What an incredible gift from Frank-Peter! He is an amazing artist, his buildings, cars and slot car layout are amazing and I encourage everyone to see his work on his RUclips channel Frapego Models. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the entries to the 356 Grand Prix Challenge.

LOL!! That was quite the surprise! Another example of his attention to detail! As great as this building looks on screen, in person it is absolutely breath taking! Thanks so much for watching, commenting and subscribing, I really appreciate your support!

Wow, John! What a piece of iconic art is the ESSO station. I have been following Frank-Peter for a year, and he is an incredible artist.

That's quite a nice piece of vintage art you received from Frank Peters. The road sign & the pumps are pieces of art in their own right. As a young child, I still recall when the ESSO name was used on the US products that are now Exxon. I believe that was a world-wide name change. Now I'm waiting to see where this station ends up on your track layout.

I could not agree with you more! As great as the gas station looks on camera, it is nothing compared to seeing it in person. It is as if an actual 'Dudok' Esso station was reduced to 1/32 scale by a shrink ray of some sort!! Just stunning!! Interestingly, here in Canada, we still have "Esso" as a vendor of fuel. Thanks so much for watching, commenting and subscribing, your continued support means a great deal to me!

What an amazing piece of modelling work by Frank-Peter. One can only wonder how long it took him to make these models and the number of hours invested into the job. It surely does deserve pride of place on your layout. His competition entry looks pretty good as well.

Well, well, well. When I saw my notification bell was lit up and that you had received your first entry AND that the box was from Frank-Peter AND that the box was big, I knew you and (we all) were in for a special treat. Frank-Peter has locked up the Grand Prize for a new category : "Concours d'Elegance Category: Track Scenery" I can't wait till you find the little note from Frank-Peter that informs you that the pumps not only light up but pump petrol! 😉 Of course the Frank-Peter's Porsche is a gem too--I saw that on his channel a while back and it's beautiful. I know that after the race is concluded you'll be returning gorgeous cars to all the entrants, and I know what that feels like; but you are a blessed fellow to have a friend like Frank-Peter because you get to keep that work of art. And I also know how that feels. Well done. Well done. 👍👍

I could not agree with you more! It is an amazing gift of a stunning piece of art that will certainly have a prominent spot on our track! Frank-Peter's 356 is stunning in photos, but breath taking in person! The colour is more of a 'merlot' than purple as it appears on camera and is just lovely! Yes, what an incredible person Frank-Peter is, as thoughtful as he is talented. Mark, thanks so much for all of your wonderful words and most valued support, it really means a lot!

There isn’t much that I can add to the comments that hasn’t already been said. I just sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for when you feature his entry in the 356 Grand Prix.
P.S. You just need to add a figure behind the counter of Brent Butt to add a bit of Canadian gas station culture to the model.
