These are good people. I would be ashamed to be less than noble in their presence. Would you please let them know that they have touched hearts all over the world.
I agree. I am moved by their reactions as much as the music.
What would you if you're deployed to bring them 'democracy'?
@@danawinsor1380 They are good people...
@@sparklemotion8377 your question makes no sense....these people are Indians...they have democracy

Seeing all 3 of them with their eyes closed, fully absorbed, was so moving. The amount of respect they have for the world constantly increases my respect for them. Beautiful souls, each of them.
You said it much better than I- completely agree❤
@@radicalmama135 I completely agree with you lol Brooke said it much better than I would've.
Hope they never google the translation...
Well put. Love these guys.!
They're open mindedness is what I love.❤
Another great chant for them to listen to would be "Misere mei, Deus"
One of the most beatiful songs ever.
Not gregorian, but polyphonic. The story behind Mozart transcribing the secret Vatican work by ear and reproducing it after his journey back to Austria is epic.
Might as well show them Halo at that point.
So beautiful. One of my favorites.
Yes! That is a beautiful piece indeed.
That’s one of my favorites!

I am suprised that the automatic translation actually got that through so well. And yes I agree. 😊
These village men are so wonderful. I love to watch them. The language is Latin it is still sometimes sung in Catholic Churches
My parents remember when the priests would be in a pulpit facing the crucifix speaking Latin the whole time.
@@robertcampomizzi7988 I’m probably from your parents’ generation I remember it too
I am from India and my parents would have mass in Latin when they were young. This is around 1950. It was a small town. Yes the priest would face the crucifix and the prayers and replies were in Latin. They couldn't understand a single thing but they knew the prayers by heart lol. Now of course the masses are in English and in regional languages.
I was taught Gregorian chant in the original music format long ago in grade school. You do become wholly immersed in the chant while you are singing it.
@@robertcampomizzi7988 Our family currently assists at the Traditional Latin Mass every Sunday, and this chant is sung on All Souls' Day and at Requiem Masses.
These three men are amazing to watch and learn from. They have touched my jaded soul and helped me to appreciate the world again.
It's so pleasing to know there is a place where the tribal elder is still respected
Their hearts are so pure and open and this made my day!!!
Babu's reaction was heart-warming, but I found Raeen's reaction especially fascinating. He seemed to be sunken in a state of _analytic_ contemplation, silently admiring the artisanship of the chorals and trying to get behind its _meaning_ . He obviously listened to it as a _thinker_ .
Hope to see them react to more music styles soon. Heavy metal as a counterpoint? ;D
Some of Raeen's observations have been a level or two above Babu's. I'd love to see what they think of Rammstein live concerts and mosh pits.
I feel like I would be great friends with these guys, especially Raeen.
Oh no my friend. Not heavy metal. Fragments of Mozart.
They should react to slipknot or pantera
Edit: or mudvayne

Respect. Something our country has lost. Much love and respect to these 3 gentlemen.
The chants "Alma Redemptoris Mater" (solemn tone), "Caro mea" communion antiphon for Corpus Christi and the Improperia of Good Friday are stunning as well.
As a Christian, this was beautiful to watch. All pray 🙏🏻 is beautiful.... praise be to God
These simple peope are so wholesome. I love these folks.
So glorious, the chanting so pure and how respectful the three gentlemen are. Wonderful example to all of us.
I love singing and listening to Gregorian chant and I really enjoyed watching these men react to it. This is my first time seeing one of their videos and I'm looking forward to seeing more. Definitely subscribed!
Although what I want to say has been said by these many people, I wanted to add more than a like to the comments. I enjoy watching these gentlemen react to many things outside their world. To see the respect and understanding of the power of other religions touching their hearts brought tears to my eyes and I am not an overly religious person. Bless them all🙏🙏
These three men are an inspiration to me. Thank you for your time gentlemen. 🙏❤️
î never knew i needed you folks in my life, but i do. thank you and much love from germany.
Dang Sarru, that yellow clothing looks absolutely amazing. Where I come from people rarely wear bright-coloured clothes and it's just a pleasure to see you rocking that style!
The universal power of music right here. Beautiful.

These guys are so humble. I love them.
Babu made the sign of the cross.
Babu respects all religions because no matter what we call Him, there’s only one God.
So, God doesn't get to decide what his name is?
You're trying to be inclusive but actually you're telling God that He cannot communicate properly.
He came to this earth in the form of a man his name was Jesus Christ.

