I visit this event yearly looking for vintage toys and pop culture collectibles. Honestly, could not believe the amazing stuff I was able to hunt down this year. I’ll be shocked if I have a more exciting vintage toy hunt in 2024!

Anthony, I came upon your channel by accident awhile back.
I had watched the early shows where you were struggling making ends meet. You would often take your young son along
as you looked for anything to flip for a few bucks. That was then and now tbings are quite different

You know your videos are good when someone like me who collects baseball cards and such and owns ZERO toys still watches most of your videos. Doesn't hurt I grew up with some of the toys though... lol.

You Couldn’t of said it better. I’m a huge card collector and don’t do anything with toys but froggy is one of my favorite channels too watch. Been following along for years
I also collect baseball cards. But I have collected coins, stamps,comic books, non sports cards, toys, etc. I chose cards years ago because they take up less space.
You know his videos are good when a man from holland who has no idea about all these figures or american toys from the 60s-70s-80s watches every video.
Froggy treats his fans so well. Such a stand up dude. Awesome to see his impact on the collecting community.

14:20 the big yellow sticker is German, the small black sticker beneath it is Dutch and French.

It’s the case to a Gremlins Water Hatcher made by LJN. The case originally came with Gizmo and Stripe mini figures. You popped them in a glass of water and they would expand double in size. I believe That they where withdrawn from the market as a kid had choked on one or had the mini rubber like figure stuck in his throat. A nice rare find even if just the case. 👍
You nailed it. Definitely recognized it as a gremlin and the mohawk screamed of Stripe, but couldn't find anything related to candy. Thank you for posting, mystery solved!

Hey there Anthony! That Little Monster "Candy Holder" is a LJN Gremlins Water Hatcher Toy. You got it with a Gizmo and Stripe water growing figures. The Holder you have is Stripe.

The gargoyle looking ball thing is a gremlins product. I had one as a kid. It came with 2 toys that grew in the water. You out them in that thing, submerge it all it water and they bust out of it. The one I had came with an orange mogwai and a brown gremlin fir the grow toys. They were called gremlins water hatches.

There are very few channels that I anticipate watching as soon as released: Mike the Scavenger, interrogation videos, Brian Barczyk, Joe Rogan, Mr ballen, and Froggy Flips. I hope that I did not cross a line giving specific names. I can take off the names if needed. This channel just makes me happy, as Anthony invites us on his next adventure as he digs through the layers of nostalgia. He is the kind of guy who seems hard to dislike. I love his passion, and keeping my generation of toys alive.
Yeah, this was a great haul especially as someone who grew up playing Thundercats on the playground.

I love the fact that I find all these items to be close to junk (maybe that´s harsh and I should say not interesting). You might ask why I say that. Well it just goes to show how personal collecting toys is. That´s also the reason I love your channel. You collect and share stuff you like and love. It´s just so much fun seeing other collectors get excited about toys they connect to. Being a nerd for your childhood toys is just the best and so much fun. Not sure if some already mentioned it, but that little candy holder/gargoyle thing is from Gremlins. I had one back in the day, it would splint in half and have a mini Gizmo and Stripe inside. You’d put them in water and they would grow.
Anthony I love “geeking” out over each and every video you put out. As a mid 50’s yo guy I can relate to all the kick ass toys you buy. The crazy part is I am a avid collector of vintage Halloween from the 1910’s to the 1960’s and own none of my old toys growing up. But from one collector to another it brings me joy and happiness to see what you find each time a video comes out. Thanks for doing what you do!!! Love it!!

Ive never heard of power lords before, but some of those figures looked like they were designed by Wayne Barlowe and reminded me of his artwork from his alien guide book and sci fi covers, and yep - they are! Good find!

Wow, I had PowerLords as a child and didn't know it. I had the purple bug guy with the red wings, and the strange tan head guy in the blue suit. I never knew their back ground, or story or toy line name. They were just odd fun figures. I can tell you Purple bug guy took out many GI Joes before Matt Tracker and Bruce Sato in Rhino mowed him over with it's massive chrome push bumper.
I had some great toys as a kid. Tyco US-1 Trucking set with extra stops and fire house, built on a layout with HO Trains, complete with train crossings in the slot track. It was all built in the basement on green painted plywood tables dad made. He put buildings and street lamps that lit up, trees and little people. And I'd turn the General Lee slot car loose on it, and try to out run the trains. A whole finished attic area that was pure lego heaven. Space area, City area, knights area. I had my city area built up, and dad helped wire it up with low voltage lamps so it too had street lamps and the buildings glowed. I was very into miniture worlds, an I atribute part of that to the early 1980's HBO intro reel, in which the camera swept over a model town, into space. ruclips.net/video/GjYDBLnHE1Y/видео.html

I was born in 61 so a lot of what you collect is from a younger generation but I still enjoy learning about and seeing your excitement when you find the stuff. I definitely see the appeal I mean fun & cool never gets old 😅 love your vids your getting quite the fan base out there its gotten to the point at home when I'm on my phone watching RUclips my wife says "are you watching Froggy Flips again lol 😂

That was gremlin in your $30 haul. It came with a water growing gremlin (stripe the gremlin) inside. It grew to a foot or so.
Power Lords SCORE! Easily the coolest toy line of the 80's. Strange and magical and horrifying.

Love the videos. I'm mainly a comic guy for the last 40 years, I just finished the vintage star wars figures collection, only took 10 years lol, minus the last 17 and now I'm onto 70's micronaughts. nostalgia. Looking forward to more videos in the future. Cheers!
