I'm so grateful for this video. I'm a graphic design student and I wish the school would teach us this information, but they do not. They expect us to already know how to do it. Thanks so much.
This is such a great video and I'm slowly now able to work towards creating my own packaging! The only bit I couldn't quite make out was how you bring the slanted sides of the flaps in? Not managed to do this yet! Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge. Would love a video on if you need to and how to flatten layers etc before sending to print....? Thanks again!
Glad it was helpful! I will try to upload more videos soon. To change the flaps hold the shift key and press arrow keys once. Select the arrow keys accordingly.
Hi Learn With Passion..... I am not from this proffession , first i thought I will never be able to do this stuff as I was unable to identify the small small tool ICONS....But your CLEAR AUDIO and great Quality Teaching tought me Good... Now I am Able to Do my own packaging Boxes.... It was great experience.... Plus The Adobe Illustrator app was having Free trial Too... Keep Posting It helps A LOT.
Is there a possibility to define which color is for what in case when the machine should cut the packaging, for example black is only for cutting and red for folding?
Do you have any tutorials on how to place designs on the box once the template is finished? And how do you save the file? Do you combine the layers? Also, my cut (fold) lines are all around the perimeter, not the folds. What do you mean by "Here you have to delete inside guides"? Thanks!

Is there a possibility to define which color is for what in case when the machine should cut the packaging, for example black is only for cutting and red for folding?
Yes. You can define which part you need to fully cut and which just for folding. For folding case, machine will only apply a little pressure.

if you add red fold lines then they will be printed too. How can i show folding edges but not have them come printed on the product?
Red fold lines are basically for cutting and folding. These lines help in printing.
I have the same question also. If we save the red lines with the whole design, they will be printed also right?
Very nice...
Thank you! Cheers!
Thanks a lot !! Why double lines at the end ?! 🙄
One for cutting and other for design.

Thanks you so much, very easy way, I like it.
You are welcome 😊
why don't u change "units" in mm insteed of inches?
It depends upon the client's need. You can also work in mm as well. But make sure that all units are the same for all the dimensions.
plz tell me how to put logo onto that box?
How does one know what a deconstructed box looks like to even create a dieline????
If you want to see a pre created mockup of your Dielines and design, you can go to this website and paste you design and check that how it will be in real world.

You can also check that which dieline will fit for your product.

Is it solved now?
@@Passion4Learn yes I think, thank you for replying
What's the actual logic of these measurements?
These are important for designing, printing and cutting.
Audio is way too slow
The audio is awful.. surely your own voice is better than that..