I love how the grandad just gets on with trying to sing along! ❤
It is so great to see the universal Christ right before our eyes. It's not about color or creed or religion. God can reach us anywhere, at any time. These three gentlemen understand that perfectly. Thank you so much for sharing.
God bless you guys for the respect 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
These are the most uncommon common men. Such dear spirits.
The old chap put on his glasses to listen haha
I love their reactions, very honest, I wish everybody felt like this about religion. We all try to be the best versions of ourselves, and we all worship to the best of our abilities. I think He knows and he doesn't care by what name you call Him
I had tears in my eyes. Why did we forget our culture and tradition in Europe? Why someone from outside should open our eyes?
We dont. We just have other occupation now
I completely agree with Babu. We have the same view....God is ALWAYS good. It doesn't really matter what name you use, or how you worship, God is still God, prayer is AMAZING, and it's not always important to understand the words. The HEART and SOUL understand. Music is something that just makes it so powerful, it can reach anyone, even God himself, or a band of angels. We react in similar ways, with raised hands, praying hands, or hand on heart.
FANTASTIC. The world needs more of this. ❤️
I have watched 000s of videos on youtube. This might be the most wonderful. Greetings from Scotland.
That chants are very soothing. I also to them
Babu lives with wonder in his heart. And that makes the world better.

Music truly is the language to cross barriers
I just wish more people of the older generation were like Babu and taught their sons some of the lessons he seems to have learned. He's really a great example.
Praise to those with an open heart they are truelly gods faithfull subjects and deserve all the respect we have within ourselfs whatever religion they follow :)

Love your music and prayers too xx
Fabulous. I wish there was more content like this. This heals my tired, frightened, and weary heart. What revenant and loving men. The world is indeed a small place,; and God is God no matter what we choose to call the Divine One.

Congratulations to Babuu and the other guys who enjoyed the Christian Gregorian chants on let these chants soothed their heart and filled them with peace... and even Babuu made the sign of the cross, the sign of my Religion: Christianity...
I noticed that he signed the cross aswell, it's amazing the power the lord has
As a Christian I am disappointed by the comments by so called Christians saying hateful and hurtful things to other living souls. Only God knows the true state of our salvation which will be shown on judgement day no matter what religion. Be kind, compassionate and loving above all else.
I love it! These dudes are great!
"Prayer is prayer, no matter what religion is.."
Remind me of me as a Christian hearing Kirtan Sohila (recitation) from Snatam Kaur (Sihk). It was so beautiful.. brought tears to my eyes.
I should hope that one day I will be as wise, gentle and kind as Babu.
I actually understood some of that! Pie Jesu Dominae.
Music *is* worship, and it's quite right that over the world we try and express ourselves as beautifully as we can, certainly it's universal.
What lovely people.
May I suggest "O Fortuna" by Carl Orff, with translation. I'll guess that there are themes that resonate with all people universally.
I love how open minded they are
Gentlemen, thanks for sharing 🙋🏻♀️
Amazing as a Catholic myself blessings 🙌
I wish they could listen to Te Deum next. That song is behind beautiful. There's a video on RUclips called "Old Gregorian Chant [4th c.] ~ Te Deum ~ Latin & English lyrics"
I'm not religious and this was truly moving to watch
7:28 ' *If an atheist also listenes to this prayer, the webs of his mind will be cleared* '
Spoken with as much eloquence as a professor of Theology.
A true human being respects all religion. Love comes first, then the religion.
Assuming the subtitles are correct, I love that these men admit to not knowing "what" god is.
Many dogmatists claim to know and claim to know what god "wants" as well, and thus fight wars over those petty assumptions.
This moving Gregorian chant is but one of the traditions that progressives cast aside when the Catholic Church was "modernized" in the 1960's. A local Trappist abbey ditched it and switched to guitar Masses instead. Thankfully, its coming back again. Wonderful to see how these men experienced it, music truly is a universal language.
It's so nice they respect all religions. Ppl in the West need to take notes.
harmonical music reminds the soul of home
I hope they were told how old this Georgian Chant is. Recorded in 1994, written in the 9th and 10th centuries.
I listen to all types of religious chants and Azhan they are classical peices that have real emotional values and feelings in them.
After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, "Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!" And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures, and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, saying, "Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might be to our God forever and ever! Amen."
Revelation 7:9-12
this is so wonderfully human
Dunno about others the chant always gets me the memory of the Omen original one...
Gives me goosebumps! 💞
Although I am not religious, I have immense respect for these three gentlemen. They see the world as I see it, it doesn't matter what you believe have respect for each other. And I also believe that you should not use your religion as an excuse to subjugate other people/believers. My motto is ; live and let live
Three are learning from these videos, the rest of us are learning from them.
Your ears may not understand the words but your soul does :)
Pls Show the guys the beautyfull landscape of Switzerland and the swiss railways.
Ive been raised in a dedicated Christian family and i went to church most of my life. But it isn't about who is right or who is wrong. We all praise the same God and i truly believe God knows all of our hearts and our intentions and i respect these fellow believers of God as much as any Christian. At the end of the day we are all seeking to glorify our creator and i wish nothing but joy and happiness for you all
That's a Catholic prayer for the Dead. We sing that during funeral and when the Holy Mass is said in Latin. It's about the judgement and wrath God. Gregorian Chant was named after Pope Gregory the Great. Gregorian chant is the official chant of the Catholic Church, you can still hear that in monasteries, Cathedrals, Vatican of course and churches saying Latin Mass.
Classic Catholic false doctrine.
Everything the Catholics do violates the principle that Jesus actually died for our sins... Jesus died for my sins and I'm dead then I'm in heaven, why would you need to pray for me?
@@brianhale3678 Because people who claim to be saved commit evil in God's name.
@@brianhale3678 Jesus never said that all people will go to heaven tho
How do you get to hell?
Very simple: claim that you're innocent.
How do you get to heaven?
Very simple: Admit that you're not Innocent, you're guilty and ask for mercy.
How to know if you're guilty or not?
Simply: Compare your life to the Ten Commandments God gave you in the Bible.
Everyone agrees that if people followed the ten commandments there would be no need for governments or police.
Do not lie.
Do not steal.
Do not commit adultery.
Do not insult God by using his name as a cuss word.
There are six more but let's just leave it at that.
How many lies have you told in your life?
Have you ever taken anything that didn't belong to you?
Jesus said, if you look at a women lustfully you've already committed adultery in your heart with that woman.
How many times a day do you do that?
Do you use God's name as a cuss word?
Would you do that with your own mother's name?
If you answer these questions honestly you know that you're guilty.
God can justly punish you and send you to hell.
Ask him for mercy.
His name is Jesus.
Honestly, I wish that the Latin West would at least reclaim its Latinity. It’s genuinely sad whenever I go to a Western Mass that this is ever rarely heard.

