It’s an old video, I know. But these songs... they’ve become a part of me. I got my Xbox one and copy of battlefield 1 in 2016 during a low point in my life... and from the moment I booted the game I knew it was something special. It took me to a time period I didn’t know existed. It helped me recover from the low point. It inspired my writing, helped me make new friends, and made me cry. And the game was just a blast. And dear god, the soundtrack is enchanting. It’s now been 2+ years, and I can pinpoint exactly where I was in my life when I first heard each of these songs. This video brought tears to my eyes. Thanks for everything, BF1, my old friend.
I've had similar experiences in life that can relate to this! Video games can make it to where they get u by and will be there to make sure u get by!! Add the soothing music that some can produce to take u away and keep u mesmerized, you'll be listening to tracks that can take u back and uplift you. Try checking out a band called the Mini Bosses and see what they can do do for u...game on bud!!! 🤙🤘🎮🕹
Dude, reading your comment was like reading what’s in my mind everytime i hear this soundtrack! It’s just out of this world - enchanting like you said. And I will always pin point myself to that low point of my life. By the way, have you watched the national geographic mini documentary about WW1? It enhance even more the BF1 experience . Cheers bud, thanks for sharing your comment!
When you watch this in 2021 and get reminded of that one time where you and that one friend would get on your PS4 after school, and always take a plane and keep the skies clear of bombers, and just running around sniping. That was 2 years ago ;-; Thank you BF1, you have truly made spectacular memories Until another time old friend ;(
Battlefield One and the classic theme in classical layout are the only songs I have ever heard which gave me goosebumps and made teers come into my eyes. Ab-so-lute Masterpieces!
This game saved me when I started high school. I was very bad at social situations and I was barely holding on. This game introduced me to such a tight knit community, brought me into the world of reenactment, antique collecting and even journalism. Now out of high school, I have achieved much in the way of national publication competitions, made many friends; I have amassed a large antique collection, got involved in a WW1 reenactment community that does airsoft and I've even had thoughts to join the military. This game saved me.
I was in the same situation at school when I started playing it. I loved this game but it had the opposite effect for me. I used it to escape socialising and a lot of other things and it pulled me away from any sort of community which I've still never exactly found. Cutting out gaming entirely has helped me a bit but I miss this game for sure.
this was the first and only battlefield i played and the soundtrack got me from the first minute of gameplay. Now after almost 2 years of not playing it here i am with tears in my eyes. Just magnificent
FrenZy Mesa absolutely, i was used to cods but damn the soundtracks, weapons’ animation, game modes and maps.... just an amazing game. I tried playing it like 1 week ago but was almost dead and the few matches i played were full of pro players and cheaters :(
Tell me about it man. It's not my first BF game, but it's the game that made me love Battlefield agaiin. I wasn't a typical fan of BF 3 and 4. I just remember 1942 and Vietnam. So when BF 1 came out it made me feel nostalgia like no other. That's why BF 1 is so special for me. The operations battles were insane. It trully brings fond memories.
I love this game so much. I got it with my Xbox One and I’ve loved it ever since. It’s contributed so much to my love for history. It’s why I study the Great War so much. It’s why 1917 is my favorite film. It’s why I now pretend to be my own great grandfather when I’m playing for Italy. He served in the war and this game gives me just a taste of what his time was like.
I'll never forget Bf1942,BF:desert combat (1942 mod), BF2 or BC2 for as long as I live. Those games helped me make friends, feel hopeful about how depressing my outcome was growing up, and gave me a level of normalcy that I couldn't find where if I didn't have that I probably would've ended up ODing on heroine or some dumb shit instead to be completely honest. And the music is the base of why I love this sandboxy franchise even if 2042 was a flop. Even if they don't turn the franchise around I will always fall back to these beautifully orchestrated albums for each game :D
I bought my Xbox one s with battlefield 1 edition and that was my only game for months in my eyes that game was beautiful and when battlefield 5 came out it was everything I expected and more the feeling of raw battle without futuristic implements
Rafael Florentin Likewise, it was the first game on PS4 I actually enjoyed playing ( not only because I have an unfathomable love for the history of The Great War) and Saints Alive!, the soundtrack is closer to a classical orchestra symphony with the iconic battlefield theme, it was my first battlefield game and I just adored the theme, game, and the history of the contextual era it was set in.

Fantastic performance and music. The camera angle from behind the french horns picks up their melodies so powerfully!

This sound track gives me goose bumbs
3:45 You were sitting at the best spot since you're just behind the French Horns, which have the medly for the main theme.
Simply amazing
1:55 high pitched thing sounds so good here, somehow gives it a modern-ish vibe with the way it clashes
Tears are here to tell the story!! what an beautifull and great band!! and the game was even greater!!
The best battlefield I've ever played. Sorry BF4, but this guy surpassed you.
The Classic Battlefield Theme at the End Nailed it so Hard! OwO
