All she has to do is be smart enough to use the talent she has. Build a team around CC, many of the parts are already there. Just add a 4 who can run is a decent outside shot and can rebound (Sabally). Then add or draft some depth.
Boston has a reason to show up in shape. She had a great year and she will be in the gym with the rest of the team. Boston was reflecting that attitude of the league and coach
Next season will be a total ass kicking from game one. No more welcome to the W games and it will run through Cc fast and on point. Hope Cc doesnt play unrivil and stay healthy .
You "think" the team knew how bad a coach that Sides was? I guarantee every last one of them knew she was a terrible coach. But what they gonna do? Argue with the "boss" who can break their BB prospective careers?
I don't know enough about basketball to say that she's the best thing since sliced bread or just better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, but I read that she didn't do very well at Vanderbilt. So I'm not going to get all excited about things until I get to see her in action. I know that she's better than Sides, but that's not a very high bar to pass. Time will tell.
@@robertstanford1778 Plus Vanderbilt is a private institution on par with the Ivy League schools, the Stanfords, etc. Entrance requirements limit the types of athletes that can be recruited. Can you imagine Angel Reese at Vanderbilt?
As a college coach you can be a good X’s and O’s and teacher, but if you can’t recruit you will have trouble succeeding. You can bring out the most in your talent, but if it’s mediocre talent you can only go so far.
Thinking ahead .. Caitlin's great, but, I'd be interested in hearing Steph White's thoughts are IF Caitlin gets in foul trouble,, or something? Alot's on Caitlin, obviously.
@@markyg236 You know, .. I was thinking that very thing. Thanks. Have some kind of routine, when the Fever resume practices .. have drills where Grace is playing point .. and Cailtin's the wide receiver, on 1/2 court passes, and the like? They probably do things, like this already .. and Caitlin's game isn't going to learned overnight.
@@KingsHiway Yes, .. I recall her Hoosier background .. though, I didn't watch their games. She is sort of local .. as is Clark. Yep, I agree with the analysis of the 2 playoff games. Sides worst performance and the one that cost her the job more than anything else, because it proved she was still tempted to make previous mistakes again. People make mistakes, but those who keep making the same are the ones that end up in trouble.
But Mick, the whole league is levelling up. They’re not going to be playing the same broke down teams from this past season. The competition will be stiffer. But this is good for the W. The product is improving with urgency
To give credit to what Mick says... The Fever were 1st in EVERY O/D split you can count when NS was not on the floor..and they were below average when she was on the floor. Something like -192 +/- Defense attribute for NS...alongside a 50% SHTP for her. She doesn't belong on a WNBA floor tbh.
Nalyssa Smith? That's an insane take even if you don't like her. Shes twice as athletic as Temi and Dantas. And she averaged 15 as a 4th option. Doesn't belong on a Wnba court is a stretch lol.
@@SlimJim_Magoo She plays slow dude....she might be more athletic than Temi or DD, but she plays slow and that hurts the offense AND defense. I hope they find a way so that Caitlin isn't always double teamed and face guarded so much. You can't blame her for not defending off ball last season. She was gassed from defense pressure. Knowing her competitiveness, she's not going to want her scoring stats to drop to give others more scoring opportunities as some podcasters are predicting. If anything, she's working on increasing her percentages. Shaq once told Kobe to pass the ball. There's no "I" in team. Kobe replied, "But there's a ME, muthaf'er." We know Caitlin is a team player, but she loves to score too.
6:40 "..that doesn't mean their a bad coach. Doc Riv....not a good example" lol. If any basketball youtuber says Doc is a good coach that's an instant unsubsidized from me.

The WNBA still has to fix the officiating! Otherwise it is for naught!
on't look for thatto happen. The WNBA commissioner, sees no problem with them.
Agree
They really need to replace NaLyssa Smith with a better Big Player to be a top tier team
This. Smith can’t keep up with the pace of the team. That, and she’s not loyal. She doesn’t have CCs back.
Boston needs to show up in shape in 2026 and she will be great!
I hope she does in 2025!
Unrivaled will get her in shape. 3 v. 3 is fast and constant motion.
Mick! When Iowa bb starts are you going to start reviews? 😃
Iowa isn’t going to be as entertaining I’d rather watch usc
@@Flashyboo Lucy Olson has transferred to Iowa. Don't speak too soon.

AB better show up in shape next season instead of having to play herself into it. She was useless most of the first half of last season.
Let’s be charitable. She had some gift certificates to Boston Market
Funny thing. She already said basically the same thing.
Boston has a reason to show up in shape. She had a great year and she will be in the gym with the rest of the team. Boston was reflecting that attitude of the league and coach
I think AB will be fine. She knows now what is expected of her and like CC and the rest of the team, she wants a championship trophy.
AB will be motivated. She'll be alright.
With Sabally they win a championship.

Try for 10 pounds of upper body muscle. The other players need to feel it when they try to knock her around.

Great. Now PLEASE do not join Unrivaled CC
Go back to her last season with the fever. She ran a fast paced offensive with an aggressive defensive to push the pace. She is adaptable!
Defence needed, good thing they got rid of Celeste Taylor.
Maybe they can trade Dantas or Smith and get her back.
2025 will be great as a Fever Fan!!!!
