I've got three of these sitting in my garage. One has a hole in a valve, one has an electrical problem, and the other has a cracked cylinder head at the hose connection. I replaced them all with the $145.00 Smittybuilt that pumps 5.6 CFM. So far good after one year. It does get hot while pumping my tires 12psi to 40psi. About 5 minutes per tire.
Good review. I wanted to find out if the fitting on the compressor was a standard M type and you confirmed that. I will pick one up for that reason alone. Thanks.
The Way It Is Bushcraft Thanks for the sub. I still have the compressor. Never an issue with it. However, I've installed on board air in the JK, so this compressor is now for my son's Jeep.
Not yet. Saturday. All of the reviews have said 3-4 minutes for 35/37 sized tires. It has a 40 minute run time, so should have no problems airing up all tires in one shot.
Sounds great!! I've been researching air compressors lately and just can't make myself pay a lot for one. Would love to see a follow up video of you using! Thanks for the info!!
+Adam Austin I'm hoping to get video on Saturday. Check out all of the reviews on the mv50 (same exact thing). Everyone is really impressed by this thing... And it's been around for a while. I can't believe I haven't run across it before today.
Looked like on one of you post in the jeep forums you hinted at a new product to go with this that you were testing. Are you able to share any details?
*This is INSANELY nice.💫 **allabout.wiki/Viair** i got a Bostitch 6 gallon pancake and the regulator broke, and it was stupid loud. Also, the gauges barely worked. it wouldnt even power a die grinder. But this little dude ROCKS. Its not only 1/4 as loud as the Bositch, it works like a fine tuned machine should. Kudos to California Air Tools! This performs EXACTLY as advertised. Cant beat the price either.*
I bought this and foolishly threw it in my truck without trying it out first. Fast forward to me 6 hours from home, middle of national forest, needing to air up my 33's to 60/65 psi to trailer my toyhauler back after a weekend of camping. It got halfway through my second tire before blowing the 30amp fuse. Luckily it came with a spare fuse, which promptly burned out after letting cool down and airing up the rest of the second tire. I didn't have anymore fuses and had to air up at a gas station when I got to the nearest town. I got home and promptly threw this thing in the trash. Waste of money for my purpose.
I've had mine for about 7 years and it still works flawlessly. Mine came with a M type connector at that time. Highly recommended.

I just got mine and I can't believe how awesome it is compared to those cheap crappy ones I've been using for years
Hey, I'm going to pick one of these up. Curious if you have a 1 year + update on how it has been working.
Has never let me down! Not the fastest.... sure. But it has not had any issues.
Hello my friend, this hose of yellow and how many millimeters?
