Those Ancient Mew cards brought back memories man. My friends dad owned a card shop when we were younger so he gave my brother and I a stack of them and we just found them cleaning during covid at the peak of the Pokemon hype and made close to $1000
if interested, if you grade all the mews most should be 9-10 on psa scale because it is pack fresh (unless the packs were jostled/damaged). Thats 20-30$ per profit on a 9, and 180$+ profit on a 10. On psa 8s you will break even or up 5-10$. This card is actually really important because it was the 1st pokemon movie and all the 90s kids basically watched it in theatre and talked of it the next day. This card has a super high population but an extremely high demand as you saw through your research. good luck

Every old pokemon collection has one of those in the binder - the card is just so nostalgic to a lot of people being from the first movie because everyone had one! It is a nice little memento from childhood even for casual pokemon fans.

I saw you pass the LOTR chess set by a few times - LOTR stuff isn't super valuable but I have a soft spot for the movies and have begun collecting any sort of LOTR merch I can find! Up here in Michigan there have not been that many sales yet, seems just south in OH and IN from watching other thrift/garage sale youtubers the season started early. This WAS an amazing sale for one of the first sales of the season, nice job! Hope I can find one and have first dibs like this when it finally starts

My daughter got into my old Pokemon cards and ripped open my Ancient Mew card from when I went to the movie as a child. Seeing that many unopened makes me wish I had been there to snag one lol. Good find.
2:18 You should always sift through bins of army men. Or look at the bottom of the tub. Tubs like to collect accessories and other related toys, just like Legos do. I can't tell you the number of times I've found vintage 80s accessories and toys in tubs of Lego.
Nice find I found a complete pokemon southern islands collection with sealed postcards and the cards are mint I was super excited never seen one in person till that day

Funny to see Ancient Mew finally worth more than $5. There are millions of those things in the international print. I still know people with 36''x36'' boxes FULL of them from the theater. I saw the movie opening night and when we left they let us take a bag full of them just to empty out their first box!

I got 30 of those cards from a sale for $5. Didn’t know how much they were worth at the time. Sold them all but two that I held onto. Very profitable.
