You are such a polite person it’s so refreshing to know there’s still people like that in the world. I pride myself on being kind to everyone I meet and I subscribed to your channel not only for the content but your kindness and manners made it a no brainer thank you for sharing your experiences!!! You rock!
I ceasing
If you were making $980 profit off of someone, simply because they don't know information isn't polite. Please and thank you's mean nothing if the person is robbing you. Lol. Offering the owner more money would have been the polite thing to do, not exploiting her ignorance. But that's just the reality of what you already knew.
@@AlwaysNerdyTV Garage sales are about getting rid of excess clutter in your house all at once. If the seller wanted to get top dollar for each item, they would, but it would take years of ebay auctions and a LOT of time. No one got cheated here. I'm pretty sure you've not lived long enough to have your own home, but if so, not long enough to accumulate a bunch of clutter that you don't use anymore. Most people throw stuff out instead of having a garage sale. They are happy if they make $100-$200 for the stuff they would've otherwise thrown out, PLUS they now have a cleaner house without all the clutter to go with the bit of money they made. This is how it works. I'm going to assume most people who complain about this type of thing are very young.
Growing up with my grandparents we would find garage sales almost every weekend together. I grew to love it very much as a kid. I haven’t been in probably 15 years and my grandfather passed away in 2015. I spend a lot of time watching these videos and reminiscing on those times as a kid :). Thank you!
Me and my grandparents had a similar sort of tradition. It also brings me back to such great memories when I see yard sale content too. :)
Guy getting in car "nothing here". Froggy walks away with heaping armfuls.
😂😂😂
Some people just don't know the value of goodies they pass on.
@@doriwilson6991 oh I am sure I do that plenty of times. Walk past some super high value items and don't even know it.
Remember your taste and their taste can be totally different, or just plainly don't have the knowledge you have!
@@lorenaramirez4418 yeah what I meant by my comment is that just because another reseller has gone through doesn't mean there isn't good stuff to get.
I just found this guys channel and I get so much positive vibes from him. He is so kind to the people at those garage sales. That just earned him a sub for sure.
Thank you so much!
I totally subscribed for the same reason!!!
I am a new subscriber. I love watching you and Pam shop!! You two make a wonderful couple and working together you seem to have a lot of fun. Keep up the good work. I love these videos I have learned so much from both of you when shopping at a garage sale. You are so kind to others. Your home is beautiful!
Was just about to say the same. Refreshing to see someone like him.
The respect is cool, for sure.
Your personality and your "graciousness" allow you to connect with people and when people feel good when interacting with others-then good things happen!
Thank you, man! I really appreciate that!

I totally agree!!

I couldn’t agree more! What a nice young man you are!
I love this type of culture. Its not normal in my country. We usually sell things to the 2nd hand shop or online. I think this is more fun n others can actually buy cheaper.
we have these in australoa alot we are very similar country to usa its much fun . Where are u from mrs.mzb?
Also here in italy is unknown this
In the netherlands we will sell everything online but no garage sales

Not a part of the garage sale but it's been many many years since Ive heard a wooden screen door close. A sweet sound of my childhood.
These videos have turned into my relaxing chill video channel! Something weird I’ve been doing since 2020. Keep the videos coming, they are extremely calming and interesting!
I learned going to yard sales never listen to someone that says they don’t have nothing because there could be something you want great scores😃
A year ago I probably would’ve been disappointed at that sale. Now I love that type!
I don't even listen to the owner's at the sales, doesn't matter what someone else saw, I can see things they can't and I'm also willing to dig too, most don't want to look under stuff or shimmy into a tight spot to grab something.
I have always heard if you see then buy it because it might not be there the next day
AA As aa-As sz
Not only don’t listen to people that say there’s nothing there, don’t even go by what’s there, ask about other stuff they might not have brought out!
I have been doing this longer than you are old. However, you could teach me a lot!!!! One tip for you though, try to have closer to exact change, looks like you run short of ones. I always have 200 ones on hand at the start of a Saturday. I will be working through all of your videos 2-3 a day. LOVE LOVE LOVE your content!!!!! VERY GLAD I FOUND YOUR CHANNEL!!!!
Note taken, thanks for the free game
That’s a good tip nothing worse than running out of singles
And one tip for you Steve woods quit this business as a gen z I have no interest in this stuff plus in the future maybe you won’t do the same profit that you do now
@@Manny30004 "I have no interest in your stuff so that means nobody does because the world revolves around me"
@@Manny30004 I get it, kinda feeling the same way.... I do like to "salvage" some pieces that were headed to the trash that were made in the 1940's and prior and hopefully save them until someone who really likes it comes along. Some of these things, like say a 1930's movie poster, we are just care takers of as they pass from one person who loves it to another.
Wish these yard sales were a thing in the UK. It's cool to see these interesting and sometimes historic items you can find. You're definitely one of the more respectful resellers I have seen. Some of them can be real jerks taking advantage of others, but you guys seem cool and quire knowledgeable of collectibles
watching this is like watching someone that has leveled their trade skill up to 100
Well thank you, I really appreciate that!

