I was lucky to encounter this legendary track of Madeon back in 2017, when my youth was at its prime. This track has perfectly captured the essence of my early youth. Joyful, carefree, wild, dreamy, passionate, and promising. Now after 7 years, life has changed a lot, both personally and objectively. Most of the positivity is gone, and I'm left with waves and waves of challenges and setbacks which may seem unfair at times. Still, every time I re-listen to this track, it always gives me a glimpse, a faint sight of a promising future somewhere ahead of me, beyond these dark clouds. Because of that, now whenever I feel at my worst, I'll listen to this track again, to have the motivation to keep moving forward. Thank you Madeon, for creating such an iconic, unforgettable melody!
Can’t believe this song is now 5 years old. Seriously an electronic masterpiece. We need more musicians like Madeon. His music actually makes us feel something. It’s so unique and interesting. Truly a talented person.
Meanwhile Garrix's Animals has Breached 1 billion and is widely regarded as a masterpiece... well, we all know that there's something wrong about this world...
I was in my parents car going back from a trip to florida when I first listened to this song. I remember it was cloudy and quiet with a bittersweet feeling of my life changing as I cried. Its the melodies and unique sounds that relate to your pain. The journey we face doesn't have to be alone. Madeon created something truly beautiful that cant be put into words. The picasso of storytelling.
The end of the song after 5:06-5:30 brings tears to my eyes every time I listen to this pice of art. Throughout the whole song it seems as if its talking about someones life and the trials they went through. The it gets to that part and it expesses the thought of coming to the end of a journey and resting. At the very end your getting ready for another adventure. Good luck.
Personally, my dad had listened to this song for years I think cause it was just in his liked list, and then one day I was like "hold up this is actually pretty good" TH kinda storytelling is going on in this song? Idk I just like it xD
I remember hearing this at Technicolor Dreams - in Toronto. Back before Madeon was not too well known and playing at just underground venues. I knew then, this...this is ingenious. The layers in this song, the pace build up and drop and how they fit are a true masterpiece. Mozart level composition here.

If you want to hear some good complicated music, listen to Pat Metheny or some other jazz artist. Although this music may sound good and cool, it is baseline easy and not complex whatsoever. Okay now my rant is done :)
Drew Jacobs For this track he included more than a 100 samples to make it right . And madeon actually worked on it for a good 8 mounths . So if you're telling us that this track is not complex , you're getting it wrong . True music for me are Tracks that touches my heart and makes me even cry . And "Technicolor" is one of them : A true peace of art created by a 19 years old French producer . God bless this genius because he IS one. And he'll remain one , that's for sure !

This song will be always better than everyone! I promise you God!
_And in the day the physical realm will break apart and all worlds will collapse on each other, their heroes and villains will band together for one final showdown against our biggest enemy: reality, who suppresses our creativity and forces us with our feet on the ground, when dreamers have been carrying the entire world like Atlas since the dawn of existence. Reality will fall. Imagination will rise. _*_Pop Culture is immortal. TECHNICOLOR IS ENDLESS._*
Listen to 1:04 while reading this
I actually imagined this for the last drop
DAMN!! That was insanely well written, it almost sounds official!
I think young guys like Madeon are true showcases for what artistically our generation has to offer :)
true
trueloo
I could not agree more. Guys like him and Porter (God bless their collaborative tour because it is gonna be legendary) are the musical geniuses of our day: started off as teen prodigies, and their styles will continue to evolve as they grow old. I can't wait to see what music the future holds.
Omg man you did not just say musical genius
I'm so glad I'm going to their San Diego tour
I can't belive this music come from 2013. It's the most beautiful song i've ever eared. :')
Yes
From where you know this song?
@@niggaballs67 beat saber, if i don't remember wrong.
Could make a perfect story of a hero who was at his best and his parents died the hero left then came back and saved the town! Gosh I need a breath!
Oh and at the end he fights the person who kills his parents then wins and retires!
Elite Hydra Well, you just ruined your own epic adventure.
:)
Like batman
So creative *coughnotehmm*
10 años después escucho nuevamente esta canción, que nostalgia, gracias por este gran tema ❤
can't wait till you're finished with your album! at least I hope you're still working on it. c:
He'll start working on it in January . 4 mouths of studio he said :p
Rubik simon really? in january? :/
Rubik simon Finally! Ahhh, I can't wait! I think he's been on tour for a really long time so he couldn't, but I'm not sure. Totally will be worth the wait.
Vicente Sepulveda He'll start in January for 4 mouths studio
Hoping he'll release "cut the kid" Before the album release ! I freaking love this track ! :)
Sammy Strudle
Fuck yeah he has! I saw this fucker live, and that shit was cray.
years later and the top comments are still the same. it's kinda nostalgic
I subscribed after hearing the first minute of this song, so I really can't wait to hear what's coming up next

