Very cool, you guys are so creative, i like the fact that is has all these diffent media; cassete, thermal typewriting, blog style typewriting, ink writing, stamps... the.lot!. Beautiful and an experience to watch. Thnx.
What fun! Thanks for sharing.
This is a super creative project Joe, you've all come up with a fun way to exchange letters & news etc.. It's nice to see the playfulness with this and reminds me of when I was younger and my friends and I created a club and made a den in the garden that needed a password to enter.
I'd love to know how Ted makes the silicone stamps?
Best wishes and Thanks for sharing this video.
That was so much fun to watch, you guys really are channeling childhood in the best way. I also have one of those fancy taperecorders by the way, they're great.
I saw this on typepals, and I wasn't expecting you to be the one receiving it! It's a pretty cool and creative idea, I wish I could join! I have no tape deck though...
I do happen to have a microcassette recorder, so I might join.
Hi Joe,
That's really neat. I've heard about tape and micro cassette tapes letters before, lol you got an espionage box there! It's on the lines of the old radio days of decoding messages kids did, or that mail service that tried to duplicate WWII mail several years back, I don't think it really ever took off. You could get a letter and a little canister of dirt from where the soldier was writing you from.
Very cool, thank you for sharing this and bringing us along.❤
Yay, it made it! :D
Thank you for making it happen!
You guys are cool
Let's hope the tape doesn't self destruct
I was more worried it’d get flagged for IP, but it’s short enough to be considered fair use!😏
Hi, Joe! I love your channel. I wanted to know if you've ever tried the Freewrite. If so, what did you think?
I have not tried it, but the latest version (the Traveller?) has cursor keys on the WASD keys for a bit more navigation throughout the document. I think they’re a bit pricey for what they are. I’m thinking about a home built version with eInk screen, Arduino controller and mechanical keyboard would be better, that would accept micro-SD cards.
The typewriter is floating. Is it a.miracle?
Why Olivetti failed?