All these people’s garages and yards are so nice. I’m so jealous.
Garage sale season is just about to start up here in Wisconsin and I am pumped! I take days off from work when the big village or city-wide sales happen. This video has me pretty fired up!
You can definitely find Early vintage custom jewelry pieces, signed pieces are always a plus, not all are that valuable but you can find early ones here and there. Keep buying and sooner or later you can tell just by looking at them!
Something so satisfying about watching you pull out that wallet with all that cash and thumbing through for sales. Please don't ever remove this from videos. Subscribed!
I thought I was the only one x)
My parents would of loved you. You deserve great success in your life, you are honest, truthful and helpful, a great person.
I feel like such a dork watching these types of videos but i cant help it ! There is something fun about watching someone going out and i guess finding hidden gems among junk and then finding out how much its worth! Anyways enjoyed the video man i like how you do the break downs at the end!!
Great video upload. You certainly know what to look out for. I've tried doing such things but I'm forever buying items that I think are worth something but later turn out to be worth nothing. Subsequently I find myself accumulating so much stuff that I have no use for. Found myself listing and then relisting time-and-time again on eBay with little or no interest. Maybe one day I'll be lucky. Your video here was both enjoyable, entertaining and inspiring to watch. Thank you for sharing.
Step 1:Randomly pack stuff into boxes/bags
Step 2: Sell "mystery boxes/bags"
Its like ASMR for me watching you just rummage through everything the sounds make me fall asleep
same bruh
Man my wife would have KILLED to have the Coca-cola stuff you bought!!! She LOVES collecting stuff like what you found! That garage sale where you got all the good stuff was absolutely AMAZING!!!! You really scored with those comic books getting all of them for$20!!!!
yeah that was crazy! not even 25 cent a pcc from the amount lol . Dope find
That one with the big score? Somebody is coming home from college/service/somewhere and is gonna be PISSED at his mom for selling his collection off for nothing.
Which collection was that?

Great tip I learned. (I buy to upcycle) If something has a sticker that needs to be removed a small crafter's heat gun works awesome! Some hair dryers if hot enough work too. It melts the glue. Be careful and keep a bit of distance if the sticker is on that old fashioned crisp plastic packaging as it might warp it a little. Goo gone can be good for old sticker residue.
Wow, what an incredible haul! Your garage sale finds are always so fascinating. It's amazing how these sales can offer glimpses into people's lives and histories. Keep up the great work, and I can't wait to see what treasures you uncover next!
Its always so cool to tune into a Froggy Flips and see what he finds WOW Awesome scores buddy well done man !!💪kilking it at these sales :)
Im from the uk and i just look at the houses and the streets you visit . Its just beautiful
You should avoid 80's and 90's baseball cards. The going rate is usually $1 per thousand cards. They are more valuable if you use them instead of packing peanuts. That said I hope there is a hidden gem in that box you bought. Happy hunting.
Even 60's ad 70's ones are iffy.
My older cards that were worth thousands are worth nothing near what they were years ago. They're awful to try selling currently. Not bad if buying however.
Sometimes the backround racket is hilarious “Glen! Could you go get me something?”
Amazing scores. Just so you know, Christmas sells all year round.
Absolutely it does...these however, don’t sell for much this time of year 🤷🏼♂️ hopefully a little better in a few months. Thanks for watching!
I’m so jealous of that Olympus cameras you got. I’m a photographer and Them things are gold.
Why are they so good? I see them all over for pennies and I’ll start grabbing them if they are worth something
Ps I work at a second hand shop and do estate sales so I have lots of access just not all the knowledge
You hit it with the radio shack cars those are really sought after and even if they're not working you're still make a pretty penny on them
i love how you educate the viewers in the end. this is only reason why i watch you over other youtubers
Watching your treasure hunting is fun! I started to figure out that you were in Indiana and that made me subscribe! I'm originally from Indianapolis, living in North Carolina now. There is nothing like Hoosiers and yard sales! So glad you are making these videos! Happy hunting!
seeing those monster patrol RC monster trucks had me so happy.. I used to have one as a kid and I was SOOO obsessed with it.
What a great feeling. Thanks for that!
The last time i have been to a yardsale i was a little girl. Watching this video makes me think differently about second hand items.
you can tell this guy is a good man he not ripping people off like every other picker
Was so excited to see you buy the hankies and the Laurel Burch bag! I looked for the bag in your store but I guess I didn’t give you time to list any of it yet.
Great day of sales for you!!
Thanks! Yeah, hopefully I’ll get them listed in the next day or two. Started with the HALO figures 💵😀
i gotta say i cant stand yard sales and i absolutely HATE when wifey brings things home from the side of the road, but ive watched like 4 of your videos in a row and man it is extremely satisfying and calming to watch you look thru all these yards
Haha, well thank you so much!
Really Great finds Anthony! love the cat bag, the Jewelry is wonderful! Good for you! Awesome video, enjoyed it very much !!!!

