I had the opportunity to explore and buy from a vintage toy and comic collection that spanned decades. These vintage treasures had been proudly on display in a basement for 40+ years. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I ended up walking away everything from vintage MOTU to Star Wars to Kenner Super Powers to Golden Age Comics! Come along for the ride to explore the Basement Time Capsule Toy Collection!

Such a fun collection. Part of the fun for me when froggy picks up some of these complete figures is seeing the accessories w the action figures. I was so young I forget abt so many of them. Funny how nostalgia works like that 😀

This video kinda makes me sad. Not necessarily in a bad way, but more so in a melancholy way that time is slowly ticking away for all of us. That gent's mom just seems like such a sweet, nice, and kind soul. And it's sad that she has to part with a lot of her beloved collection she's acquired throughout her life, due to downsizing. I'm really glad a lot of her treasures are going to Froggy, who will most certainly give all those amazing finds a good home, and keep her stories going, or at the very least find new owners will appreciate it just as much as she did. Not sure if she'll see this, but I wish her the best with her move, and she has/ had an amazing collection!

we are all born to pass on one day. its just awesome to see these toys being preserved, so someone younger can also have them in their collection for years to come

I actually had to stop the video a few times bc the woman selling her stuff talked exactly like my Mom, she passed away last year. So it's been hard but this channel and a few comedy podcasts and horror /Sci fi pods are some of the only times I can feel happy / be distracted, even if just for a little bit. So thanks again froggy, thanks for sharing your hobby /livelihood in an entertaining and fun way. You rule!
@@theramplocal yeah, I felt the same way. the lady reminds me of my mom too. Again, just a sweet nice kind hearted soul. I too had to pause the video once or twice, cause I teared up a bit as well. Thankfully my mom is still here with us. But I hugged her extra tight the next time I saw her. Time is short, cherish the people you love while you can.
I'm so sorry to hear about your mom passing away last year. I lost my dad a few years ago, so i know the pain. I too try to distract myself with whatever I can to not think about it too much, cause it doesn't take much to break. But at the same time, I cherish every memory I have of him. I was lucky to that wonderful man as a father. As I'm sure you were lucky to have your mom as your mom. Keep them in your heart, and mind. They deserve to be remembered for the kind hearted people they were. Wish you the best! Stay strong friend!

Love seeing the Vintage toys coming home to a new collection. I just get very nostalgic when I see these toys knowing we all had these as kids and they stopped making them so there hard to come across.

Those super powers figures look to be in fantastic condition! All the accessories, tight limbs, nice capes. Man, she really took good care of her stuff!

Man, I love the collecting community, it's crazy, we all just want to protect these weird little things that bring us joy, knowing that one day, it will be let go to another person worthy of that responsibility and to bring them a lifetime or however many years of joy. Onward.

Such awesome stuff. I had a lot of this as a kid, but my dear mum boxed it all up and donated it when I left home thinking I wouldn’t want it. I never really thought about keeping it, but I did have the entire original TMNT collection still sealed.

I'm not a toy collector but even I got overwhelmed (in a good way) when I saw the huge collection of so many different things in one place.

Wow that golden age Batman comic is definitely something I would love for my collection as well!.such a great find Froggy!..also it’s cool to see so many complete DC Super powers figures..I’ve always liked the Batman, Joker and Penguin figures from that particular set and also I like those Jetsons mini figures you found the love I have for Hanna Barbera came out big time when I saw those and that Dino the dinosaur form Flintstones as well 😄👍🏼
Great collection sad to see her give it up but this video just proves that life/time is very fleeting, so enjoy the things you have and every moment of life because it passes you by before you know it.