I am. I sing and I remember singing Ubi Caritas for a school event with my choir and closing my eyes and just feeling the music as I added my own voice to it
What an education these men are. They think they're here to learn, when actually they're teaching us. Respect to you all and may God hear your prayers.
🙏 amen
@O_O it's so dumb too as "awomen" has no meaning, "amen" is a Hebrew phrase meaning truth. Just because it contains "men" has no relevance as it's derived from a completely different language. They are just blatantly ignorant people that are attempting to dilute the faith along with its practices and teachings.
One can learn and teach at the same time, because to become a teacher, one must become a student again.

I'm Catholic and this is the first time I've ever heard of a "professional Gregorian chant singer". We usually just have nuns, brothers and priests who sang it. Most catholics choirs (who sometimes perform it) don't really specialize in 1 particular style. When I was part of my choir when I was studying in a catholic school, we sang both in English, Latin and the occasional Italian. Latin is so rarely used in Mass that most Catholic choirs only perform it when the service is either all in Latin or its Easter, Christmas, etc.

The Gregorian Chants are actually an entire school of sacred music that was developed and preserved by the Order of Saint Benedict. There are many chants for different purposes and different times of the day and year. In that respect they’re a bit like Indian ragas.
The “Dies Irae” is often sung at funerals and, as I remember, during Holy Week. The lyrics concern Judgement Day. The Gregorian system of notation was the foundation of the Western system of musical notation that has been one of the greatest achievements of The West, because it has allowed us to preserve centuries of great music precisely as the composers intended.

@@Nana-fy2gu The jazz guitarist John McLaughlin, who has studied Indian music very hard and incorporated it into his own playing, once remarked that Indian classical music, like Western classical music and jazz, is a discipline - a huge body of traditional knowledge with strict standards of performance that require one to become a “disciple” to a “master” before one becomes a master oneself. Note the religious implications.
The Dies Irae is sung on the last Sunday of the liturgical year, which is the last Sunday before Advent (the four week period before Christmas), not sung during Holy Week