Awesome finds my friend!! Look out for millefiori glass beads! Saphiret glass jewelry.. 👌always keep in mind most gold pieces especially brooches, aren't hallmarked. Some rings are sized and the hallmarks have been removed. Also, you occasionally find real gemstones or diamonds in costume rings. Stay blessed *
You can Test for Bakelite. Original 409 cleaner, dip a Cotton Swab in the 409, rub on the suspected Bakelite for a few back and forth motions. If the cotton swab turns a florescent green or yellow, it's Bakelite. It has to be original 409, no lemon or other additions. Also cotton swabs must be 100% cotton. Try to rub in an inconspicuous spot, and then rinse it off when you are done. Don't get it on rhinestones also. Hope this helps!
Why can I not stop watching your videos? This is great content!! Just subscribed
Thanks so much!
I love the moment when you put that cat bag on the chair and at the same time a cat appears from under the chair haha. Great channel , wishing good times ☀️
I noticed that one of those first sales you went to with the reptile tank looked really similar to one I went to recently but thought, “naw what are the chances” then I saw you’re located in IN! Likely was the same one then!
From an old picker you never ever go wrong with jewelry, One day it will shine!!!
This makes me just wanna try re-selling and such as a hobby and see how it goes. Awesome vids love watching been, watching for a few days now love the content. Good luck on your sales and stay heathy buddy much love.
Do so on something you know to start. If that happens to be sports stuff, video games, ect ect. Get good at flipping a passion of yours then graduate to other stuff slowly.
Don’t do it unless it’s something you truly enjoy. This is a hobby that pays, or a “hobby” that destroys.

also matters not only if there are sales but how long does it take to sell
Did you ever start?
Ok, great concept, but how long does your house have to be hoarded until the items are sold⁉️ Is there a high turnover of items and if so how long are we talking about here⁉️ I don't want my house or garage filled with crap hoping it sells, eventually.
Ha ha! I love your jingle! when they hear the cha-ching and they all look at me, I guess that is when they know why I buy all this crap!
Just found these yard sale / swap meet RUclipsrs and I love it ! People don't realize the treasures you can pickup for dirt cheap because someone has no idea what they're selling lol Idk HOW that Versace glasses case was still on that table for 25¢ lol
Damn that guy was nice for pointing out the other sales in the area, I could easily see people being stingy about that kind of thing.
I have a decade's worth of those Hallmark singing Snowmen lol. I get those for my grandma every year for Christmas.
Lots of cars & it looks like a pretty good sale, I see some interesting stuff & honey too! #2 cool canvas bag. #3 baseball cards & nice picture #4 looks like a good haul #5 good day for you & good haul, thank you💠

The Harley bear was a build-a-bear that included the motorcycle. comps $30-50 depending on condition.

New to the channel and just started my own small business. Keep up the good work. Love watching and learning from you .
this is not just a 1000$ worth its a TREASURE mah bro 🔥🔥🔥
All my childhood fantasies. What treasure. Love it, bro.
Rule of thumb for baseball cards. NEVER buy lots from the 80’s. During the 1980’s more card brands produced, so it wasn’t just topps. You know have topps, fleer, donruss, etc. because of this, 99% of cards from the 80’s are worthless. The 90’s however has some awesome potential because you can hit huge rookie cards such as Derek Jeter. If I buy baseball cards it’s usually pre 80’s or 90’s. Hope this helps :)
But basketball is a different story..

My brothers and I had the monster patrol trucks and those things would climb a tree. Best RC truck I have ever owned.
If you still have the thimble set from Avon? I would love to have it. I am a seamstress and I have some vintage things in my sewing room.

Does anybody else get amazing ASMR from these videos? Particularly the sounds of picking up and putting down items
Drives me batty. I like the videos, but those noises you speak of grate my nerves (i may have Asperger's)
Even all the way back in 2013 I was picking up HALO figures for around $5 at a local Fred's before they closed and reselling for between $20 and $40. The mega bloks sold like crazy especially the rare ones like the transparent figures.
I really enjoy your channel, but I can’t even imagine the time involved in listing the items from just that one tag sale. It’s mind boggling. Is it hours , Days , a week ?

I like how you say I will list these items for $1,000 unlike many TV and yt programs which automatically attach a value and count their profit before they actually sell the items. It's clear you understand completely the old adage that an item is worth just exactly how much sun one is willing to pay for it
