    For some reason i forgot to mention that they only made 1500 of these. That's why they were numbered.

    Seimitsu makes the coolest looking sticks imo. I have the lsxq and I really love the attention to detail and the time the take in the package makes it look and feel really premium.
    To me the cleanest looking ls-32 is the black evo with this being a close second.
    Did you try out all the springs? If so what's your thought on the lightest and the second strongest ?

      Hi, thank you for commenting ✨
      Pleasure have you on my channel even though content on it is dead for now.
      The lighter spring is insanely light but some might like it. And the stronger spring is between a standard one and an LS-38/Nobi Pro spring, so it’s a great option for it if you like heavier springs.
      When i play shooters i use the standard one, and if i would play fighting games i would definately use the stiffer one.
      Also if i played fighting games with the LS-32 i would get a taller shaft and use the metallic pivot.
      But for me personally i use the 32 for classic games/shooters, and use a Nobi Pro for fighting games.

    The intro music and FX in your videos sounds familiar, where did you take it from?

    • @arcadedbeast
      @arcadedbeast  2 года назад

      Hi, Thanks for stopping by. I made the music for this video. It kind of sounds familiar because it's a common type repeating bass. My future videos will have a lot more music when i have time to make more videos and properly start this channel. The FX is just a combination of two different samples.

    I finally purchased one of these, I had to, I think I will use the balltop on a green shaft and green dust covered ls-40, with that 1.75lbf spring! I have just seen that arcade shock now make a 1.5lbf seimitsu spring in onyx colour too, I wonder which will be the better srping but sometimes I think. Use the spring that the arcade players used,, a constant battle of whether to mod or keep stock for improvement or to keep it traditional and faithful! 👍🏻 Hope you're doing well bro would be awesome to see some more vhsnnel content 🕹

      Thanks for your message. Glad you got one!
      For the last while i've had too much going on but now i've filmed the footage and gameplay for Nobi reviews and Silent JLF vs Silent LS-40 videos and i just need some voice over and edit them together.
      I have used the Nobi STD and PRO for about 400 hours each and i recently changed my original thoughts about which one i favored so it's been good that i have actual good hours on both.
      Can't promise a time but i will try to get them done soon ish and after those i should have the formula down so i can make more videos quite often.

      @@arcadedbeast have to say, the lighter spring, less than standard tension, I think could be perfect for the ls32, shame its such a limited edition spring though! The ls-40 is probably perfect stock but maybe that slightly stiff spring does make it perfect at the same time I like to use the faithful stick of the game I'm playing so I almost feel like, if I go to Japan or a convention, they will be using stock items there, so I have that conflict in my head when it comes to mods, what do you think? 🤔

      Thanks for the suggestion. I will definately do that. I drew it on Cad and it turned out really great.

      @@zenithjcoke Thank you for the reminder! I have been really busy lately. I will make a full review of the Seimitsu LSX (Nobi designed) Pro and Standard joysticks first and then i'll get to the VLX.

    • @arcadedbeast

      @@zenithjcoke I know what you mean by the regular LS-32 being irregular that some directions hop more than others. I always turn the base with the least hop to the right, where i apply the most force and set the PCB and mounting plate to fit that direction.
      I think Seimitsu has much better machinery than they did before because the 40th and Nobi stick bases are perfectly molded and maybe when they sell their stock of classic ls-32 they will use the improved mold of the 40th on those too.
      The 40th spring also works great on the Nobi when a ball top is attached. With the bullet top it's too light.
      I have a ton of videos coming but it will take an x amount of time to plan and shoot everything and i have the new Silent LSQ-40 in the mail also coming this weekend or on Monday.
      And i have an LS-38 in the mail because i want to include that spring in both Nobi stick reviews.

    Man I feel that 1.76 spring would be perfect for the ls-40, have seimitsu only made it for this box set so far?

    • @arcadedbeast
      @arcadedbeast  3 года назад +2

      You are correct that it's perfect for the LS-40.
      I would say the default spring is just right for shmups and the 1.76 is just right for fighting games.
      They do have it in the new metal bearing LS-32 that just came out a few weeks ago. I don't know if it's exactly the same spring since international websites don't have the joystick yet but they do advertise that it's about the same.
      Link to their own store with the metal bearing LS-32

      I'm still working on the LSX-Nobi Standard and Pro model review. I actually finished the video a while ago but decided i need to rethink the format since i want this channel to be the #1 resource for Japanese arcade parts with good production value.
      They are somewhat based on the LS-40 with tigher springs and an all new pivot design, so i think you'll like the Nobi model/models.
      I'll have the review done within a week from now for sure and will try to post new review every week once i've figured out a good format.

    • @Ozyrus
      @Ozyrus 3 года назад

      @@arcadedbeast you know what I emailed seimitsu about these springs and got no reply, may try again, I have seen on a Japanese site that the LS-40 now comes with a different gate, it seems to be more square, less rounded and wider dimensions longer throw

    • @arcadedbeast
      @arcadedbeast  3 года назад +1

      @@Ozyrus You might have seen a photo of the silent LS-40. It has a longer throw to make it easier to use because you can't hear the switches like usual.
      Also the LS-40 has now gotten the Omron switch upgrade that the LS-32 got in 2017 because Panasonic stopped making the classic switches.
      And the old gate doesn't fit together with the new switches so they had to change the 4 corners to make it fit. I'm not sure if the gate has changed because they don't sell it outside of Japan yet.
      Seimitsu will not sell springs from the limited edition joystick but they do sell an LS-32 that has a metal bearing and that comes with a similar or same spring as the tighter spring on the ls-32 anniversary. I haven't seen that outside of Japan either but it should be coming soon.

    • @Ozyrus
      @Ozyrus 3 года назад

      @@arcadedbeast ah that's interesting to know it accommodates the silent one, I managed to get two original ls-40s recently and some original microswitches, should last a while. Don't know if id get the limited edition just for that spring haha, but who knows, the ball top is pretty cool as is the whole package tbh. The metal bearing is interesting, buttercade has done a metal bearing for the Jlf I think, I wonder though if that just increases wear and tear on the parts that aren't metal, got the V5 otto, but I dunno about the metal overall, must weigh more too. The longer throw on the new style ls-40's makes me wonder if its going to be a middle ground between the OG ls-40 and the LS-32, or maybe it will just feel like an LS-32.
