives. I guess I can think of a few off the top of my head that are okay (Voruna), but I don't really consider them when I make a build.
The better video might be about which passives are actually good enough so that there's a reason not to ignore them.
Lets not forget mesa her useless passive 50 extra health when not using a melee
it also makes dual handed sidearms shoot faster and one handed sidearms reload faster
@@kayser195 yes she has 2 passives because the other one just doesnt do anything and basically is just a disadvantage
@@Sovereign_Zero Kind of ironic considering that they are actively trying to fight that.
Don't tell this man about revenant's passive or else he is gonna have a mental breakdown 💀💀💀💀
oh he knows he just didnt bother
Your Valkyr fashion on point there for passive. top 5 best in game
How about second Revenant passive where he's immune to electric damage from water during night on the Eidolon Planes? Guess it's a really good one.
lol nightmare frame really likes prime sure footed
Tbh I have a speed build on my nezha which wouldn’t be possible without the passive. You walk normally and you can feel the speed. You slide and you go mach 7 like it’s nothing. It’s fun to play
That being said I don’t think using mach 7 nezha in starchart fissures bc that’s all he can do was what the devs invisioned lol
Don't bring up the mods to disable nezha's and zephyr's passive disabling mods. I would really like to forget that AGGP exists.
