Went to yard sale where the widow was selling all of her husband's collections. Setting there on a saw horse was a silver inlaid parade saddle for $200. I picked it up and carried it into her garage just as her daughter arrived. Told the daughter do not sell that saddle for less than $5000. When I told some people that story they thought I was crazy for not taking advantage of a bargain. I dont think so.

The daughter showed up to protect and help her mother who might have been in the early stages of alzheimers or dementia. She obviously did not know the value of things.

Killer Deals! The flutes - I am a retired band director, and as such know that virtually any flute at a garage sale will need between $75.00 to $200.00 repair work to place one in playing condition. So though you may see comps on eBay for $300.00 you must subtract the cost of repairs when purchasing (which it looks like you did) but I just wanted to caution everyone to be careful when buying unless you can actually test play it yourself. The same is true also for clarinets, and saxophones.
On the left side of the video Polk Audio Tsi 400 in-box great speakers, particularly at this price level of $100 or so beautiful design. Clarity, high tone, and rich bass.

You were always so polite and courteous to people. That goes along way. It amazes me that people don’t have things priced, and then say what do you think it’s worth? Take the time to price items and you’ll sell them a lot quicker as long as the price is fair.

The yard sale with the iron weighs, they were more than happy to call you when they found the extra one, because you displayed a great attitude and were being a decent person. I really like seeing integrity in someone doing what you do, I am the same way, I also educate people at some of the sales on technology based items, especially ones that I am not interested in just to help them out, I also have a computer repair business in addition to the garage sale flipping and storage units I am buying, I really enjoy your videos, it is helping me with ideas for my videos, sure hope I can crack into growing a subscriber base!

Thanks so much and I’m glad it helps! All books are different but if you look at a combination of copyright dates and certain number codes you can often determine first edition, first print, 2nd print etc. it gets a little confusing but I’ll try to go more into detail about it in the future!
Just got caught helping my nephew's son who's just getting started selling Cutco. I told my kids I'm leaving them in my will to them. The steak knives are about $80 apiece. Geesh!
