Could you kindly explain 1 Cor 13. We all know it as the description of what Love is supposed to be. But in the KJV it speaks of "Charity". To me, Charity means different from the description of Love. What was the words in the Greek Language, please?
Hey Edna, I just double checked, and this chapter is all about agapé. Every time you see "love," or in KJV, "charity," the Greek is agapé. Charity comes from the Latin, "caritas", which is what Latin Bibles often use to translate agapé. I love 1 Cor 13 and wish Ty and I had had time to discuss it during this session.
Jesus had to die for us. So it seems like he absolutely knew he would be crucified. I just feel sad when people say that the Jews crucified Jesus it wasn't the Jews it was sin that crucified Jesus. Praise His holy name that He loved us so much to save us🙌🙌🙌
