  • One of the most profound truths in the universe is the fact that God is all powerful and all knowing, but He can still suffer, cry, and even sob uncontrollably. In the suffering of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, He identified Himself with the sin and shame of the world. Because Jesus chose to suffer as we suffer, we are brought closer to God than angels will ever be.

Such a much needed sermon. Jeffrey keeps it real. Always enjoy his sermons. I'm 63, and I am so appreciative of this young man's desire to spread the gospel and to bring us closer thru his sermons to knowing him (Jesus) better.

In my country, SDA churches has no cross. I always wonder about this, perhaps because of the idea that why would you keep something that is painful. Jesus died in the cross. The Catholics always make a sign of the cross oss when they passed a church or a Statue of a Saint.
This topic makes me look at the cross differently. The cross is a symbol of Victory, triumph of Good over evil in that serpent hanging on the tree to the Son of God hanging on the tree.
What a loop and the end loop is the hope that whatever injustice , pain, hardships we go through, Jesus wins all in that Cross! Amen! Hallelujah!

I’m sorry but Friday night is the sabbath and Jesus was already taken down off the cross before the sabbath began, I’m sure you all knew this and it was just a little oversight
