It happened. I've been on a journey of self discovery and self improvement, going to the gym and commenting here in some sort of silent vigil. Leaving this in my workout playlist to remind myself why I started. Why I lift. Why I work out. Why I am still alive. Someone finally asked me, "Hey, you look like you've been working out." It was such a simple thing, but it is the first time I'd ever hear someone say something like that to me. And while I am nowhere near my goal, the fact is that I have made a few steps on this road to tomorrow. To be the best I can be, because Billy showed me the way. But in that moment, it was because of my own efforts. My own decisions. I earned it. Thank you, Billy. I'll keep pushing towards that beautiful spring day when I can be big. Like you. I'm doing fifty reps tonight, on every machine. Low weights, but I want to see where I am. A body like Billy's takes years of discipline to achieve. But I'm up to the task.
Reading some of these comments, I realized I have no excuses. So I did ten push-ups, ten dips, and fifty squats. First dedicated exercise I've done in a decade. I feel ashamed at how much of a workout that was, but it's a start.

Been keeping at it, even if I could be doing better at it. Just got back from a camping trip where I spent the trip climbing and hiking, and not hanging around the camp. Been more physically active at work, and keeping up with people ten years younger. I still have a good amount of weight to lose, but I've been eating healthy and feeling great. Life is good.

Hello Aniki, I almost died some years ago due respiratory arrest because of panic atacks, I'm much better now and I'm still on treatment, have a good job and bought a house some months ago slowly trying to put my life together. I'm in my best shape benching two plates and squating three. Thank you to the gachi, zyzz and all the related communities I find the wholesomeness of the communities really inspiring.

I had a really spiritual moment at the gym one day where the crescendo of Van Darkholme's iconic FUCK♂️♂️♂️YOU hit right as I was finishing my set, and it just broke me down. I was exhausted, sweating, and destroyed. I was thinking of all the times I'd failed, all the things I wished I'd done and regrets, but as I lifted, as I pushed, there was this moment where I felt whole. Like for a very brief moment, I pushed BACK at a world that pushed me around. So, I stick around. This song was used by a number of popular youtubers, namely Berd and LazyPurple, and I like educating these people curious about what the source of gachi really is. It's been a whole 3 years without Aniki today, and it still hurts knowing that he isn't here to see the people that are inspired by his actions after death. This song is in my workout playlist. It comes up in my feed semi-often. I comment here as some sort of community, trying to educate those coming here from Lazy Purple or the Berd videos about just how iconic Billu was and how much he meant to his community.

Been keeping at it, even if I could be doing better at it. Just got back from a camping trip where I spent the trip climbing and hiking, and not hanging around the camp. Been more physically active at work, and keeping up with people ten years younger. I still have a good amount of weight to lose, but I've been eating healthy and feeling great. Life is good.

Hello Aniki, I almost died some years ago due respiratory arrest because of panic atacks, I'm much better now and I'm still on treatment, have a good job and bought a house some months ago slowly trying to put my life together. The main reason is this song is at the top of my workout playlist, to remind me why I started and where I want to go. I had a really spiritual moment at the gym one day where the crescendo of Van Darkholme's iconic FUCK♂️♂️♂️YOU hit right as I was finishing my set, and it just broke me down. I was exhausted, sweating, and destroyed. I was thinking of all the times I'd failed, all the things I wished I'd done and regrets, but as I lifted, as I pushed, there was this moment where I felt whole. Like for a very brief moment, I pushed BACK at a world that pushed me around.
So, I stick around. This song was used by a number of popular youtubers, namely Berd and LazyPurple, and I like educating these people curious about what the source of gachi really is.

This song is important to me, I don't know why, I always come back here. To pay my respects to a man who had so much love, an overall great guy. Someone I want to shake the hand of.
I am about to head out, for the next few short years. I will have no internet. No way to listen to this masterpiece that makes me feel this way. I will miss it.
The First time I listened to this I was in a bad place, I was deppresed and feeling awfully tired, I came across this video at 3am and there I sat in darkness listening, And then the beat dropped.

When I'm in the gym, or even just when it feels like everything is too much to handle, I remember Aniki and I know I will get through it.
