I'm a new viewer and I love your personality and video. Many thanks to you. If I wanted to process to seal this any ideas on the best way to do that? I would like to do a few jars ahead for gifts, etc, but don't always have room in the fridge. Love you!
Excellent recipe 👍🏽you are lovely 🙏🏽
Awesome job granny...
I eat jalapeños and other peppers regularly so this is a special treat. I will no longer have to buy them in grocery stores. :)
Karen Cas the pickle will be a treat. I WOULD NOT recommend that you eat scotch bonnet pepper the way you eat jalapeño. Especially the red or orange ones.
I like your cooking style and decided to make your Jamaican Hot Pepper Pickles. I needed the Choyote and Dried Pimento Berries (whole allspice). I grow my own peppers (Habaneros). I got up early thinking it was going to be difficult to locate these two items. Went to Walmart and they had the squash and the dried berries. It's going to be a spicy Thanksgiving and Christmas at my house. Thanks for posting. Today is Sunday, next on my list is your recipe for Jamaican Rice and Peas. Thank you for sharing.
+MadameB thank you for watching! Spicy is good!
Fabulous
its very good thanks
I opened up a jar of my Jamaican Hot Pepper Pickles because I wanted to taste the cho cho, never had it before. I now understand your warning even though I didn't use Scotch Bonnet Peppers. Oh my! Spicy Hot Hot Hot! The heat lasts a long time but is manageable. This is going be so good with some fried fish, or anything else I like spicy hot! TFS
+MadameB thank you for watching! Enjoy the heat.
Thank you for showing me how to make escovitch sauce
yumm
Your boo boo is my lesson. :). Love Canada girl.

+Maycie Urriola happy to help! thank you for watching. We have a family connection to Panama so always nice to hear from our friends there!
Why didn't i find this channel before??? Happy to have found you though! :D
Thanks for your videos. We love you. I am adopting you as my Grandma - you remind me of my Grandma so much. Do you just warm the vinegar or do you boil it. Thanks. Keep the videos coming. You are GREAT
🙌🏾
Hey I dnt like the vinegar too hot because it discolours the ingredients and cook them too much make this a few days in advance the vinegar will do it's jobs and the ingredients will have a little crunch to it. The texture is noticeable between cooked and uncooked veggies. Hope that helps .
Very good👍
I use your recipe years ago now I am here in 2020 to make it again
perfect
Hi Aunty.................... THANKS for making this video, im beggin' can you PLEASE list how much of of each dry spice you use and how much vinegar.... PLEASEEEEE
A good Jamaican cook
+Patricia Pinnock ❤️
This is great! can you show us how to make steam cabbage?
U look like my Grandma Bernadine :May she rest in peace🙏🏾👵🏽
Thanks you :)
Niceness
LOL i lost it when you put those glasses on! Its true the fumes sometimes get you but I got indian in my blood, pepper is second nature to me
Clearly I'm scared of pepper LOL!
+Cook Like A Jamaican For good reasons, Scotch Bonnet's heat tends to linger if you dont clean up properly lol
I've never been a fan of chocho. What do you think about using cabbage instead of choco? are there any other vegetables one might use?
Does picked pepper ever spoil? My mom made some before she past I found it and it maybe 8 or so years old.
This is my favourite with snapper fish
Very good tasty awesom pikle
How to Consumption it??😁😁.it's very nice
Uma boa tarde para todos !
love this video, but how much salt, sugar and vinegar to use?
+verone adote the complete recipe is on our website

you are the best
my husband makes these very hot love your layering.
its been a while. miss u.
+alexia davis I've missing making my videos too. Thank you for hanging on. Blessings
How long should we preserve it for?
If you tirn the bottle up side down the pimento will float the opposite way
I love the pickle peppers I cannot find Scotch bonnet pepper in America
+Anika Williams substitute Habanero peppers instead
Anika, I am never out of Scotch bonnet pepper. I get it from my friend's farm in the summer.
Grow your own. All it takes is two plants. I use the same pot they use for window herbs, four plants, they last me a year.
Anika Williams fine fare supermarket
Anika Williams I think shoprite calls them haberneros, or they are similar. Korean markets sell them too.
Mommy where u gwarn wid dem big glasses 🤓 😂😂
Put the lid on when it’s hot and the heat will seal the bottle.
Does it need to be refrigerated?
Very pretty
put a splash of the juice in your ramen
I miss you... Can you add celery and garlic cloves to this?
+Nobie Smith Celery isn't a typical Jamaican veggie, but should be great pickled. If you want to add garlic I recommend using whole cloves.
I missed her too
🎬 1 📽 🎞 🗣 🎙 🌎🌍🌏 ★★★★★ 🧐 👩🏾💻 Outstanding, thank you so much for sharing. ❤❤❤❤❤ 👁👁 👍🏿
Do you peel the cho cho
Does water go into this jar?
4.30 moving like a white woman frighten of the Scotch Bonnet lol niece video tho respect🙏🏾
Too cute 🙄
*turn
I like to watch this lady. She's nice
what is cho cho
It's what Jamaican call chayote squash. Same thing
Most of the Caribbean call it christophene or Hispanics call it chayote
Its not that word in spanish if you know what i mean. its a vegetable like potato.
wade hall lol wonder if they were thinking that
White vinegar is "better looking from the jar." Looks before health, I see. We all need to make it the other way around.
Omg hi Whitney! Is that really you? Back from the 💀 dead
Wow, she faint from pepper....