James Westbrook
Watch Finale by Madeon. It's my favorite :)
thats odd. I've never heard of someone masturbating to a song
Kayliani Jessica Powlison yeah is very good!.
This is my fav from Madeon aside shelter. Not only the song is outstanding but also long enough to bounce in my bedroom. The melody are like light rays coming from an unknown place. I really like the intro and the outro too. This is the best song from Madeob for me.
2020, in quarantine, and I'm here with my memories and my nostalgic, those were good times...
We're all here with u ❤️
There are no words that describe this song, I may even say that this is the single best song I have ever heard.
It beats your own theme?
+Lite Mole
Mmm.. Na.
i absolutely love madeon
Madeon's music has such nostalgic qualities. It takes me back, man.
yea!! ikr. I always get a nostalgic feeling from his music.
You know you're badass when you make like 5 songs and you have this many fans
He has this many fans because of his amazing dj skills, you have to see him live to understand
he mas more than that
I'm talking originals, not remixes. Even though those are just as epic
also production for other artists.
Alright alright, jeez. Comment redacted
2:50, wowwwwwww this pieces
Anyone still listening?
WHY NOT? 🙂
Every time I'm about to face something really big... I come here.
in 2023 baby 😎

2023
2023 😌
2:49 .... chills, cant say enough on how good this is.
I love your music with a passion, it really speaks to me, uplifts my spirit, my soul. it to me is more than music, its something that takes me to- to another world, I close my eyes everytime, surrounded by colors, amazing lights and beautiful features, I don't go around a fan girl saying ''I love madeon!!! omg his music I fab!'', im not that girl I put a serious face on and let the music lift me. it is just amazing what you can do, I don't know how you found the way to do this to me, to make me feel this way, but you do. and all I want to do is get up, and fly away into the world that you take me to.
Miss this Era of Madeon
The song changed from a gentle melody to an aggressive and powerful chorus that got me into the groove.
Tu as absolument atteint ton but. Cette pièce m'a fait pleurer.
Pareil
every time i hear this song i swear its different
This song is too good to put into words even now 🙌🏼
its really hard to make songs happy/euphoric but not cheap at the same time, Madeon is a huge exception
Madeon is the most underrated producer in the EDM scene right now. Dawg can eat up Zedd, Kygo, Martin Garix.
Shiva Badola ZEDD is actually a really good producer.
緩やかなメロディーから一転して攻勢的な迫真のサビでノリノリになりました
2:10
一 転 幸 成
Now this was a dope track. Can't stop listening
One of my favorite NFS Rivals tracks
Madeon was 19 when he released this
yeah this is a masterpiece !!!
How old is he now? That's really amazing to think that people can be this good at something at a young age
He is 22 now :D
Look at him now, what a legend
him and porter
5:09 is so powerful 😻
This intro remind me Deadmau5 , Prydz too , and how producing is hard , toooo hard !
that “hope you like it” in the description warmed my heart
2:50 my fav part
This actually may be the greatest song ever made. Close you're eyes and take a journey.
This is a masterpiece.
The journey this song takes me on is indescribable
おきゃくさま~シコシコドッピュンにんじんしりしりこんなものぉ!!!!!!
it's still is the best..after 8 years
I think madeon and *insert random dude here* should collab
Carly Rae Jepsen
Paris Hilton (?)
porter robinson
He made a song with Lady Gaga.
Calvin Harris (?)
I can literally go back and listen to this work of art after hearing this 2:12 part in countless kpop related stuff. (MAMA2019 used this for Artist of the Year nominees.) I'M STILL OVERWHELMED AND REALLY MISSED MADEON. I HOPE TO SEE HIM SOMEDAY, I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOGNIZE HIM :))
