I don't know his creative process in remixing, and it would seriously be cool if he chops up samples into the LP to mess around with them, but I'm pretty sure his primary use for Launchpads is just as a performance tool. Of course I don't know for sure, but he does seem to already know what he's doing before he goes into the actual production of a remix or track.

thank you to my husband for introducing me to one of my all time fav songs. no other song hits like the drop on this one does.......i remember being 13 doing an animation test with this song
God.... This music and Madeon and all like him that produced this Melodic sounding EDM were apart of my youth. It's insane how this music has such connection with my memories, I love pop-punk, rock, indie, synth you name it but this music was there in such formative years for me and the memories surrounding it. It's overwhelming.
My brother introduced this song to me when I was 9, I was listening to Skrillex and Porter Robinson. He started to realize I was growing an interest in EDM music, so he told come to him. So I came to him and he passed me an earphone and said listen to this. So I did and instantly fell in love with Deadmau5 and Madeon's music, and ever since then.. I still listen to this every now and then, I even got most of my friends to listen to Madeon.
You have a perfect taste in music at this age listening to these legends dude, add DaftPunk to your list and it will be stellar 👍🏻

This song got me into EDM, period. I was a metal head (still am) and classic rock guy, strictly. No joke, this song blew open the floodgates. I listen to absolutely everything now. Huge bass head, love hip hop, ah man. It just woke me. This was back in 2012 and still going strong. I’d just never heard anything like it in my life, that drop is just incredible, and the part right after the drop “...you won’t feel a thiiing” ah man something about it just hits me in the heart strings.

This song gives me flashbacks back to being stuck in the Denver airport for 27 hours because of our low priority flight tickets. It was like 3 AM and literally nobody was there, other than the night security, and I realized my dad had brought some earbuds, so I listened to this song. I still get chills from that horrible experience, and the song makes me relive them. Despite that though, I find myself listening to this again to get that feeling. It was in the summer of 2014, which also explains why every single flight was taken. Overall a memorable experience, but I'd probably not ever do it again, since staying overnight in the airport is really creepy first of all, and I didn't get sleep. We also ate these ham and cheese crepes, which honestly almost made me throw up, because the cheese was lower quality than goddamn Velveeta.
Been here since the days of Icarus and Finale. It's after so many years I'm revisiting this track. Feels so friggin' good to listen to this guy.
I think since about 2011 Madeon has been the most constistently fucking awesome producer in the world. Madeon, Mat Zo, Deorro, Audien, Porter Robinson, Dillon Francis, Mord Fustang, Flume the most creative producers in the world IMO.

Madeon is just so great. I really love his loose style that somehow springs from a way of bringing together so many different sounds. It just flows so well. And he's so young to, playing his first club show when he was 16. He must hav really started learning young

Joel(deadmau5) had a good start with vocals but he wanted to try the dubstep route and it was ok but Joel really really does well with progressive house. Madeon took the best part of the original made a really really good beat and did a really amazing job. GG Madeon GG. :) Again this is just my opinion don't mean to make anyone upset.

Original is magnificent until it gets to the dubstep-like bit, to which if this mix replaced it, it'd be an incredible song.

Nah dubstep is a common misconception all remixes arenit dubstep the term dubstep is owned by skrillex. Most people that use dubstep usually mean glitch hop, edm, dnb, house, ect
Do keep in mind, making a song from scratch is harder than remixing the song.
