    That first signal on the beach sounded like you had forgot to turn pinpoint off so was searching in pinpoint mode ! those nails are that obvious in all metal that you wont dig them up and if you have iron discrim on you wont hear them. One thing i have noticed while using it is if you use pinpoint often especially with gloves on its very easy to accidently knock the sensitivity down so much as to have only one segment on and lose loads of signals so keep a watch out for that, and a slow swing is essential.

    Sam when you come down to Florida this summer we must meet up on Deerfield Beach, I will bring the GoFind 60 along and you will see how well it performs in the wet sand. I have used it in the shallow water and it works fine , but I was too afraid of getting the control box wet in the surf. Its the kind of compact metal detector you can travel with and use inside the shallow water if you really wanted to as the coil is waterproof. I will be putting videos up of the GoFind in action on the wet sand on youtube soon.

    A quite informative video on the Go Find 60 Blake! I love how small that baby folds down for storage or packing! I was wondering of it's power source, does it have replacement batteries or is it rechargeable? At any rate, it looks like something I would add to my arsenal! Thanks Doug

    As soon as they come out with a Go Find 80, Thats water proof and either dual frequency that can handle salt water. I'll buy.
    Also has to be a bit m,ore then 7khz. Bring it up to 12khz and a 3 khz second frequency . I'D be a happy individual.

      Michał Majchrowicz Don't hold your breath. They aren't likely to make a video highlighting how poorly it performs compared to others. They are trying to sell them.

    My XP Deus is has very fast recovery speed and great separation of targets. IE, if you have a nail 3 inches from a dime it will hit the nail with a nail signal and the dime with it's tone in record speed. However, I need a backup detector and one for my girlfriend so I think this unit looks and works very well and the name Minelab makes everyone in my detecting club salivate. I just want to clarify one thing. When you say it has bluetooth and you can use your IPHONE, does that mean it's completely wireless in this case?. You have earbuds in. Thanks.

    Ok Blake. Here's my thoughts. If this unit is sea worthy and can handle the salt water conditions . I'm all for it. . Looks like you and Gary Drayton are only demonstrating its over the target ability but not in the water? Is there or will there be a water unit in the go find series.That will handle salt conditions like the 30/30 excal/ and even the detectorpro 2.4khz unit underwater can handle the salt water. go figure.

      +Kellyco Detectors I found a zippo lighter, which now works and a £1 coin , I love the way the go find packs away but still prefer the way my bounty hunter responds to targets in the middle of the coil, I can move it real slowly and pinpoint a coin like target or trace the outline of larger targets and recognise them as junk, although most phones are the same outline as a can now lol.
      My bounty hunter is getting old now and I plan to replace it with a whites treasuremaster or a eurotek pro I like the treasuremasters features but am not sure if the eurotek responds better, I see a lot of folks swingin the Tm and sometimes it looks like it is beeping on the side of the coil instead of centre, it looks like targeting is a bit off centre in normal swinging, unless it's RUclips video lag. I like it has a beach mode , but have seen some great targets at reasonable depth with the euro pro with sensitivity turned down, even at 3 it still finds stuff 6 inches in wet when set right .
      Any ideas?

      +The Atomic Punk by the way the go find APP works great on the go find 40 with the iPad mini 2 retina, I think mine is using iOS 9.2 or something, besides the features it means you can operate the detector wireless and have the phones plugged in your iPad in the back pack

    No depth display? I wonder, apart from how beautifully modular this is, whether it's really any better than my Ace 350?

    • @SuperCrazycrabs
      @SuperCrazycrabs 8 лет назад

      it does have a depth display

    • @alanaspopo1955
      @alanaspopo1955 7 лет назад

      stemart1641 Your Ace 350 is better in my opinion as I have both the GoFind60 and an AT Pro and much prefer the ATP over the Minelab. That being said the Minelab is light, portable, and you don't get worn out swinging it. I think you don't need a depth disply even though it has bars on the screen as I just get the signal then lift the coil up until the signal fades out-that's your depth! I use my ATP 90% of the time, but for playgrounds and areas where I want more discretion from other observers I use the Minelab. The GoFind has it's uses and I am still getting accustomed to it. The only real flaw is that you can't change coils, though I have seen one here on youtube modified with I believe it is a Mars coil of about 12".

    Kellyco metal detectors What's the depth of water coil can go???can you do water test

    • @KellycoMetalDetectors
      @KellycoMetalDetectors  6 лет назад

      It's meant for shallow water, so I wouldn't let it go near the first notch so you make sure water doesn't go into the shaft.

    You said the Go find is going to go anywhere I want it to? How about in the salt water?

    • @GSchafer0303
      @GSchafer0303 9 лет назад

      Sam W. the GO-FIND works well in the salt water and on salt water beaches, but the control box cannot be submersed. It handles salt water beaches very well and transitions from dry to wet mineralized sand easily with just reducing sensitivity by 1 or 2 levels.

  • @CentelsGaming
